Met colleagues for an after work / retirement celebration. The side room was great. A little cramped - but a sign of great colleagues sending off an awesome person! Stayed for dinner after a few cocktails. Had the cajun chicken wrap with fries. It was good and arrived quickly despite they were very busy. This is a great venue - bar / restaurant to visit! See you for the next "party"

Cleveland Classic. The Big Ed burger can never go wrong the wings and sauces are phenomenal and it's a great place to watch a game. Ribs are the sleeper here. There's not much more to say

Greek Grilled Chicken Salad is great. So much flavor. Very filling for a salad.

Our waiter Cory was superb, what a gentleman, fast and funny as well. The asparagus steak salad is worth eating over and over.

First off; We have to take some of the blame because we saw the bad reviews, but long story short,…read morewe ended up here. I will say that our server was very nice and good at her job. After that, it's all downhill. When she poured the coffee, it came out like water!! Just so you know I actually like weak coffee- so if I say that it was like water, you gotta know that it was bad! After tasting our food , I ended up asking for the manager. The manager wasn't there, but the person filling in came over to the table. I was very nice because there's no reason to be rude to people. I asked her if she had seen the reviews for the restaurant... she said she had, and that she knew that they were bad. I explained to her that we thought we would give them a chance, but the reviews were spot on and I would be leaving a BAD review also. I showed her that the pancakes were so cold that the butter did not melt and she could see that for herself. And that the eggs and sausage gravy were cold. Health and Safety: Of course cold food does not taste good, but let's start thinking about it with FOOD SAFETY in mind..! Are people going to get SICK if they are not keeping their food at the right temperature according to Health and Safety Standards? The substitute manager took off the price of one meal and the coffee. But she didn't really have anything to say... I would not be surprised if this place closes soon. I'm sorry that we did not just go somewhere else but I guess you live and learn. Stay away from this place.

The atmosphere was bright and homey, an ideal place to start your morning. We were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken immediately. I appreciated that we were given a pitcher of water alongside our main drink orders. However, we weren't very impressed with the size of the cups for the waters. They were one step above a shot glass. Prices are about what you'd expect. We both got pancakes, mine having chocolate chips and strawberries. While I prefer to have my strawberries more sauce-like than fresh, I still found them enjoyable. We both liked our pancakes, but I have two complaints about them. I don't like that they don't come with some sort of side, especially when I'm paying nearly $8 for them and 99 cents per topping. And while they're supposed to be bottomless, the size of the pancakes makes it pointless. If you get the full order (which is required for the bottomless option), you get three pancakes that are almost the size of the plate. Unless you have one heck of an appetite or multiple stomachs, it's nearly impossible to make to a second plate. My boyfriend ordered a side of hash browns with his pancakes. We shared them and I thought they were decent. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely edible. Overall, I'd come back here and try the other things on their menu.

What a special find. This local diner was recommended to me several times and I just never seemed…read moreto follow up on it. So the other day my wife and I decided to go for lunch. Well we drove out to River St. in Grand River in NE Ohio. On a heavily commercial road in an older neighborhood there it was, "Sammy's Family Restaurant". An older building with parking on both sides and around the back. So we parked and went inside. At the front door we were greeted by a sign that said, "Seat yourself at a clean table". As we wandered over to a nice location we noticed small, laminate cards on the tables that read "CLEAN". So we sat, and when the waitress came over she picked up our sign... quaint and efficient. We wandered through an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. It had everything you could possibly want. Really, the choices were 5 pages long. So I ordered a kosher dog with kraut and fresh cut fries. My wife had a cheeseburger with fries as well. Both were large, perfectly prepared and the fries were amazing. It was almost more than we could eat. But, we had to try the rice pudding I saw on the menu. We ordered coffee and a rice pudding to share. The pudding was awesome! It was clearly home made. So, as we were preparing to crawl out of the place because we were so full. The waitress brought us the check. I think my eyes almost popped out of my head. It had a grand total of only $25.00. I looked at it twice and showed my wife. We couldn't believe that excellent experience only cost us $25.00. I told the cashier what a wonderful surprise her place was and we would definitely be back. You should definitely go too.

Decorated for Valentines Day. Ceiling tiles are coffee cups. Cute. Staff super friendly. At least 3 people greeted us. And servers all talked to us at the counter. We ordered. I got a bowl of soup and side salad. Soup was a hm cream of broccoli. Side salad was good size. But only had tomato and cheese on it with iceberg lettuce. Could have used a cucumber or olive or something. It was fine. But very basic. Soup was hot. A pet peeve that was not peeved. LOL! My partner got a BLT on rye with fair fries. Good as well. Lots of bacon. Overall, good experience! Everyone seems to enjoy their meals. Prices are very good. Don't miss the specials on the board in front. Those aren't on the menu so they are specials. I'd go back in a minute.
