Tried Jr's for the first time. Went with the garlic parm wings with fries. LOVED the food! These were the best wings I've ever had hands down. I was told about the great chicken they serve. When we pulled up to park, a woman yelled us for parking too close to her, even though we were several feet away from her car. We then went into eat and were ignored by the employees and the woman came in and sat with the employees and told them that we were in a black restaurant and we should know our place and was very vocal and aggressive until we left. Needless to say it was a very disappointing visit and we were treated as if we were not accepted for our skin color. It was real a real shame. read more

I went there yesterday with a friend. I ordered 2 meat combo wings and fish and my bro oreder3d 3 piece catfish. When the food arrived there was a foul smell the fish smelled old so we sent it back. They sent us a new order. My friend smelled his fish and thought it still had an odor so he chose not to eat it at all. I couldn't tell if it was just the normal of smell of fish or not so I took a chance and ate it anyway. Needless to say, I have had diarrhea since and I know it is the food from Jr's and I should of trusted my friend. I will never eat there again, besides from getting sick, the location was not that clean, the gentleman raking orders was cool but he also charged me two dollars more than the price on the menu. When I asked him about it he said the prices went up, you would think that a business would take the time to update there menu or at least tell the customer prior to charging them. The gentleman cooking and serving the food looked unclean and brought the food to the table with an unfriendly demeanor, and if I hadn't got ill from the food I still would not come back because the service was not good at all. Sad thing is I am a black man and I try to patronize black businesses as a first option but this juniors place fell short in every aspect. Upon leaving I advised the gentlemen that took my order that thw food always not good and he seemed to think I was joking. Again I may have let it slide but I am literally pooping my guts out amd am dehydrated from the diarrhea this place has given me. I hope ownership and or management see this and choose to do better or shut this place down cause I did not ask for wings/chicken and a side of sickness. God bless read more

The wings are the best in Peoria because of how crispy they are. I especially recommend the Spicy Garlic and Jun Jun. Service is a tad slow, but I can forgive that for some good wings. I get my wings to go because of the loud music from inside. I want to be able to talk to the people I am sitting with. With this said, they know how to fry some dang chicken wings. read more

I had heard so much about this place & how great the food was...don't believe the hype. I will say the fries were good and the customer service was good. However the wings are so small that they know they should throw in an extra one when you get a super super tiny wing considering the prices. I paid approximately $32.00 for two kid meals and two eight piece wing dinners. Then to see how small the wings are and to have a super super tiny wing count as one I was not happy. One of the kid meals was wrong but I was too exhausted to even call them. Next time a restaurant is hyped up I'll only spend $10 or less so I just won't be giving away $$$$ I would have been really fired up if I had made a special trip from Normal just for those tiny wings that cost more than what I receive from my pension check. read more

For some reason today of all days Jr's is jumpin! It's busy but the staff is friendly and even when the wanna catch a attitude it's something about they vibe where they know it's a chicken spot.... u either wait or u don't! My food is always amazing and the fries are like a hidden treasure!!! I appreciate the service and the patience of the staff... Ok so I enjoy the chicken strips and the fries are yummy but was born and raised in south Louisiana so I do wish they would have spicier options but I LOVE their fried okra. It's definitely a little bit of home that you couldn't believe how much I appreciate!! I will be trying other items on the menu and definitely ordering more okra:) read more
