This location deserves 0 stars. Been coming here for over a decade and had the absolute worst experience today. I pretty much love all Wingstops, but this location is by far the best one within a reasonable traveling radius for me. Food is great, as always, but there are a few things that set this spot apart. Their wings are noticeably larger than Hayward's and Fremont's. Other locations that have smaller wings tend to give you more to make up for their lack in size. Here, you get plump, satisfying pieces.. and they STILL hook it up with an extra one or two for good measure. Their workers are extremely inviting, friendly, and keen to your needs. It always catches me by surprise when a fast food joint possesses actual customer service. The wings are soooo delicious! I like lemon pepper, original hot, and hickory smoked bbq. I've also tried mild, hawaiian, and teriyaki (but I can't seem to remember what teriyaki tastes like X:). Hawaiian is actually pretty good, but it's a bit too sweet to order in large quantities. What I also really like about this place is the fries! They're really crispy and flavorful! Sometimes you'll get the large-cut ones, sometimes you won't. I can't seem to get enough of them, especially after I dip them in honey mustard! Honestly, I'm quite surprised that people are complaining about the customer service because in all my years of coming here up to my most recent visit today, I have never received negative customer service. Location: It's in the shopping centre near the BART Station and fairly close to James Logan High School as well. After school hours, you'll probably find it to be crowded with loads of students. Inside, it's nothing too fancy. You have only about 1 large round table that can handle a group and a few smaller tables in a narrow hallway. They have 2 televisions that regularly play sports channels for you sports fans out there (usually American football though). Customer Service: Like I mentioned earlier, it's consistently great (at least to me). Everyone's really sweet and enthusiastic to help you out. The only real issue is that they take a fair bit of time to prepare your wings - maybe around 15-20 minutes. However, with the quality of food it's worth the wait! Food: I recommend getting the 10-wing combo! 10 dollars for... ~ 10 wings with your choice of 1 or 2 flavours. ~ Regular-sized seasoned chips. ~ Your choice of dipping sauce. ~ A regular-sized drink with unlimited refills. I felt like getting a wings and I know wingstop is always good, their fries are tastier than most other paces and the mango habanero is probably my favorite food sauce, and the Korean sauce goes perfect with blue cheese imo, so I got the 10 piece with 5 of each of those sauces. Food aside, I kinda had a problem with a girl who works there, when I went it was close to 11 pm Monday April 30, I think she's got purple hair. I saw they had a honey sauce that's spicy and asked to try the sauce in a container to see if I liked it. The sauce itself isn't bad but I prefer the previous mentioned ones more, fwiw. The issue I had was that after tasting the sauce by itself, which was indeed a little bit spicy/hot, my eyes watered a bit, which is normal for me when eating most spicy foods. The worker commented and asked if I was white because of my reaction, and I didn't escalate the issue with her but I knew right away I was going to comment here about it. She should get fired honestly but that's corporate's call. We can't making racial comments just all casual like that on the job to costumers, casual racism is still racism. Anyway that's my experience there, the food was good, but I had to deal with some casual racism on a Sunday night because my eyes got watery when trying the spicy honey sauce. This is probably my least favorite wingstop franchise. The wait is incredibly long and the service isn't always the best. Also the food I got was pretty disappointing in comparison to other wingstops. I ordered the 6wings combo and it took over half an hour to make. The french fries were incredibly plain, soggy, and lacked seasonings. The cajun wings were seasoned terribly, a bunch of oil and whatnot. I got 2 extra than what I ordered, so thats okay, I guess? I guess it depends, if its not busy your wings will be nearly perfect, but during peak hours, the wings and foods are of ridiculous bad quality, and you have to wait forever! As a big proponent of the ketogenic diet (low carb high fat) diet I'm a huge fan of Wingstop. They cook all their wings to order and they don't add any breading to their classic wings. Great seasonings as well. I always get the garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, original hot, and Louisiana rub. They just a released their korean flavor which is great as well! The only downside is that they can be pretty slow to prepare your order. NOT COVID19 CONSCIOUS!! ALARMING!!!So disappointing! Trying to support local businesses during this awful pandemic and the workers here were not wearing their masks and some did not have on gloves. My husband said something to the girl that was tossing OUR wings, while chatting it up with another employee, and wearing her mask around her neck instead of over her face. Her comment, "I'm hot!" The other employee comments, "omg-I just want to go home"! My husband says, then you should go home-there's plenty of ppl that want to work! Super disappointing and this is why we can't flatten the curve: people that are lacking emotional intelligence, respect for others safety, and a disregard when handling food of those that are out trying to support local businesses. I went here recently with a friend and it was probably the most bang for my buck in a while! We both ordered 10 pc individual combo meals which includes 10 wings with your choice of 2 flavors and a sauce, a generous side of fries, and a drink for all around $12 after tax. The wait wasn't too long, but what really made me happy was the fact that we both got more than 10 wings! They definitely make your money worth it here, because honestly what's the cost of an extra wing or two for Wingstop? My favorite flavors here are Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper! Even though I love spicy food, these are my go to flavors! They offer ranch, honey mustard, and nacho cheese for sauces, but the ranch always wins. If you get the classic wings, they're definitely juicy and flavorful! Sadly, the wings are bit on the smaller side, but since they sometimes give you more it's ok. I'd only suggest the boneless wings if you're on the run and or like more batter, but in general they both taste great! I highly recommend going to this Wingstop over others!
