Tonight i tried ordering on the app. It told me the wait was 15 to 21 minutes but then was turned off at the Peoria location. I tried calling and the phone message dated today. The message said the website was still active, but this location turned off orders for their location. After a 20 min drive, the lady abruptly told me any order would be 45 minutes. This would have been averted with any of the above. I have been here many times. Unfortunately, it was my last. As I previously stated, customer service done poorly reduces the choices I have. Employees are very rude. Placed an order for carry out, got home and realized I was missing 1 order of wings. Called the restaurant immediately and was advised I needed to bring the ENTIRE order back (after it was already unpacked). Employee/manager then decided to DIG THROUGH my bag of food to verify that I was missing 1 order of wings & then THREW the bag back at me and said that they would remake the 1 missing order of wings. They have arguably some of the best boneless wings in Peoria. Located in the Metro Centre, it always looks so quiet and deserted from the outside. But it is always bustling with carry-out orders inside. They have amazing fries here that taste especially good when they are fresh and if you ask for extra seasoning on top. They take a long time so be prepared to wait if you are eating in. There are TVs with sport channels on, free wi-fi, and the dining area is generally clean. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they have boneless wings for 60 cents. Complaints: no trash cans and the service is horrible bordering on rude. You can order your meal a half-hour ahead of time, and you could show up and still wait for another half-hour. The cashiers and cooks look exhausted and tired, and they do not hide their frustration of being short-staffed during busy hours. They can still cook some mean chicken though. The BEST place for wings around. Used to be a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings - no more. We have tried a variety of sauces - many very good, but our favorite is lemon pepper bone-in wings. The fries are AMAZING - especially considering I am not a "potato" person. Service is excellent - only problem is there may be a wait for dine-in tables. I visited Wingstop for the first time ever today. Apparently there was an unhappy customer on the phone and all 3 of the employees took turns being rude to her. So unprofessional. Because of the drama I had to ask for our drink cups after we were rung up and the ketchup was empty and I had to ask for it to be refilled. Then as I sat at our table I noticed a huge puddle under my chair which I hope was water. At one point the employee that had made this customer so upset 5 days ago (no one had ever dealt with it) happened to stop in and confirmed that he remembered the woman calling about her burnt food. We started eating and the food was pretty good but who should walk in but the furious customer and launched into a tirade that lasted 5 minutes. And the manager had the nerve to ask the woman why she didn't look at her food before she left. She made the situation 100x worse. I made another stop on my way home and told the woman helping us about the bad experience we just had. And she asked if it was the Wingstop on Glen and said she knew the woman who manages it and said she's familiar with her attitude. Never going back. The wings are good, the service not so much. I stopped in with a coupon from the 2015-2016 Peoria Dining Tour Book, and they would not accept it. They said it should have been removed from the book. Well, it was not, was before the printed expiration, and this problem they have is not my fault. I probably would not have gone if it wasn't for the coupon, so this ended up being free advertising for them. Hopefully this helps out anyone plans to go with a coupon similar. The manager (I'm assuming the lady who rang me up was the manager) did not offer anything as reconciliation for this mistake (a dollar or two off maybe?), and is a big reason I'm writing this review. The food was alright, decent wings - I had Parmesan Garlic and Mango Habanero, both of which would be on my list to get in the future (if I go back). The Parmesan Garlic did not skimp on the Parmesan, and the Mango Habanero had some decent spice with a good amount of sweetness. In the end, I doubt I'll be back and if I'm in the mood for Chicken / Buffalo Wings, I'll probably go to World of Wings near Bradley University (better food, and much better service). read more

I went to Wingstop last night 9/1/2016 around 9:30pm..usually don't have a problem with this place go their regularly as it is convenient for late night dining in Peoria but yesterday the changed my perspective after having a long day of work and school all I wanted was to eat my food and relax....I had phoned in my order ordering 2 10piece meals both honey bbq...when I got home I had one 10piece honey bbq and one 10piece buffalo...of course I called telling them about their mistake....the manager Chris was very rude I had to plead my case that I did not order buffalo wings....after about 3mins or so going back and forth with him...he finally says I can bring the wings back for replacement...I informed him I had a long day and that would be an inconvenience to me so I attempted to get my name in the books or half off next time I came in. He rudely says that they don't do that and that I could bring back the wings tomorrow even and get them replaced REALLY???...its like seriously what are you gonna do besides just throw them in the garbage I'm assuming (hopefully they wouldn't resell day old wings). I asked him for the district manager or franchise owners name didn't want to give it to me once he did he just said their going to tell you the same thing....so my advice if you decide to dine here is CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE BUILDING....or they wont replace your meal unless you don't mind having to drive back to get it replaced......I wont be ordering from here again...they use to be good but now it just seems they could really care less about the food their putting out. read more

