Was craving Wingstop tonight and found out that this location opened up in Walnut so I went for the first time. Bad mistake ... (always read reviews before going to a restaurant. Customers don't lie about their experiences) We my friend and I got there, it was 7:20pm and there was no one in the store. The cashier who took our order seemed like she was in a rush to go somewhere because she talked insanely fast. Usually its fine since I already knew what I wanted to order but for those who are new comers, they might feel too rushed to get their orders in. This is where the waiting started. I know Wingstop prides themselves on "fresh wings" right when you order, but honestly the wait is ridiculous. My friend and I waited 30 whole minutes for 16 wings. And again, there was no one in there except for us. I was getting really upset because by that time I was tired and hungry. Then suddenly a rush of people came in and there was 4-5 groups waiting for their orders to be taken and to get their food as well. Good luck to them. 30 minutes passed and it was 7:57pm when we finally received our food. Quality of the wings were okay -- hence the 1 star. I didn't ask for all flats but out of the 8 wings I got, 8 were drumsticks and only 2 were flats. Disappointing ratio. The celery in the veggie sticks were really dehydrated. It was as if they left it out for way too long and the moisture was nonexistent. And they still served it. Honestly, because of the wait time, this joint receives a 1 star from me. Wingstop needs to pick up the pace when cooking/frying their food. Not everyone has time to spend over an hour waiting/eating at a fast food place. read more

Second time this location messed up our order. first time they forgot our fries. We called them back and they said it wasn't there fault. No apology. We had to ask them to refund our order because we weren't going to drive back. they didnt even help try to resolve issue, felt lile we had to ask for it. Most recent visit, they messed up again. Ordered 30 wings and they forgot the seasoning. we called and the response was "i didnt make it". no apology or anything. rather they just put the blame on someone else. Worst part is, on both situations, we ordered online and they were not ready when we came to pick up at our pick up time. they pretty much just dropped the wings in when we arrived, so we had to wait another 15-20 minutes. read more

Placed a mobile order Saturday 16 tradition wings lemon pepper and mild and large fries. Food was ready when I got there took a peak everything looked to be there. At the counter I asked for extra lemon pepper seasoning and the girl was happy to help. Staff seemed friendly they weren't too busy I was the only customer that walked in at that time. Over all food was great and still warm by the time I got home. read more

Young and inexperienced. Food was dry and just OK. The teens in the there were Fobbling around the small kitchen had no plan in place. I was sitting there for 10-15 mins(normal) waiting for my order and found the orchestra laughable. Comes down to bad management. Met a guy that said he was a manager right when I ordered and never saw him again after that lol. Food 3/10 service 1/10 and the show 10/10 read more

I was reading yelp reviews while eating my wingstop and read the one about food poisoning but didn't think it was true. Flash forward a couple hours into the day and I get food poisoning. Don't eat here unless you want your stomach to be wrecked. read more

I really tried to give this place another chance, I really did. I placed an order online for 20 wings, all flats, and a side of ranch. I was in a hurry when I got there, so I just picked it up and left without checking it since I assumed they would have checked the order before handing it to me. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The wings are straight up just classic mixed wings (aka not all flats) and the ranch wasn't in the bag (why did I pay extra for both then???). On top of that, there is actually no seasoning on any of the wings and there is an actual pool of oil a few centimeters thick on the bottom of the boxes. I don't know why this wingstop just consistently screws orders up. :/ On the plus side, the girl at the register was very sweet and polite. (But everything else sucked). read more

Wingstop - Practically nonexistent seasoning on the wings, massive pool of oil on the bottom (not draining your wings?), not all flats... - Chicken Wings Near Me - Walnut, California

Don't even bother. Ordered a 10pc boneless wing. They forgot a nugget. Emailed them twice to fix it. Never got an email back. Nuggets were also super small and barely seasoned. When I had an issue at another location, they were quick to fix and address the situation. Not here tho read more

The food was good although fries were definitely NOT well done like I had specifically put in the directions. Not only that I finally drive to my job just to realize they'd forgot 5 wings! WHOLE FLAVOR, how is it possible to forget 5 wings. Not only that when I called them customer service is poor. They tell me they need to speak to the manager, like why just make my wings and have good service. So finally I talk to them and they say they can do store credit so I get my wings. Now I drive back which was probably 8-10 minutes going back and STILL my FIVE boneless wings rent done? When my other 15 came out in maybe 7 minutes. Not only that I go inside and they pull out folder and ask me for I.D.? These re wings, why would I need ID for wings. So I'm writing for not only missing ny winngs but you guys horrible service adds to it. No suprise why the reviews re 2 stars. Its not even like theyre busy either I walked in there is no one inside. The only upside ive got to say is they gave us one extra wing and one of the wings is rather large. Still no apology or nything. Wasting my gas and my time thanks. read more

