I only stopped here to try their biscuits because they were supposedly so amazing. We were driving back from Lumpkin, GA to Tampa, FL and this location was nearest to us at the time. The inside was closed due to covid. Drive thru was open and there was no one in line. The ordering box was knocked out of its place and where you order is located right next to the road, so it's hard for you to hear and hard for them to hear. We finally managed to get our order in. We got both the blueberry biscuit and the cinnamon biscuit. Supposedly the cinnamon biscuit needed to be cooked, so we were told to pull around to the back door for approx. 2 minutes. Nearly 15-20 minutes go by, I called to see if someone would pick up..at that time, another employee was walking outside. She was giving a large order to the people behind us (who wasn't waiting nearly as long as we did). So I asked the lady if she had known the status of our order. She went inside real quick and came right back out with our biscuits. For the inconvenience, she gave us two more of each, which was super thoughtful! We appreciated it! But there was no reason to have taken that long to begin with, which makes me believe they forgot about us. It was a bit frustrating. The biscuits were definitely amazing tbh, especially the blueberry. If I were ever to stop by another Bojangles again, I would try to get the icing on the side (if that's even an option) because it was overly sweet. Without the icing, they would have been perfect! So my 3 stars is because the lady did try to make up for their mistake, again, thank you! And the biscuits were indeed delicious!

Went through the drive in to get a grill chicken salad. it was terrible! There's no way as a person, would I ever serve bad lettuce to anyone! will never, ever, go here again!

I've heard of Bojangles for a long time over the internet. Today i finally got to try it. I ordered a 2 piece breast and wing combo with biscuit , cajun rice and mashed potatoes. I wanted to try the bo-berry biscuits but was told they were out. Most of what I've heard on the internet were comparisons between Bojangle's and Popeye's so today i felt like doing a 1 to 5 versus between the two. Breast and wing - (Bojangle's) The pieces were cooked very well through but still juicy. Color was a bright golden with no burnt smell. The crust was very crispy, hot and fresh. There was a slight redness from spice but too little seasoning. The oil they use is kind of starchy and leaves a film your mouth. My guess they use shortening which i am not fond of. Score 3. (Popeyes) Usually is cooked well but have a tendency to be a little dry. Color has a tendency to be a little darker with little to no burnt smell. Crust has a great crunch, and is well seasoned. Redness from spice is readily present with plenty of seasoning in the chicken also. They use a good oil that feels good in your mouth but tends to be a bit overly greasy. Score 3 Cajun rice and mashed potatoes - (Bojangles) Rice is seasoned well with an ok flavor, but the rice is over cooked. The potatoes taste boxed like KFC and the gravy is bland. Score rice 3 potatoes 2. (Popeyes) The rice is has a good flavor but under seasoned and over cooked rice. The potatoes has a good texture and flavor but the gravy is completely wrong and doesn't belong on potatoes. Score rice 3 potatoes 3 Biscuits - (Bojangle's) The biscuit i got was perfectly baked. Had a light golden brown color. It was crispy and flaky on the outside, it was soft and tender on the inside, and was lightly basted with butter. I have to admit, it was probably one of the best biscuits I've ever eaten. Score 5+ (Popeye's) Their biscuit is a beautiful golden brown, They have a crispy flaky crust. They are tender but sometimes too dry. I love it when they over bast it with butter. Unfortunately they are very inconsistent. I love them but inconsistent. Score 4 I have to say both restaurants are pretty comparable. Popeyes has the better taste and Bojangle's were very well rounded. I would definitely eat there again. The food was very good. And the biscuits were absolutely awesome. I wish i could get them near Chicago. Bojangle's - 13 Popeye's - 13

I know you're not supposed to eat the skin, but my two piece dark meal was so good - skin and all. The skin on the thigh & drumstick was crunchy, and a little spicy. The chicken was also tender, moist, and tasty. I only had one side - the dirty rice. It was towards the end of the tray, but it was still tasty and moist. The staff who waited on us were friendly & gracious. One of the drink selections was out of order. It was also the water selection, and water is all I drink. Most of the tables were clean, as was the two stall ladies room with soap and paper towels.

