No! Grumpy Cat No! It was that bad this time. So, this is my second review for this WingStop. Yesterday I received an message from Steve Davidson, the owner of the WingStop in Warren. He asked myself to give WingStop another try and offered an free classic 6 piece meal. I thought OK, maybe I went there on a day that bad employees were working. Maybe the owner did not know what was going on in his store because things run differently when he is on site. Maybe there was a store meeting to discuss customer feedback. I ordered my meal via telephone. The worker was very polite with the script she had memorized. I picked up my meal and was feeling hopeful. The dining room was cleaner. Although the floor was not clean as it should have been being that they opened just an hour before I arrived. The cashier was nice as I explained about my free meal from Steve Davidson. I got home about five minutes later and was disappointed by my meal. Although the wings were not as small this time, the fries, oh the fries. Wet, soggy, limp fries. The taste of sugar in WingStop's French fry season was overwhelming. Yes, sugar on French fries! Can you say "Merica? I had 3 Mild wings that were so mild that they had no Buffalo sauce flavor. I also had 3 Hawaiian wings, that were fine but nothing special. Never again. read more

I frequent this location because its close to where I live and my son likes the food. However, I don't like the service 50% of the time, one being today. When I walked in, there was one customer sitting, 2 at the register ordering and one waiting in line in from to me. The people ordering had a big order and I mean they were there for a while. There were 5 people preparing food, I felt like one should have at least come up to cash waiting customers out and one finally did. When it was my turn, they both left from the front area and just left me standing there. The one saw me and came back up He asked the other to make a sprite and she rudely sat it on the counter, didn't say have a great day, and I had to reach to where she was. They can be rude at this location, especially that female whom I'm sure is a manager. Now, she gave the people ordering impeccable service, but I have never gotten a warm reception from her. read more

Poor service. Always forgetting the sauces on my carry out order. Wings are very small. Will not recommend/go back to this place.

It took almost 40 mins for my buddy and I to get our orders. We had ordered before 3 other people and they had all gotten their foods before us. You would think after all that time the food would be fresh and tasty but the fries were soggy as it was just sitting out for a while before they gave us our orders. read more

I really like the wings a lot. The BBQ and Parmesan boneless are my favorite. I don't suggest getting the fries because they taste sweet and aren't the best, but other than that I've had no problems. read more

Randomly happened upon here. Not bad, not bad at all. It's like BDub's little clever little brother. Instead of the loud, bar, table service atmosphere, it's a quieter, fast casual, counter service wing spot. Comparable wings, better value, I like it. They don't have quite the sauce/dry rub selection, but have pretty much all the basics and a few different sauces. The cashier was pretty friendly so no complaints there. The wings didn't blow me away, but they do come with fresh cut fries which is nice. read more

Something is going on with this place, it used to be my favorite but lately its getting progressively worse. The service has always been less than stellar. But the orders are normally right. However lately, not so much. I ordered almost 60$ worth of wings and ,, well for that price, the order show be right. It wasn't, I'm going to start trying a different location, if it's not any better, I guess I will have to try a different brand. read more

It's not a 5 star restaurant but if you are looking for buffalo wings and fries it's a great option. They told me it would take 14 minutes for my wings and sure enough 14 minutes later my wings and fries were ready. The wings were hot, and covered in delicious sauce. They gave a generous portion of dipping sauces. And the fries were fresh and excellently seasoned. The dining room was accompanied by rap music and the TV's were on sports channels. It was a very enjoyable experience and exactly what I was looking for when I stopped in. read more

So excited that this location finally opened up. I had been to the other two locations in the area, but this one takes the cake. The owner has done a fantastic job with his staff. It has only been open for a week and already this WingStop is far better than the other metro Detroit locations. The staff was so friendly and they had my food ready exactly when they said they would. The wings were prepared perfectly (not too much sauce like I had experienced at other chicken wing restaurants) and the fries were some of the best I have ever had. And it is all prepared fresh! Needless to say that I will be a regular here and anyone who likes wings would be crazy not to try out this new gem. read more

Stopped in here for lunch with my girlfriend after a hard day of targeting. The lady at the counter was pretty nice explaining the menu and process. We each got 8 wings ( bone in and boneless) and fries. They messed up our flavored and put them on the wrong type of wings no big deal because we were sharing, but in my opinion it was a sloppy mistake. The mild and lousiana rub were great, while the lemon pepper tasted like they just dipped them in lemon juice, the garlic parm had zero garlic flavor and was just smothered in Parmesan cheese. I was also a little off put by the size of the boneless wings, 3 out of the 8 we're good size while the remaining ones were about as big as a quarter, for $10 I expected bigger than popcorn chicken and felt a little ripped off. Another peeve- while they have a few high chairs they don't have a changing table in the ladies room where there is more than enough space. I don't know why you have one but not the other... I'll probably be back when I want some wings but don't feel like heading out to the bar ( harder to down beers and smash on wings with a baby, sacrfices! ugh!) read more

I did carryout there today for the first time and if I would have looked at the wings before I left I would have asked for my money back! They were extremely small (like the size of a chicken nugget from McDonald's). There was very little sauce on them and they did not taste all that good either. And also the fries seamed old. All and all the food sucked. The only reason I feel that they even deserve a single star is that the staff was polite. read more

We ordered online and my boyfriend went to pick up the order, so I can't comment on the service. He had no complaints though, so I assume the service was great. :) We ordered the meal for 2 which came with 15 classic wings (you can choose up to 2 flavors), a large basket of fries, 2 20 oz drinks, and 2 dips for $18, which IMO, is an awesome deal! We also added another side of classic wings (5 pieces for $3-4). The flavors we ordered were garlic parmesan, hawaiian, and lemon pepper. One thing I didn't like was the packaging for the fries. It literally came in a basket, which can be troublesome especially if it spills (luckily for us, it didn't). The fries, however, were seasoned perfectly and very delicious! The wings were good, but I felt they lacked flavor compared to B-Dubs. my favorite of all three was the hawaiian because it was sweet and tangy and tasted delicious with the ranch sauce. I will definitely come back to this place again and give the other seasonings a try. Hopefully they will be packed with more flavor like Buffalo Wild Wings are. read more

I have been to this Wingstop location several times over the past few months. The staff is always friendly, even greeting me by name on occasion. The place has always been clean when I arrive, which is usually after the lunch rush. The service model is to order at the counter from a menu board, get your drinks (they have beer, if you're interested,) and they call your name when your order is ready. You pick up your order at the counter. After your meal you leave your tray on your table and they bus it. There are NO trashcans around. Everything is made fresh to order, and the chicken is never frozen. It really makes a difference in the chicken. It has been tender and juicy every time. The wings are a little on the small side, but I'm willing to make that tradeoff of quality over quantity. They have several flavors. I like the Mango Habenero; it is spicy. It pairs well with the Hawaiian if you do half and half. To sum it all up, prices are a little higher than some places, but I am willing to pay a little more for fresh, friendly and clean. read more

Ordered a carry-out while at work, the wings were great. Better deals then Bdubs, and the staff is friendly!
