The lemon pepper wings here are always fried to perfection and seasoned just right. Their fries are that delicious soggy texture with this amazing salty-sweet exterior. It's 4/4/16, at 5:48pm and I've experienced the worst customer service in my dining experience. It was a latina female. I placed an order online and got a confirmation email, complete with a order total and a order number. I come in to pay for my meal and they have no history of my order, I show her the email order confirmation and she says it means nothing, they do orders by names not order numbers. I asked her to check in the system and she didn't, I then asked her if she could bump my wings up to the front of the line considering it was a mistake on the company's part and she said "no sorry I can't do that". I didn't read the reviews before I wrote this , (since I saw plenty of negative ones) , well I can tell you that this place is cute , I'm usually very picky but it's clean and decent looking , I just wrote this review because I got amazing customer service from the cashier . I think that he does an amazing job at what he does but in general the only complaints I have about the food are the wings are too crispy for wings , and the ranch is less creamier than usual , but overall pretty good :) read more

Once I tried this place I went like 3 times in one week!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! You get so much variety of wing sauces to toss them in! I have tried each and every flavor and my personal favorites are the Regular Hot, Lemon & Pepper and the Parmesan. They do have a flavor called ATOMIC which you can challenge yourself to eat like how Adam does it on Man Vs. Food. Imagine the sauce is like cake batter and it just burns! I literally can only bare to eat one wing every 10 minutes. The french fries here are delicious maybe because they sprinkle a little sugar on it. Overall, I do prefer to eat the wings here over Wing N Things based solely on the variety of sauces you can choose from. read more

never going back again here, worst operation in the city. They screwed up my take out order and when I called they argued with me that they didn't. The lecturing tone changed a bit when I told them I had an email confirmation, they were still arrogant but said there may have been a mistake. They refused any solution I asked and refused to refund me for the item they missed but charged for, unless I would go back with the entire order in my hand. I live 25 minutes away so I said I am not spending an hour on the road for the refund, they should just credit it back to me (and I would still be on the losing end). I asked for the manager, they said the manager had no time for me, his decision was that I wouldn't get any refund. DO NOT EAT HERE. Ordered ahead of time and was told that my order would be ready in 25min, came in 25min after i placed my order and had to wait an additional 20min to get my food. While i was waiting i noticed the complete lack of sanitation through out the restaurant, from the excessive grease on the ground to the cup lids and straws scattered all over the counter tops. I love Wingstop, it's my favorite place to get wings, but this particular Wingstop is horrible, consistently. I've been to this Wingstop multiple times and about half my experiences have been pretty bad. The staff always seems to be flustered and not really sure of what they're doing and whose order they are working on. When you want to talk to them to find out why your order is taking so long they have a rude and impatient attitude, it's hard because this is the closest Wingstop to where I live, but if you have a Wingstop that's not too much longer of a drive I'd consider going there instead read more

Horrible customer service. Ordered a fries and wings. Came to pick up and realized it was cheaper to get the combo, so I asked if I could do the combo and pay the lesser amount and get the drink. Was told no because then she would have to re-ring it in. So I asked for refund all together. They gave me grief about it but after asking a second time they agreed. I prefer this wing chain over Wings N Things, I just wish they had a closer location to me. I live in the Clairemont area so Sports Arena isn't particularly nearby. There is nothing better than their lemon pepper chicken wings, and then their garlic parmasean comes in second. The wings are crispy, the meat is tender & juicy and the flavor is perfect. The fries go well with the wings, but it'd be better if it came with some carrots and celery. Aaand I think they charged me for ranch dressing. Not cool. I nearly sh*t a brick when I found out Wing Stop finally opened in SD. I happened upon Wing Stop during a visit to San Mateo and totally had a sordid affair with the lemon pepper wings. BTW, I'm only giving 4 stars to the lemon pepper wings, and nothing else. Nothing else deserves to be served here. The place is pretty costly considering that the meat to bone ratio doesn't justify the price, but it's good. I'm also not sure why it takes so long to get served, but I personally think they're faking it so that you get the impression each order is made with sweet sweet love. Am I going back? Great wings. I had Wingstop wings back in Illinois, and I was thrilled when I found out they opened one in Point Loma. I've been here a few times since they opened and was pretty happy with the wings every time. All the flavors I've tried tasted pretty good. I don't usually order the fries. If I'm here, it's because I'm craving some hot wings. Be very careful with the Atomic wings...these things cannot be underestimated. I loved them when I tried them the first time. Wingstop over Buffalo Wild Wings any day! Lemon pepper is personally my favorite. I would also recommend trying garlic parmesan, a popular flavor as well. The wings always come out fresh and I've never experienced a problem at this location. Absolutely my favorite wingstop! All the employees are super amazing. One of my favorites is Daniella shes super friendly, always smiling never fails to make me laugh even on a bad day. My food is always hot nd ready when i order over the phone and when i go in and order in person i never wait more than 20min but if its super busy maybe 25min.