I haven't been to Bojangles in 10+ years so I thought I'd give em a try again. From the way people were piled in the restaurant and slurping down chicken had me thinking it's gonna be good! I ordered 5 wings and seasoned fries. I was totally disappointed, service sucked the cashier didn't even greet me or say thank you, after I paid or to pick up my order. The chicken and fries had absolutely no seasoning, but I'm thankful they were FRESH! It reminded me of Chester's chicken, NO FLAVOR! Needless to say, I'm not dining at this chain again!

I used to love Bojangles back in the day when they had a presence in the Tampa Bay area. Back then though, we didn't really have much of a Popeyes presents, so Bojangles was about all we really had. Sure, we had Church's fried chicken, Kentucky Fried Chicken and all that jazz, but Bojangles was a little bit different. When they all closed down in Tampa Bay area, the Popeyes influence grew and all you had left of Bojangles' for memories of how good it was. However, time goes on, things change and so do your taste buds. The last time I had Bojangles was probably in the late 90s and I remember it being really tasty so I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into a biscuit and some fried chicken when pulling off of the interstate in Tifton Georgia. My excitement soon fizzled out though. What I got was mediocre chicken with no Louisiana spice whatsoever, bland mashed potatoes and gravy and a slightly better-than-average biscuit. Bottom line here, if you really want fried chicken and there isn't a Popeyes around, go for it. Eat the Bojangles'. Don't expect a fast food culinary miracle though.

This place is better than KFC and Popeyes, hands downnnnn Decided to grab some food on our way to florida...this place is besides the Adock pecan place.....great service, clean place and awesome food that gave me serious food coma....too bad they only have this place in the south Their chicken is equivalent to 2 KFC chicken up here in Canada Also love their sweet tea

The staff is very friendly at this location! I use the drive through service for breakfast.. usually in a hurry! The food is always hot and fresh.. only thing I would say is the staff needs to slow down just a tad and make sure everything is going in the correct bags.. now I'm sitting here with these beautiful biscuits with sausage gravy and NO Fork!! bummer!

We used to have Bojangles in Louisville. And then they got rid of all of them and people started wanting them of course cuz it was gone and it's something they couldn't have. Have not had it since I was a kid, and we were very excited now that we're in Georgia and have them everywhere. So first night in Georgia we decide to stop at Bojangles. Well Nostalgia definitely got the best of me from what I remember when I was a kid and had Bojangles to what I actually got at Bojangles. It is absolutely nothing special whatsoever. We got a family pack meal for the four of us and it was $14 that everyone's got special since it was after 5 p.m.. we got 8 piece chicken a macaroni for biscuits and a mashed potato. So the deal was actually good, but the food was just not very good. We have plenty of food left over since there's a lot of food. Would give the chicken a to it's all just food it's already been cooked and kind of just waiting for you on a hot stove. However I will say that the lady that worked there was excellent she was cool as hell. She commented on how beautiful my kids were she talked to his about her grandkids very friendly got his honey packet we wanted hot sauce packet we wanted she was awesome. However the food was just not there don't miss Bojangles now not being Louisville and don't plan on going back. I don't recommend

She checked back on us several times, and recommended we stop back in on our way back to Florida. Spouse ordered the smoked pork chop lunch with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cornbread: it was all delicious, especially the chop! I ordered the pulled pork lunch with fries, squash casserole, and cornbread. My favorite sauce was the Sweet & Tangy: I used it on the pork as well as my fries. The squash was flavorful (yum) but I did pick out some of the breadcrumbs in order to get straight squash flavor--so good! Finally, I'm in love with their cornbread! When we do come back in our travels, I may just order cornbread and butter as my dessert! Highly recommend this place, and be sure to say hello to Server Denise (she said to call her that, as the owner is also named Denise! Fun!

While yes the food is better than fast food and it's nice to stop for a family lunch during a long drive at a place with lots of options, not sure we'll make this stop again. The chicken finger platter is a plate of concession stand chicken fingers, nothing special (or good). The ribs are dry while simultaneously wet but not in a rib winning competition way. Mac and cheese is on the menu so that pleased the younger crowd. Kids cheeses burger was a sad thing Pattie with unmelted cheese on top. Unfortunately, I kept getting bombarded by tiny flies during my meal that really distracted from the (indoor) dining experience. I'm not sure if it was the sodium or brain overthinking but left nauseous and ready for a cleanse - body and mind.
