Great wings, bold flavors -- especially the Mango Habanero! My husband and I are big fans of chicken wings. Sure, it's not the healthiest choice, but we enjoy indulging every now and then. This time, we decided to try Wingstop. It was my first time, though my husband had been there before and liked it. He mentioned they have some really spicy options, so we ordered almost every spicy flavor on the menu -- including one that was extremely hot. I usually prefer spicy wings over sweet or buttery ones like Parmesan Garlic, but that one was almost too much for me! The real winner for me was the Mango Habanero. I tried it for the first time, and I think I found my new favorite. Just the right balance of sweet and heat -- I highly recommend it! We also got the fries and corn, and everything tasted great. One small downside: we didn't dine in, but my husband picked up the food and mentioned the atmosphere inside wasn't very inviting -- no windows, kind of dark and unwelcoming. Still, that didn't take away from the food experience. read more

The food is satisfactory, but the service is terrible. The servers had an attitude. She rolled her eyes when I am asked questions

Such a convenient spot to grab some solid wings and fries. While they are hit or miss on their fry quality (either too soggy or too fried, but sometimes perfect), their wings are almost always solid (though occasionally over seasoned). The staff are so kind and helpful. They are also very good at handling the large volume of orders they get at this location. Solid choice for the price point. Good deals ($19, 20 boneless wing + large fry deal is the best). read more

Ordered the food for Pick Up. I got the lemon pepper wings and I got the garlic Parmesan wings. Ordered the 10 piece meal deal and I got fries and a drink and I requested two extra blue cheeses. First off. I got two ranches second of off. I didn't even get the wings I ordered finally what really upset me is. I called the manager and let him know that the meat is still raw and he was like OK. What do you want me to do about it? There's no manager here. Totally unacceptable will never be returning back to this location. read more

The food is satisfactory, but the service is terrible. Kailani, our host had a disgusting attitude. She rolled her eyes at my whole group, rushed us through orders, and is not welcoming at all even when we were all kind. This wingstop almost always forgets something in our order too, and her attitude made it way worse. Someone needs to put her in check. read more

Wingstop - Chicken Wings Near Me - South San Francisco, California

Recently tried the chicken tenders at the Sloat Wingstop location and had such a good experience there that I decided to get them again, but somewhere else. Ordered online again and by the time I got there, the food was ready. This location has seating so I sat down to eat. Was definitely disappointed by the tenders -- they were way worse than the ones I got at the Sloat location. They weren't crispy/crunchy at all and tasted like they had just been left out for forever. Size of the tenders were also really inconsistent. Overall just didn't look appealing and unfortunately it didn't taste better than it looked. TLDR; just go to the Sloat location next to SFSU if you want wingstop lol read more

Literally reviewing mainly bc of the service bc all wingstops basically is what it is. I made an online order here and waited an extra 30 minutes outside of my pick up window -.- I kept getting told it's coming it's coming and they literally never even checked with the kitchen for the order. I asked again and it was freaking sitting there the whole time under my last name. There was another lady who was here before me called in an order and they kept saying they didn't have her order, then they found it and started preparing it and swas waiting this whole time. read more

The Today I had a bad experience with the service because I went to buy and wanted to use the bathroom before eating and Mrs. Camera was rude and treated me as if I were a homeless person I left very upset because I always eat wings and today I was so upset that I didn't want to eat because people are so reckless they should be more empathetic read more

By far, the best Wingstop location I have ever experienced. From the customer service to the food, cleanliness and everything in between, A1. You know when Wingstop is done the right ways, it hits different, shoutout to the cooks. I also want to acknowledge the guy who took my order, Danilo. Extremely polite, patient and professional. Thanks so much for the great experience! read more