Wingstop - Only 15 wings from Boneless Meal Deal Combo. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Walnut, California

I had never been to a Wingstop before so me and my sister decided to order wings for dinner last night. We got the 30 piece for 3 people, thinking that we would want to eat a lot of it (when we go to BWW we can get to 10 wings each, easy). We got the combo that came with veggies and fries, and upgraded the fries to Louisiana Voodoo. The veggies were good, nice and fresh and went well with our ranch and blue cheese--is it bad when that was the highlight of the meal? I agree with other reviewers, for whatever reason, their drumette to wingette/flat ratio is off. In all 3 of our boxes there was 2 wingettes and 8 drumettes.. where are all the wingettes? Their wing pieces are extraordinarily large.. which I cannot complain or compliment about. We only ate about 4 pieces each and we were done. We got 20 pieces of lemon pepper and 10 mild--I have had lemon pepper elsewhere and expected a dry rub. Our lemon pepper tasted very buttery and was covered in grease, I am assuming they use a lemon pepper + butter to coat the wings? It was gross. The whole bottom of the box was dripping in this grease/butter and I want my wings to taste like lemon pepper--not butter. The mild wings were not spicy at all, and actually lacked any flavor of buffalo sauce (even though it was red and covered in it). Our Louisiana Voodoo fries did have a kick.. this may be my fault as I didn't expect cajun seasoning to be so spicy (other places don't have this much of a punch)--but the fries were also super soggy. We only live 5 minutes away, so we did not expect them to be so soft. Needless to say we only ate a fry or two each and tossed the rest because it was not very tasty. Overall, we will probably not be back. I expected more out of a franchise.. maybe others are happy with the quality of food that come from here, but I will go elsewhere next time I am craving wings. read more

This is my first time going to this location and it didn't start off great! I walked in with club music playin on their speakers. Then stood at the cashier for 5 minutes practically staring down at the employees in the kitchen gossiping and ignoring me. One of the employees tried to help me but he was clocked out on break. That got the attention of another employee who looked like they were "over their shift." I was greeted with subpar customer service and I ordered quickly just so I could lessen my interaction with that certain employee. I've had food from Wingstop in the past and it was subpar. The only reason why I came tonight was because I had a chicken craving and BWW was too far from me. Will I be coming back and recommend this establishment? HELL NO! read more

Can there be a negative star? The employees are super ghetto and rude. The soda machine has no carbonation. When I mentioned it, the employee ignored us. When I asked for my refund she was mad about having to add carbonation. An angry customer came in about a wrong order. The girls were super rude. I called in an order last night around 4:30pm for a 6:15pm pick up. After confirming the order and pick up time we showed up right at 6:15pm. The employee said we didn't confirm the order so they couldn't make it. I told the employee that's unacceptable as I called in and told them I'll be there right at 6:15pm and the order was already fully paid for online. Asked for a manager. De'Anthony came to the front with his hat backwards. I asked if it was my fault that my order wasn't ready. He said no and that they should have it ready in at least 15 minutes. By now it's 6:20pm. I asked what he can do to resolve this or remedy the situation. He said he can't do anything at all except get me my order. I asked if this is what he was taught by Wingstop on how to handle a customer that isn't satisfied. He said yes and continue saying he can't give out anything extra or give a discount for their delay. He acted as if giving me a free order or fries or something was going to come out of his paycheck. He refused and we waited until about 6:40pm for our order that we paid for at 4:30pm for a 6:15pm pickup. You guys shouldn't allow anyone to order online or over the phone if you aren't going to make the order until they arrive. Completely unacceptable. We will not be back to this store due to how De'Anthony handled the situation. I hope the owner is happy with their selection of who is running shifts at the store. Lost a customer that orders quite often . read more

Extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. Called to place pick up order and the employee who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful. Personally my favorite Wingstop place in the area. They rarely make mistakes but one time they didn't get my order right and I just got a free set of 6 wings. i came to this Wingstop 11/1/2024 and yes it was busy with people at night but the employees were kind and they let me know an estimated time for the food that was actually accurate (5~10 minutes). chefs were quick and organized with the kitchen and my 6 piece boneless wing combo was amazing! wings were crunchy, with enough sauce, and were cooked perfectly. fries were well done and they had enough seasoning which made my late night friday meal absolutely perfect! read more

Wingstop w another new location. Bigger space than the ones local. But! Yea theres a but. Its near Mt. sac community college. So Students linger and hang out. Gotta wait a lil before grabbing a table. Service was great. They were polite and eager to help fill condiments and stock supplies. Workers took their time w each order to make sure they were correct. Random but kinda weird that you can see the next restaurant, Mr. Chirashi, empty, while wingstop is full of customers. Food is as expected. Cant exactly mess up wings n fries. The sweet tea was also good too. Smoking is common around the plaza so expect to smell it here and there while eating. If they had outside seating that would be beneficial too. read more

Customer service so bad... I walked out. With no one in the Walnut store, I stood looking at the menu, while three employees were behind the counter. After a few seconds one female employee acknowledged me and said the two young men would help me. Those two continued talking without even looking at or acknowledging me so I just walked out. With $17 10 wing combos, the dirtiest windows in the city and terrible customer service, no wonder there are no patrons in that store at 6 pm! Wingstop Walnut needs the Jack In The Box across the parking lot to teach their management and employees a thing or two about customer service. I walked there an received excellent service (as always) and had a great meal for half the price I would have spent at Wingstop. read more

First of all, shout out to Abraham! Being a loyal WingStop eater for years, I have to admit that this location is the best WingStop in the area! The store has always been clean when I've come in. The phone etiquette is fantastic. Their customer service in-store is phenomenal. Every team member I've met has been at their most welcoming and engaging. They SMILE, they greet you, and they're all very considerate! However, Abraham went out of his way to make sure my order was complete to my liking. Not only did he ensure that my special requests were no issue, he even came out to double-check the accuracy before trying to complete my order! Only a team member with the best customer service who actually cares about their customers would do something like this. Thank you Abraham for giving us such a positive experience! You can be sure that we will keep choosing this location; truly, it should be the model store for all the other WingStops in the area! read more

Horrible service, food was said to be done 15 minutes before closing time and took much more we were not able to wait inside during this time period we were kicked outside and had to wait outside the door for them to hand our food over. Usually I like to order my food online ahead of time and then go pick it up. At this location of Wingstop they usually put my order in after I arrive so even though I waited 20 minutes to head to the store I still have to wait 20 more minutes after I get there. Another thing is that the food is inconsistent. For example ordering the Louisiana Voodoo fries is like flipping a coin, one day they be super spicy with all kind of ingredients on it and then the next day it will basically be fries with just cheese on it. read more

The food is decent but seriously on an order of 21 bone in wings they give me 3 flats? Wtf

First time trying and even on a busy day, Super Bowl Sunday, all went smoothly. We ordered ahead a few hours before and chose our takeout time. Fries had no seasoning, wings didn't take like how they're supposed to. Overall unhappy with the food

I don't know what it is about wing joints. They have 5 fryers. But, even with multiple orders, there's only one fryer at a time. Why is this so difficult? When I was a chef, I had two fryers and it would almost always be down frying something. I just don't get the thinking behind having 5 fryers and only using one unless no one likes cleaning the fryers. I know it's a hard job but, I mean, you work at a fryer place. What did you expect? ***Update : after my review, the owner replied. Since I don't have a place to reply to that, I'm putting it here*** Thank you for the acknowledgement. In reality, I waited 20 minutes. I know fry time is not this long. I'm assuming that the employees are trained to count wings one by one and throw them in the fryer? When I was a chef, I would have sacks pre-counted. So, an order comes in for 30 wings and boom, there's a sack I just drop in. I'm sorry but I don't mean to push or try to tell anyone how to manage but I see this at every wing place I'm at from Vegas to L.A. and, I just never understood if that's how the kids are being trained or they have no sense of urgency. I would always prebake what I thought would be the necessary amount for the night in the oven first. Then, if I had time, I would start counting out stacks but if not, I was a pretty good judge at grabbing a handful and having it be the right amount for an order. I don't know, when I see certain things, it always bothers me. This is not particularly towards any one wing place but I just happened to choose those one to mention it. read more