I've been there twice, both times with a friend we'll call Gassy Mask. The first time we went, I was immediately worried about the size of the room and about how high the man behind the counter was. Looking back, his Highness (as I've decided to call him), was probably the guy making the wings. The woman who took our order looked extremely scared and was mildly judgmental about how long we took figuring out their kind of confusing menu. Gassy Mask got chicken strips with barbecue sauce and I got the "original" flavor hot wings, which was between "mild" and the spiciest flavor on their spicy-ness scale. It then took a million years for them to make it, then two million years for the food to cool off to a safe temperature (meaning not molten lava). While we waited for our food to cool off, we both got what I always imagined chemical burns feeling like in our eyes, nostrils, and tonsils from the ridiculously spicy fumes from my hot wings. My eyes hurt for the rest of the day and my nostrils burned for about two days afterwards. When I finally gathered the courage within me to take a small nibble of the death lumps, they weren't even spicy. They had no taste to them. Gassy Mask's barbecue sauce was spicier and their barbecue flavored wings were waaayyyy lower on their spicy-ness scale than my "original" wings. The meat was fine, and their chicken tenders were pretty good, but that's pretty hard to mess up. What about everything else though? It's gotta have a good environment if i's really that bad. Nope. They have a depressing facade of napkins in the form of a toilet paper roll of sadness shared by everyone in the tiny closet of a restaurant. Nothing extraordinarily nifty like Buffalo Wild Wings' wet wipes, which allow you to leave with dignity instead of leaving with embarrassing red stains around your mouth and on the tips of your fingers like a vampire pterodactyl. So after we came to terms with all this, we noticed there was no trash can. So when we finished weeping into our cancer wings, we decided to just ask what to do with our trash, as dumb as that sounds to the employees. They told us to place our trash trays on the counter next to the almost useless paper towel roll. We were the only people there besides another couple that left before us, deciding reluctantly to just leave their trash where they had been sitting. So then the second time, I got chicken tenders, and so did Gassy Mask. We weren't as disappointed this time because we knew, sort of, what to expect. Gassy Mask only wanted to go back because he liked that there are planes on the walls. It was all the same thing, minus the fumes from my wings, and the disappointing flavor. The food was mediocre. It was much busier this time, so the designated trash pile was a lot larger and swarming with flies this time. We both went to the restroom while we were there and being different genders, we had different experiences. My experience was fine but he said the soap dispenser in the men's room was cracked in half on the wall. What made it worse was that an employee went in after him and he came out and went straight back to cooking wings, when there's no possible way he could've washed his hands. I know this because there's a conveniently placed window to the kitchen in the seats between the bathroom and the kitchen and we were lucky enough to occupy said seats. First time trying Wingstop. Wasn't very impressed. We like saucier wings and these were pretty dry. We tried the Mild Buffalo, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, and Teriyaki. Based on their hotness scale we figured the Mild Buffalo were more like a medium, but no, they had virtually no zing. The Garlic Parmesan had lots of Parmesan which was a plus. The others were fine but again, they were not very saucy. Not having ordered there before, we didn't know the increments of the quantities we could order. They allowed us to order 45 wings for $3.49 more than the 50 wing package. They did not extend us the courtesy of pointing out the better deal of buying 50. Check with your doctor before eating here to make sure your blood pressure can handle the amount of salt you are about to digest. The mild wing sauce has little to no flavor. The parmesan garlic was so coated in parmesan it looked like a poorly applied popcorn ceiling and we all hate popcorn ceilings. I'm pretty sure the ranch dressing was made with skim milk and there are two things I hate in my life, liars and skim milk which is water lying that its milk. If I were to give this establishment one positive about the food it would be that the wings are a decent size that need a knife to cut up before taking a bite. Oh but wait! Do they have knives out and available for you to cut them in half? That would be a no. Love the ranch dip here. Wings are great bone or bonless. You need to know this is not like a buffalo wild wings for dining in but a great lunch spot or take out for dinner. The dining room is a bit small and not the most comfortable for larger groups (6 is pushing it) but we have eaten here with more and it works, its just not set up for heavy dining room use.