I accidentally ordered online, I called immediately and they said they cannot refund me since her manager was not there. She gave me the option to change the order pickup to another time or day, but I did not know when I would pick it up the next day. When I asked for more clarification the person answering the phone tried to pretend that the reception was going out. I called the location back 10 minutes later, the same lady picked up and said hello. Once I said hello back she asked how she could help me. I continued on for a couple more seconds and then reminded her that I am the same person who called about the refund. Once she heard this she went back to pretending that she could not hear me and that the reception was going out. Being frustrated I gave up on a refund and decided to go in person the next day and asked for my order to be moved to the day of but later in the evening. They agreed since I had already paid. I come in later that day to pick up my order that I already had a hard time fixing and they did not have it ready at all. They seemed confused even though it was the same workers I saw earlier that day. They remembered who I was began making my order on the spot which took an extra 20 minutes. At the end I say thank you and apologize on my end for the inconvenience even though it was not my fault. The manager proceeds to come out and ask me interrogatively for my receipt as if I did not already show them several times that I ordered and did not pick up. He took a picture of my phone and I still said thank you with a smile. 0/10 would never come back here. read more

Just went there. Was told my order would be ready in 5 minutes- waited 10 until I noticed that one of the bags that was there SINCE I WALKED IN had my name on it. I asked, and the lady just laughed and handed me the bag. I asked why she told me it wasn't ready when it actually was, and she just walked away and ignored me. NEVER going to this location again. read more

i love wingstop a lot, but sometimes when i come to this location theres times it can be disappointing, with lemon pepper wings they barely season it, but thats really my only problem with it besides really slow service time, which also depends on the day. One time i waited an hour and 30 minutes for just 6 wings and fries. read more

Wingstop - Inside - Chicken Wings Near Me - South San Francisco, California

Whenever football season is in full effect, the need/want for wings definitely comes top of mind more often than any other time of the year. I'll start by saying, I'm not the biggest fan of wingstop, but the convenience and price point is what keeps me coming back. Right now they are currently running an 'All-in Bundle' which includes 16 boneless wings and 6 crispy tenders with up to 4 flavors, large fries, and 3 dips all for the price of $19.99. It says it's good for 3-4 people, which makes me feel bad, because I basically ate the whole meal. After this meal, led to a lot of self-reflection. Looked down at my to-go containers and realized I ate 17 wings lol Ehh oh well, I'll walk it off eventually. This time around I went with the mango habanero, lemon pepper and the spicy Korean. They've definitely tamed down their mango habanero, because it ain't even spicy!! The lemon pepper is one of their best dry-rubs, and the spicy korean tastes pretty good. My issue with the wings is the breading, lil to heavy on it, chicken ratio is off and with the chicken is dry. Overall though, I feel like I know what to expect whenever coming to wingstop. It's alright wings at a reasonable price. Shout out the marketing team for putting together such an enticing deal, which is the only reason I decided to come here lol read more

Wingstop - Seasoned fries, over cooked and nasty as hell this is terrible! - Chicken Wings Near Me - South San Francisco, California

Well Date of Visit: January 25, 2024 and While in San Francisco We were looking for some places to eat and it was kind of late so driving around and there were a couple of places open late and Wing Stop was one of them . So we were kind of craving wings well why not give this place a try and off we went . First it is located next to a Safeway Grocery store and there are tables inside for you to sit also !! Now we were looking at there menu and decided on the 15 pieces meal for 2 and it comes with of course 15 pieces of wings French Fries and 2 regular drinks . Plus we got the chicken sandwich and you can add any flavor from the board to your chicken sandwich so I got the BBQ Flavor and we had to wait quite a long time for our food to come out !! So service is kind of slow and it was not busy at all !! Well Finally we got our food after 40 Minutes and what I noticed was the fries were burnt and our chicken sandwich was full of BBQ Sauce !! I mean packed with Sauce !!! Maybe over sauce !! But the Chicken was good though !! Also we got the lemon pepper chicken wings which was not bad with the garlic wings also !! Our overall experience was not bad and if you happen to be in San Francisco and looking for a place to eat late give Wing Stop a Try !! If I happen to be around this area I might stop by again but until then I say not bad and not the best !! But still good though !!! Who does not like Chicken Wings !!!! read more

Gotta love wingstop :) Been coming to this one since I've been in High School. I can say that all wingstop near this area are usually similar with their service, ambiance & quality of food. They take a while with orders, but I don't mind since chicken usually takes longer to cook. read more

