It was good to stop in and try them again. I brought my wife and son on this trip. We shared an order of the Philly fries. For my main course I had the footling Philly cheesesteak with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. For my cheese I had the American wit. It was all so good! The bread on the Philly really did it for me. It was so fresh and crisp. I would recommend this place to anyone in Tallahassee looking for a Philly cheesesteak.

The ambiance was cool. It's a sports bar. Small, but I could easily see myself watching a game in there. Now, the cheesesteak was good. I would probably get a sturdier cheese the next time. The cheese whiz was so liquidy that it was all over the wrapper. I usually like messy sandwiches, but this one couldn't stay together. Not even three bites in the whole thing ripped in half. The onion rings were disappointing. They were pretty dark and were soft and doughy when they cooled down. I barely ate one and won't order them again. I will try this spot again for the sandwich and maybe I'll try the fries next time.

I was looking forward to trying Charles because I had heard good reviews about it. At this time, I would not go out of my way to go there again unless I needed to charge my car. It's clear that management needed to step in and help the kitchen. The person taking the order did his best, but had to ask for change which did not arrive for at least five minutes. The employee should've had a little more support.

The dining area was spotless; the cashier was nice and quite patient with me in deciding what to order. I ordered the Philly chicken and my daughter had wings. When I pointed out the oversight, there was an apology and a few minutes later, I received fries with cheese, which I did not order. I ended up eating some of the fries from my daughter's order and just giving her the cheese fries because I don't like "wet" cheese on my fries! I will give them a pass on this though because my sandwich hit right! LOL! :o)
