The food, the architecture, the vibes, the views...all wonderful. But I have to mention something I had never tried there until now. He had read about and signed us up for their "Soup-scription" program: you get four soups a month (they make a different one each day, posted ahead). You can sign up for a month, three months, or six months! I didn't realize until just talking to him that he picked the six month option, which comes with the free tote. But for $250, that means we have one meal sorted a week until April! Normally a quart is $18, so the package significantly discounts it. McWethy's is a great restaurant for either casual fare or special occasions (obviously!), and I'm soup-er excited to see what else the soup-scription will bring!

The tavern itself is a bit dark but a lovely place. The service was top notch and we were well served. And the food? Amazing! A great menu with unique options. All in all, will be back to try more of their dishes.

My husband ordered delivery recently and I really enjoyed their boneless wings. They seem larger and more like tender-consistency than other places like BWW. The garlic Parmesan rub was so very good. The snobby Q BBQ sauce was alright. We also had pretzel bites. They were tasty and the cheese a little spicy. I'm interested to try more flavors and see if this should be our new wing spot!

The bartender was making a lady an alcoholic drink in a big water bottle, that she brought into the bar with her. Unsanitary. We got our drinks immediately from one bartender but she left. The bartenders ignored us for over an hour. Once the other girl came by she asked "are yall done?". Not do yall need anything or how was the drink and food. Just "are yall done?" Her attitude sucked! I can't imagine what's going on in that kitchen. The drink I had was good.

Their menu seems quite extensive, so I'm interested to try other items. I ordered the Happy Jalapeño burger, cheese curds, Garlic Parmesan fries, Mac n cheese bites, Italian beef egg rolls, and my husband had the Pickler burger. We like to order big when trying a new place! My favorite thing was the garlic parm fries - absolutely delicious! The burger was quite tasty as well. Definitely seemed like real beef (when compared to other cheap fast food joints). I liked the Italian Beef egg rolls: they were crunchy and much more like a traditional Chinese egg roll than I expected. A little spicy with the giardianiera. The Mac n cheese bites were meh and the cheese curds weren't all that great either. They both might have been tastier if they were still hot by the time I got them home. I would definitely try this place again. I heard the cashier mention a rewards program. Their prices are comparable to Culvers or Five Guys, but seems worth it.

We also tried the cauliflower wings in both Buffalo Garlic and Honey BBQ, and they were quite good with great flavor. The Buffalo Parmesan fries had delicious flavor, though they would have been even better a bit crispier. I really appreciate that they offer several vegan options. If you like Beyond burgers, you'll have plenty to choose from here. Between the soups, salads, wings, and gourmet burgers, there's truly something for everyone. Already looking forward to going back--those desserts (chocolate cake, carrot cake, and chocolate shakes) look absolutely scrumptious!
