This is the second time I've ordered online and my order was not ready by the time I got there. The first time, it was my fault because I ordered before they were open. The second time, my hard-copy was hidden under other orders. The employees were kind of unprofessional about the whole thing, placing the blame on previous workers. Only good thing about is that I got 2 free upgrades. As I'm typing this they are fussing at each other like little school girls for messing up orders and being behind. I'm here to comment on the very considerate and professional evening staff that accommodated me during my first visit to this establishment. It is very clean including the bathroom, and visually organized. It feels like the type of quality you experience in international airports. The night staff: I as I waited for my order the a staff member asked if I was cold. What kind of question is that? I was stunned? I all my years of patronizing eateries I have never a point of consideration once my order was placed. As a matter of fact I was cold (I had just hope off a motorcycle). She adjusted the temp for me sacrificing her own comfort in the hot kitchen- Wow. I witnessed a night crew who was close to finishing for the evening, preserving a level of customer service down to closing time- uncommon in majority of fast food establishments. I'm totally impress by the two ladies attitude. Food- A bit of a let down I ordered 10 wings mixed and a side of regular fries. The wait time for the order seems on par with other wing chains I have been to. Once the wings came I was underwhelmed by the taste. As other readers have mentioned, there isn't any except for the sauce. The sauce should compliment the chicken, not completely mask the wing to a point that i have to stop and remind myself that its chicken i'm eating. The wings are not seasoned or salted.. akin to hospital food as if not to exasperate any potential allergies of patrons. I don't know if the company is into conducting blind taste test against their competitors, but they should. The atmosphere of that establishment outpaces the core product offering, and that's where the bit of a let down comes in to play. You want to root for a place that tries to make all the factors come together. Truly the best customer service out of four I have been in San Diego. The wings are not greasy and employees are just great! The worse one I have been too is the one on university. Long story short the worst customer service I've experienced at a Wingstop. First, I asked for BONE-IN wings and got BONELESS. We had a group of 7 people who all ordered separately. I appreciated the workers trying to serve us all our food at once so we could all eat together but that ended with some of our wings/fries getting cold. When the worker said our order was ready she just shouted at us your order is ready and walked away. All of our wings were on one tray and we had to decipher whose meal was whose. Once we got everything situated we realized we were missing a fry. When trying to get another fry we were told that we were given the correct amount of fries when clearly one of us did not have one. We had to argue to get one. Second, someone order fries with no fry seasoning, she did not get one. Thirdly, we were not given enough ranches, 3 of us had PAID EXTRA for the extra ranch and were not given it. When we went to tell the worker we needed 3 more they said they gave us 7 that's what we get. For some reason they could not comprehend that we ordered extra. Eventually one of my friends just paid for another one, the other 2 that asked for extra just gave up. If the workers are not going to believe the customers when they say they are missing something then they should walk from behind the counter and see for themselves that everyone got what they ordered. read more

We order take out every so often at this location. Our last take out order was not correct, but the store was quick to offer a replacement credit for a future order. I called my order in for pick up, and they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I get there 5 minutes early, and my food wasn't ready for another 15 minutes. Seemed like they had just placed the order when I got there. They are short staffed, and their fountain drink selection was VERY limited, because most of their options were out of order. Geez, where do I begin? Alexa, the horrible worker seemed to be rushing me the entire time. There were only 2 customers eating and 1 customer waiting for food. Alexa was impatient, annoyed, generally unpleasant and seemed holier than thou. Even her co-worker (a guy) seemed uneasy when she was nearby. I noticed he acted meek and got uneasy on 2 different occasions when Alexa was near him. After I placed my order (8 piece wings, veggies, ranch and bread) and paid, she told me it would be 10 minutes until the food was ready, I sat down for 5 minutes and realized it cost less to use the $0.50/wing deal because it was Monday. So I went up and asked for "the same exact meal, but just with the Monday special pricing." Why she didn't suggest that pricing to my attention on her own? I don't know; maybe because she's just an aloof or incompetent employee. What's sad is I think she might be the shift manager. Anyway, Alexa was PISSED. She processed a return as if I just ruined her life; she was super short with me and had a terrible attitude towards me. Even though I was ordering the same exact thing and 5 minutes had passed, she tells me it's going to be 10 more minutes. Eventually, my to go order is ready and I head home. When I unpack the food, there's no utensils and there was no ranch! WHO EATS WINGS WITHOUT SAUCE? Lol. So I go back to the store (I live nearby) and ask for my ranch. She says they charge for ranch and I said ok, I asked for one. Her response, priceless, "no, you didn't." I'm like ok?? Eventually the unpleasant, troll charges me $1.07 for the sauce and I take off. I love Wingstop, and recommend them to anyone who enjoys chicken wings. However, in this case, I would absolutely not refer anyone to this location. My boyfriend and I basically order the same thing every time, and it is rarely correct. We love the french fry seasoning, so we usually ask for extra- and I shit you not, every time we ask for EXTRA seasoning there is a deliberate LACK of seasoning- ZERO. Because this only happens when we ask for extra, we can only come to the conclusion that the employees are doing this on purpose (but why???), which is incredibly frustrating. The service was very bad. The lady taking my order was unpleasant and did not help explain the menu. The environment was very messy and unorganized with trays of food left on multiple tables. My party of three went to sit down at the only table available, which happened to be two tables combined to accommodate 6, so I moved the smaller table to the side incase a party of two came in and was looking for a table. The lady came over and "asked", condescendingly, if she could move the table back where it belongs. She then came back and asked if we wanted to have the table wiped down, I assumed she would anyway since the table was filthy and that is her job... but she continued to question us asking yes or no repeatedly until we gave her an answer. Despite that I enjoy their wings, I hate going to this Wingstop location. The employees act like dull potheads, are very short-worded and rude with you. The little short Asian dude in there (Im not racist and thats the only way I can describe him) rudely asked "Did you pay for your order?" I politely told him I did pay and he held the bag up with an attitude. I asked for ranch and he said "That'll be 99 cents". Its kind of lame to be charged for condiments, but whatever. This Wingstop is closest to me but I'll waste the gas and go to the other Wingstop on University next time, they're very nice and don't sound and look like they hate their lives. I walked in to Wingstop tonight with my friend to get wings but since I didn't want to wait in line I decided to order online. However when I got there they were so prepared and their customer service from the start was incredible. I believe many people that never worked in the service industry have unrealistic standards. And don't value nor recognize excellent quality customer service when they receive it. They provided impressive customer service even during busy peak hours with their Tuesday specials. I definitely appreciated it and wanted to commend those working tonight. I hope that others can recognize hard work and dedication like I have witnessed as well and realize how tough a work environment it is.
