Kids loved the corn dogs! I loved the swarma fries! The cheesy crab fries were good too but I probably would not get that again since I would prefer to have something like that on the side of my fries not topped on them. I had ordered from Yelp "full menu", it is not the full menu though. They had desserts on the board in there and possibly more items. The inside is small and I just ran in to pick up. It's nice to have the option to sit but I imagine it gets real crowded at peak times. This food was banging and will definitely be back. read more

Ordered takeout online and my food was ready when estimated. Street parking so difficult to find a (legal) parking spot. Food was still hot and steamy after the 6-minute drive home. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The leftover fries reheated well in the air fryer. Great spot for some low vibrational good grub. Thank the Fry Gods that DBF is 4 minutes from my house. I wondered how a restaurant could be based on fries and now I'm a believer. I ordered online for in store pick up and was able to track my order which I really liked. As soon as I walked in I was hit with such an amazing smell. The inside is very clean and nicely decorated. I was instantly greeted when I walked up to the counter and the food was ready when I got there. Everything was packed up so nicely. I love the box the mozzarella sticks came in and the bag with the logo is a very nice touch. Very cutesy very thoughtful. With a four min commute back home everything traveled very well and stayed warm. Star of the show of course is the fries but the wings were also AMAZING, I should've gotten 10 instead of 5. Now back to the main attraction the fries.. almost got lost in the sauce. Every inch of the container is covered, not a single fry was dry. The popcorn chicken paired perfectly with the fries. As a popcorn chicken fan I was pleased to see it on the menu. Definitely a good bang for your buck, we couldn't finish the fries (two people). Everything reheated very well in the air fryer the next day and tasted just as good. This will now be our go to wing place! I can't wait to try more of their fry creations!! read more

You can walk up to the monitor to order your food or see the person at the register. It was visibly busy so we already expected a long wait time. While we waited we walked down Brookland Park & checked out other businesses. We waited about 35 minutes for our food. They were kind enough to give me complimentary drinks for the long wait. Cute little spot with 5 tables to eat in. While they have an ordering kiosk, you can order at the register also. The staff at the front was very nice and attentive. The fries were really loaded with flavorful ingredients. The appetizers were a meal in themselves. It's a lot of food so consider bringing someone to share with. read more

1st time guests, we ordered at the window and the cashier was friendly and shared his favorites! Our Pepsi was on the house since our 1st visit, really nice touch! I ordered the bang bang bacon ranch and my husband ordered Buffalo style, food was made to order and so flavorful! Sister took me here and it did not dissapoint! I had the cajun fries after seeing how good the bang bang fries my sister got were. When you go in, I loved seeing the neon lights and cool graphics painted on the wall. Cute spot and really nice workers. I heard plenty about this place. Folks online raved about it. I can't say that I share the sentiment. This particular evening they didn't have the lamb and that's the whole reason I had came (no pause) but I was there I figured I've give the chicken shawarma a go, I could have went without. I'd like to suggest to all establishments putting anything over fries, use crinkle or steak because then shoestring taste just like that, shoestrings soggy ones too. Now I ain't saying I've ate shoestrings but if I had to guess, it would probably be damn close. The cashier was pleasant, ordering was easy and the place was tidy, not clean but tidy. It was plenty black folks in there and I'm black so it's okay for me to say it. The more I thought about it though, the more unsettling it became that we all were at "Die by Fry" probably doing just that cause wasn't any of the "others" in there. They must know better.... Damn. Anyway, feel free to try your hand maybe you'll have better luck but as for me, I'll pass. read more

first time trying this place and it was SOO good. the food was amazing. service was great. walked in and was offered a sample of their new desert, which was delicious. we were also given complimentary drinks, as we were first time guests. the wait wasn't long, even though there were several people ahead of us. the portions were pretty big, and i definitely couldn't finish my meal. my only complaint would be the music. it totally fits the vibe of the restaurant, but it's a little bit overwhelming. it seems video game themed - and I definitely felt like I was in one. it's just not music I want to sit down and eat to. overall a great place with great service and food. 9.99/10 read more
