All joking aside, I was very impressed with my experience here. The food wasn't all that great but for that price... I am on the keto diet so I got a huge plate from the salad bar, which was very impressive. My second plate was filled with plain vegetables such as asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts and some other non-starchy vegetable which I can't remember right now. My third plate was a huge piece of medium rare sirloin that was pretty darn good. I was probably the only one in the restaurant that skipped the dessert that night. I travel a lot and we'll start seeking out Golden Corrals and hope they are as good as this one. He got a blackened grouper sandwich and a frisco sandwich (actually 3 in our group ordered that). I had a smothered cheese and portobello mushroom burger along with one other from our group and the last lady had a pepper steak roll up. All of the food was so so good. For dessert I had a peach cobbler with ice cream and one other lady had a slice of pound cake. We are never disappointed when we go and always love the food.
