This is the place for the chicken sandwich of your life. I had a combo with mayo and pickles, fries and a Sprite. It was cooked to perfection and as big as a small adult's hand. Everything about it was phenomenal. The fries here are seasoned very nicely, not too spicy, just right. My partner had the 10 piece chicken tenders, fries & bread combo. It is enough for 3 people or 3 meals. It is also, exceptionally delicious! They will be eating on this for days. A+++! Everything was wrapped up correctly, including using foil instead of paper to keep the chicken fresh not soggy, which is exemplary service. Today I ordered online at three piece chicken tenders meal and an egg roll. Been wanting to try the egg roll for a long time as I've seen several pictures of them. Hands down this was the best meal I've had in a long time. The chicken was tender and juicy and really portions. The fries were really good and the Egg Roll is out of this world fantastic! Went here recently for a quick bite. I'd passed Louie's a million times, but had never stopped in...oops. Went in and ordered the Chicago Philly Steak sandwich combo. The bread was a bit much (also if they maybe toasted it or heated it might be even better), but there was plentiful steak, peppers, tomatoes, and lettuce and no mayo. The meat was well seasoned and again there was a ton of it. The fries were good and crispy. Overall the food was really really good and worth the $11. Staff was friendly and professional. Only real downfall were the bathroom could have used a little work, but could have been worse. Side note- The place may have been empty, but they do a killer delivery/to go business, as when I was eating there were at least seven people who came in to pick up orders. read more

First time being here, food was amazing. Definitely get your money's worth. Service was good...since it was our first time we were slow to order. Cashier was patient with us. Location outside (people parking right outside the door) and inside were a little crowded at times but from the time we ordered and got our food within 15-20 mins. Stopped in for Italian beef and fried mushrooms. First impression....place isn't old but dinning room chairs are filthy front and back. Floor is sticky. Hopefully kitchen is clean. On to the food. The Italian Beef is one of the better ones in Peoria although the beef needs more seasoning. Or the aujus could use some seasoning It was closers to a French dip with hot peppers. The pepper blend is a little crunchy for my liking but flavor is good. The fried mushrooms......yeah don't buy those. Portion size is large but pretty close to the worst fried mushrooms I've ever purchased. No flavor....salt didn't help. Lady working the counter was very polite and upbeat so great job there. Had the sandwich been better woulda pushed me to 4 stars. Price is good and will probably give this place another go and see what I think. I've said it before and I mean it more so now than ever before.....MAKE YOUR OWN MUSHROOMS please for the love of God. It's cheaper and they will have flavor. I drove all the way here from Washington to get some chicken gizzards because I had a craving. I normally get them from Bernardi's. They aren't as good Bernardis but they were still really good! I dislike J.J.'s catfish, but I've never had their gizzards so I don't have anything to compare them to. The atmosphere is also nice in this place. They charge $1 for extra toppings which is disappointing because most other places I've been to put them on free of charge, however I am overall satisfied with my experience here. If I ever come back I will definitely try something other stuff and get more gizzards! read more

My 1st time going I went on Saturday evening and I was pleasantly surprised to see how packed it was. Always a good sigh...I ordered a box of gizzards and a order a large catfish with fries.. I was expecting along wait but to my surprise it wasn't.. The food was hot and very very good..The lady taking orders is very friendly and helpful. The catfish was sooooo good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.. They have a lot of different stuff on the menu and I look forward to trying them. Do yourself a favor and give this place a go. You won't regret it.. The food was probably the best part! They have a gyro lunch special and I requested chicken, which it doesn't specify, and she says no that's not on special. Ordered chicken gyro meal with lettuce jalapeños and side of sauce. It was $11.36 which is really pricey for something I can get from street vendor for $5. The chicken gyro was great and the fries were good. Soda was so flat and absolutely terrible! I spent $20 on two 6 piece wing meals(bone in and boneless), waited over 15 mins, specifically requested for the bone in to be fried hard and they were soft/soggy, no side of ranch or anything, but the boneless wings were cooked so hard my son could barely chew them. Once I explained to them I know how to cook and our food wasn't prepared the way I requested. The female at the drive thru window had the audacity to try and argue stating the wings were on a timer in which the timer obviously wasn't set to "fried hard" like I requested. Word of advice to the owner and his employees if a customer is requesting for their food to be prepared a certain way don't take upon yourself to prepare it the way you want because you will lose business. In fact you have lost a customer all in a matter of 30 mins. I should have know it would be a waste of $ when I was the only customer and every time I have driven past the restaurant it's the same way no matter what time of day it is which was a definite RED FLAG. This place is HORRIBLE for starters it's so ghetto and the people working there doesn't make it look any better... so to make a long story short I for one paid $30 for food I waited for in my car for 35-40 min I keep asking how long and the girl keeps saying it'll be up shortly... being I was getting dinner for my kids I didn't have any choice but to continue to wait for the food or I would've just asked for my money back then... so upon my dissatisfaction with the waiting time I then get home to realize they screwed up my order the fries were horrid and burnt and old reheated fries that mr Louie legend himself didn't want to admit.. so I then call to ask for a refund if I were to bring the food back and he decides to argue with me telling me how great his food is etc... so I then proceed to say well all I want is a refund and you can have your product back... he still refuses and continues to argue with me about how I'm wrong and he's not going to refund me anything... ALONG WITH SAYING HE DIDNT CARE IF I LEFT THIS REVIEW BECAUSE HE'll GET BUSINESS EITHER WAY... then hangs up...
