The last couple times have not been the same (new people working) 5 tables were covered in garbage and ice machine was out of ice. I love eating at Wingstop but this location has really turned me off to the franchise. It's a big red flag when a cloud of fruit flys hovers around the soda machines/condiment station. The food service is really inconsistent, I've been in 4 or 5 times and the wings are either over cooked and under sauced (to the point of not even having sauce) or just dry. And the employees tend to not really give a crap, attitude at cashier and then on busy night our food sat in a Togo bag and got cold before I finally went up to ask about my food. During my visit to the Gresham Location of Wingstop this evening (5-3-20), there was a slip-up with my order. I had placed the order via phone, as the restaurant was closed due to the "stay home" order given by the Governor. The restaurant was very busy, with many customer waiting outside for their order. Given the fact that all these new policies and procedures would have a bit of learning curve for all involved (customers and employees), I was not surprised nor upset that my order somehow got lost in the mix. That is when BJ stepped in. He was very apologetic, polite, and eager to retake my order, and get it prepared with top priority. Pretty dissatisfied. I got the 8 classic wings with fries. 4 wings with habenaro mango sauce that tasted way more fruity than expected. Wild wings version is way better. This was just too sweet. Can't play it safe with this sauce you gotta make it spicy. The other 4 were teriyaki. This again was way too sweet. I get these 2 flavors at bww and they pair great with bleu cheese dip. But the dip at wing stop has almost no tangy bleu flavor to it, just more of a sweet mayo type flavor. Didnt finish 2 of the teriyaki as it just wasn't good. The fries were good in a weird way. They use a seasoning salt of some kind that is hard to describe. It's not bad but also not great. It just is what it is. Had nacho cheese to dip fries. Was pretty bland cheese sauce, no spice. Another guest with me got the hot buffalo flavor sauce for her wings and absolutely hated it. I thought she was just being a weiner since she can be picky. But I tried it and my lord it was gross. Tasted like some kind of mixture of a poorly executed knock off franks, liquid margarine, and an obscene amount of malt vinegar. A shameful wing sauce. I apologized to my fellow guest for not believing them when they said it was gross. You should have seen the color of this sauce. A weird radioactive pinkish hue. The chicken on it's own is fine. I decided to stop in one day as I was in the area and starving. I met the manager, Javonn I believe his name is, very nice guy! He gave me the run down of the menu and a recommendation. I ended up ordering the 10 piece traditional wings half lemon pepper and half/teriyaki I believe was the other flavor. I also got their French fries and house ranch. Ok, straight fire!! Those wings were on point. I'm a chicken wing lover, I usually have them at least once at any restaurant we frequent until I find favorites. These are up there! Hot, fresh, extra crispy, chicken fully cooked, perfect amount of seasoning. They had a fantastic crunch, the sauce wings were perfect, not overly sauced or under! We stopped coming into this location over a year ago because the wings were never consistent sometimes it was super soggy and drenched in sauce and sometimes it didn't have enough sauce and the fries were always soggy even when we asked for extra crispy. But these last couple times we've been here the food quality has been on point. The fries were perfectly crispy and well seasoned and came out super hot. We are never disappointed with the food! It's always fresh and when I order online it is always ready when I go to pickup. However I have mixed emotions on the staff at this location. They're all typically friendly and one employee actually offered to remake my whole order because it had been sitting awhile (I was late picking it up). This place was a nightmare. All the tables were dirty when we came in, multiple guests had to clean there own tables of crumbs and garbage. A gal complained of her chicken not being cooked enough and instead of the staff taking it seriously they told her she was wrong and that there was no way that it could be undercooked. The window facing the kitchen was covered in speckles of sauce that hadn't been cleaned off in god knows how long. The staff were acting very unprofessional in the kitchen, being very loud by banging pots and kitchen equipment around. Will never come here again. Due to the fact that I just got done ordering 40 wings and they tell me that I need to pay for the blue cheese dipping sauce. I JUST ORDERED 40 WINGS?!! And then they tell me that I can't have any dipping sauce because I didn't get it in a combo and that's company policy??!!....
