I got to my AIRBNB later than I would've preferred, that's not their fault, but it is why I went there for a bite since most places nearby were closed. The manner in which the manager at #wingstop in Hollywood, Florida treated me, still astounds me as I type this. I have been an Uber Eats and Doordash driver for more than two years. I have outstanding testimonials from clients and eateries. As a driver, I constantly travel while delivering food to consumers. When I picked up a large order from @wingstop this specific time, I asked the manager if I could fill my empty water bottle with water from their dispenser. "NO" was her response. In disbelief I reminded her that I do deliveries all the time from their business. She said, "I don't care, that's your work," to my comment that you see me here every day. More like a 2 1/2 star place. The wings were actually pretty good and the original hot sauce was one of the better sauces that I have had. However, the wings are way too small. These wings are considerably smaller than any other place that I have eaten at. They really need to make the wings bigger in size. I also feel that the extra upgrade to a large drink wasn't worth it. Their large size seems like it is the regular/medium size of other restaurants. The restaurant itself was kind of a mess and several tables needed to be bussed and cleaned. They did give me a lot of fries although I did upgrade to a large size. The fries were a little soggy but not overly so. Based on the size of the wings, I probably wouldn't order from here again. Their blue cheese dressing leaves a bad (greasy and bitter) aftertaste kind of like eating crisco. The fries are another sad story! Order was ready when I arrived, just needed to get my sodas (Coke freestyle machine). WOW, those were great. Boneless wings lightly breaded, hot, not greasy. Traditional were an even mix of drums and flats, hot sauce (level 8 out of 15) was hot, spicy, and tasty, and most important, wings were cooked through. Lots of places char the outside and leave the inside raw and slimy, Wingstop got them perfect. Only minus was my fault; I ordered the 15 piece pack for two of us, should have ordered more. OK so my rating here is going to need some explanation. I used to love this place. I even had a couple of events celebrated here (birthdays, work-related). At that time, the food was pretty decent. Wing flavors were awesome. The wings themselves were a little on the small side (not much meat) but they were passable. I'd usually go for the boneless wings instead, all meat and pretty tasty. But then something weird happened. Not sure if it was new management, new business policies or what. But the quality of the food dropped drastically. It started with expired bleu cheese sauces (the bleu cheese was rotten) and then the soda was old and not carbonated. Then they were hiring new employees constantly that didn't know their menu or lunch specials, which caused orders to take forever and often would get overcharged and mixed up. Then one day the chicken wasn't cooked. Like I literally bit into completely uncooked, raw chicken, with buffalo coated on it. And on top of that the bleu cheese was bad too, AND the fried were cold and stale. That was the last straw. Not only would I never recommend this place to anyone, but I will never attempt to go back here again myself. read more