My favorite go to place for wings. I usually get the lemon pepper and a mixture of either original hot or garlic parmesan but I ALWAYS get the fries. The best thing about the fries is that you can season it as you wish. I usually get the lemon pepper fries or the cajun fries! The original fries usually come with a dash of sugar (is what I think they do since it's kind of sweet and savory). Aside from this, the wait time for the wings and your order is quite ridiculous. I would highly recommend placing an order either online or through a phone call before you enter so you don't waste your time waiting there. Parking is quite plentiful but you are also sharing the lot with other business around. Ranch and dipping sauces cost extra so keep that in mind. My favorite things here: Lemon pepper wings, Cajun fries, and honey mustard dipping sauce! read more

This place has horrible service. I called to place an order with Mark and he mentioned the price and the time 10-15 min... no problem! I get there and tell a worker I'm here to pick up and "checks" the back and it's not ready yet... no problem! Don't check my order to ring me up at that... ok! I wait another 25 min until finally a worker asks what my order was and come to find out my order was never even placed at all!! After waiting for almost 1 hr for a 10 pc combo I leave the store with nothing but disappointment. 0 stars but I at least had to put 1 read more

Wingstop - Best flavored fries - Chicken Wings Near Me - South San Francisco, California

Never had a problem from this location. Always seems busy. We all know that wingstop has the best RANCH (fight me)... fries are amazing, nice & sweet & salty. I like the less hot flavor of wings that they offer. Extra fries with extra seasoning & extra ranch. Never really ate at the pocket always took it to go. But it seems like a chill place to sit down & eat. Free refills if you dine in. read more

I go here often and there's been countless times where I pre-order my meal and I am left waiting an extra 45-55 minutes. Staff, especially the cashier works backwards. They are so slow and sloppy. Avoid eating here or make sure to have extra time on your hands when ordering. They also never call out the orders once they're ready. They just sit on the shelf to get cold unless you as the customer speak up. It's a hot mess read more

I used to frequent this Wing-stop often, food was decent and in a convenient location. Tonight, I was petrified of what I saw in the kitchen & lost my appetite immediately. Tonight I stopped in for a late night craving of a lemon pepper chicken sandwich. I stood patiently waiting, but couldn't help but notice how the staff was hosing down the kitchen floors WHILE PREPPING FOOD! I'm sure some of that nasty ass water gets on the food and prep tables. They used a squeegee to brush the water into the drain, fryers and prep tables were shuffled around while the walls and floors got a nice hose down. I talked to the lady Ana & told her I don't think it's very sanitary to hose down the kitchen while prepping food. She told me, "It's just water, we do this every day." I asked for a refund immediately, and will not be returning. I stood there for 16 mins in horror and still never got my food. Enough is enough, someone needs to call the health department and staff needs to be retrained in food safety. read more

-Arrived and stated online order pickup. Cashier tells me "2 minutes." Seems like they're working on last couple things on my order, ok no problem. -2 minutes becomes 20 minutes. There are other 5-6 other customers who were waiting for their pickup orders and whose names were called before mine which is fine but from being told 2 minutes, I'm anticipating to be called soon around 2 minutes or so which did not happen. -Cashier proceeds to call out everyone elses name from the 2 people at the front bench to 3-4 other customers in the back of the restaurant. Mind you I'm trying be patient so I'm on my phone not looking up as much as I could have. 20 minutes have gone by and the same cashier magically asks what my name is and picks up my order off of the shelf. Who knows how long my order has been there but he called everyone else's name except mine so I could've gone about my way much sooner than I was able to. -once I get to my destination, lo and behold, 10 wings are missing which I had ordered for my wife's lunch at work which I paid for but did not receive. So I love wingstop. Hands down it's my favorite place for wings. I love their lemon pepper bone in wings with a side of their yummy fries! They usually answer pretty quickly and everyone is really nice. One thing I had to mention & take a star off for was I ordered 10 large fries not too long ago and I asked for ranch with the fries and they would not give me ranch on the side. It's no like I was asking for extra ranch on top of them already giving me some I was just asking for ranch with the hella fries I was getting.. No I had to pay an additional $11 for ranch. I thought that was a little ridiculous. Fries should come with some sort of dipping sauce other then ketchup. The wings should not be the only thing that comes with a dipping sauce. Well other then that little hiccup this location is overall reliable and always makes my food right. read more
