It is the wrist wing I have ever had. I had a craving one day and with a lot of expectation I went there. The sauces never became part of the chicken. Completely saltless they are. Some pieces were tiny. No extra sauce were provided or even offered or asked. You got exact what you ordered. I had take out, so no question of ambience. First time stopping in a Wingstop. This location is pretty much no frills, clearly catering to take-out rather than restaurant dining customers. There are three or four TVs tuned to sports, no sound. The three of us ordered a 24 piece combo, which came with up to three wing sauces. We chose lemon pepper, atomic, and plain (wanted to also try Hawaiian but the fourth flavor is not allowed, even if one of your three is "no flavor." Okay.) This came with fries and a generous amount of veggies, and dips - we got blue cheese, ranch, and cheese sauce (all fine -- the vaunted ranch is nothing out of the ordinary, sorry.) Add three sodas. The soda machine is a multi-flavor touch screen. I mention this because the display was so out of focus as to be almost unreadable. There was no ice (although someone did bring ice from the back and refill the dispenser, eventually.) There are no napkins, just a single roll of the cheap unperforated brown bathroom roll of paper towel you've seen it in every gas station or school restroom. One small roll for the entire dining room (six tables maybe.) We pulled off several uneven feet of it and just ripped pieces off throughout the meal. Really awkward. Our food took 40 or 45 minutes to arrive. At least it arrived hot. Dining room food is provided in the same take out bag and plastic to go containers that actual take out customers are given. No trays, nothing to cover the table. No trash cans anywhere. Our three kinds of wings were fit into two containers., so two of the flavors were put in the same container and that is really unfortunate, since one of those two was the Atomic wings, which my dining partner eating the lemon pepper wings really didn't want any part of. The wings themselves were okay, if a bit greasy (you could mop it up with the cheap paper towels from the bottom of the plastic take out container). The lemon pepper was good flavoring (dry spice). The plain ones were.... plain. Since these are not breaded wings, these were pointless -- we should have done the Hawaiian. The atomic, which are the hottest thing they have, was not especially hot. I am sure the sauce ingredient list has some sort of peppers in it maybe, but they were not overly present. The main flavor here seemed to me to be an overkill of black pepper which while spicy is neither pleasant for a chicken wing person nor noteworthy for a Hot Ones fan. The fries were great - the best thing on the table. But if the fries are the best thing, with three varieties of wings on the table, the place is not a great ride. The staff was friendly and managed the ever-flowing line of take out orders fairly well, if slowly. As for Wingstop overall, there's less to the menu and less variety but it's cheaper than BWW and Hooters, so in a pinch I guess it's fine if you gotta have wings, don't care about a long wait, and don't want cold beer to wash it down with. But I think I've checked the box on this one. Moving on. read more

I absolutely love Wingstop! All the flavors are delicious and I especially go for the boneless wings. They are 70 cents a piece so 10 wings for $7, you can't beat that. Their corn is also super delicious and the seasoned fries are also yummy. I always order via their app and pick up. They are never on time but always so busy. Friendly folks whenever I go there. I've been in twice and both times numerous customers including myself have had altercations with this man. Very rude and disrespectful to his customers. So I went and ordered lemon pepper wings the other night. There wasn't anyone at the cash register at first to take my order, the employees were at the back talking. I waiting about 5mins before someone spoke. I ordered 8 lemon pepper wings, that's it, it came to over $10. Ok. I ordered them to go and I was hungry so as soon as I got home I went to dig in. They were hot but I didn't taste any lemon nor pepper on those wings and there was enough grease at the bottom of the package to fry up another set of wings. If I wanted plain wings then they would have been great. This is not the first fail I've had at a Wing Stop and this is so disappointing bc I really wanted to like them. And I'm not a fan of Wing Zone either but I love a good lemon pepper wing! The only place I've thoroughly enjoyed the lemon pepper wings is Wing Command in Midlothian but it's so far from my house! Literally the best wings I've ever had in my life. The wings were very fresh, hot, and flavorful. The mango habanero seasoning is the best and I recommend it to everyone. I ordered deliver from their website. The process was simple and quick. The food was delivered by door dash ahead of schedule. The delivery person did contactless delivery as I asked. That's we're the good ended. The food was all completely cold. Now I understand things are hard right now and I understand the wings and fries won't be out of the fryer hot. Absolutely awful, online order took an extra 20 minutes of waiting and during that wait I got to see the absolute worst example of food preparation hygiene I've ever seen. The bowls used to toss the wings are reused constantly without wash and none of the staff makes an effort to wear gloves or wash hands. I'm not quite sure if it's Wing stops fault at all however the butter, god the butter, so much butter on every wing and tender it made me sick. They delivery lady called DoorDash's customer service and was told that I must call Wingstop because they only deliver the food. I called Wingstop and was told to call DoorDash or they can give me a soda the next time I order. Hadn't had Wingstop in a while since the hype first started and this was my first time ordering from this location. I used the app to order my food while I was on my lunch break. I saw that the app offered $.60 boneless wings and that they had some limited time new flavors so I decided to try the Boneless Bayou BBQ wings. It took me between 12-15 mins to get to the location from the time I completed my order from the app. When I walked into the store I was greeted by the cashier and I told her I was there to pick up an online order. My order was already ready and packed up and I was on my way in less than a minute. The wings were cooked and seasoned well and I'm sure taste exactly how they were meant to but I personally wasn't a big fan of the Bayou BBQ flavor. Wasn't distasteful or anything just not a flavor that "wow'd" me. All in all I will be back to try a different sauce/seasoning flavor. read more

Stopped by Wingstop while out running errands to grab some lunch. Was excited because I've heard wings here are bomb do I was really looking forward to trying them. Ordered the 8 piece (4 Old Bay/4 garlic parmesan) which came also with fries and got a side of blue cheese. I limit carbs so I tasted the fries and they were nothing special. Wings tasted ok, I liked the fact they are naked and only coated with sauce choice. Order was hot and I could slightly taste the garlic parmesan ones. What really made this visit incredibly unpleasant was the manager pulling staff from the back, into the dining room to fire him I guess. Hard to tell because it was such a long drawn out conversation, too long IMO, and frankly unprofessional since customers were in the dining room. Not sure how it ended because I got fed up and left, feeling like the wings and service need improvement. Tried Wingstop for the first time recently and I was actually quite impressed with the quality of the food and service. This location opened 2 weeks ago and is located in the strip of shops near the Kroger off Staples Mill Road. Taylor took our order and was patient with us as well as informative as it was our first time at this restaurant. Lots of size options to choose from which was nice to accommodate for our family needs. Wings were fresh and crispy and packed a ton of flavors for the 3 wing sauces we chose. Keep in mind it takes about 15-20ish minutes for your order because they prepare it all fresh. You can order ahead and pick up or download the app to order. They said the app allows you to track points for future deals and discounts. Nice to have a place in the area with solid wings. We will be back! read more

Wingstop has a pretty good scam going on at the Staples Mill road location in Henrico, VA. When you order online for delivery they do not tell you that Door Dash is actually bringing the food. You will find out after purchasing the food. These guys also ask for the tip upfront when placing the order which is one thing that also irritates me. I prefer to tip when I get the order because timeliness is one consideration. If they screw up, you get to play a game calling Door Dash and Wingstop back & forth, only to be told that neither company will issue credit for missing food.
