Here is why I gave Wingstop four stars instead of five: I thought you can dine inside the place instead of ordering to go. I am sorry that I did not give a five star rating. Now to my review on Wingstop in El Cerrito. A good place to order a sandwich with fries and drink. I got plenty of fries which was hard to finish. I did enjoy the sandwich that I ordered. It tasted good! read more

I think it would be appropriate to change the name to 'Stop Wing!' Jamie W and I were recently having the late night munchies when we found ourselves in El Cerrito Plaza of all places. While we considered Dave's Hot Chicken, a proven chain to us and open until midnight, we weren't feeling quite that gluttonous. Having never tried Wingstop and since it was open late, we thought wings might do us. We ordered the $15.59 10-Wing Mix & Match Combo. Jamie picked Mango Habanero (Photo 9), and I chose Lemon Pepper (Photo 7). The mango habanero was gloopy and overly sweet for a supposedly spicy mouthful, but the absolute worst was the lemon pepper which tasted like they spilled an entire salt shaker on them. The congealed ranch dressing didn't help. Stop Wing! FOOD - 1 star...pretty much inedible AMBIANCE - 2 stars.. well, you can sit and wait here SERVICE - 3 stars...the young female server was nice enough TOTAL - 1 star...well, Dave's is open late RELATED - Exploring El Cerrito? I'm honestly pretty shocked at all of the terrible reviews here. I've placed several orders at this location already and every time I went to pick up, they were always very friendly and cordial. The orders themselves have always been correct, and the drumsticks and wings always made well and very delicious. read more

I wish this Wingstop was closer to our house. They always make the well done fries the way it's supposed to be done. We usually order from the Pinole location, but the fries always come out soggy. Our order was finished on time and the sales associate was all smiles! The place was clean and orderly as there's no indoor dining here. We got home in 6 minutes as there was no traffic. The wings were hot, flavorful and good! Our go to is spicy Korean and lemon pepper. We may have to start ordering from here and just be patient with the usual traffic. read more

I don't like the concept of not involving napkins!! Especially when you're eating something very saucy! That's just ridiculous.....

The wings were terrible, they had purple and red slime on the bones(some one please tell me what causes this) The best part of the combo was the veggie sticks I wish I would have taken photos!!! read more

OK, let me start off with the good the Wingstop in San Leandro in the target shopping center used to be the bomb. It was so good. Haven't had it in a long time. AnyWho, I went to the one in El Cerrito in the shopping plaza. I just wanted some of their fries cause that's I just remember how good they were very disappointed that they didn't have the spry seasoning it was they're just I was I was mad. I wasted my money. I think I paid like six bucks for them and not good at all so not sure if I'd recommend recommended. I didn't have the chicken somebody else can comment on that but those the price are really bad so it's probably gonna be a no for me. read more

Great people, amazing service I go here all the time and love everything, the only reason it's a 4 star is cause the Louisiana Vodoo fries are a bit inconsistent, not every time I get the same amount of the seasonings and sauces other than that they are great! read more

The wings and fries were so over-salted we had to trash most of it away. We get that fast food isn't known for being shy on the sodium, but this was some next level sh!t -- and that wasn't a compliment. The two of us could barely finish a third of the order of large fries, garlic-parmesan wings, and lemon-pepper wings. Actually we barely had about a quarter of the fries. Luckily, the chicken tenders for our little one was salted at "normal" levels so at least one tummy didn't go all empty and cranky. It was such a shame to waste all that food. And very annoying to practically "trash" money away. Going forward, if it's convenient-chicken time, it's going to be Krispy Krunchy, Popeye's or, heck even KFC, but Wingstop has taken our money for the last time. PS: We did finish the carrot wedges. Thanks a lot! read more

I've never had a bad experience here always well cooked and seasoned food along with good service. Thank you

I'll be ordering Uber Eats for a long time and every time the wings are always super dry I actually don't recommend this store

My family and I wanted chicken wings and decided to order from Wing stop. This particular location always has wings that is freshly made, their food in general is always fresh and flavorful compared to other locations that we have ordered from. I ordered online and chose delivery. I ordered the atomic wings, which is SUPER spicy but very good. If you think you can handle pepper, you should definitely try these wings.... You might regret it....but in a good way We also had the Louisiana rub which is very good and flavorful. It's not spicy at all, it's just a herb blend but very flavorful. Overall, I would say that everything was a 4/5 stars. read more

I've called this wing stop 3 time to place an order. The first time, they put me on hold for 10 mins. The last two times they hung up on me. I get it! You guys wanna leave early, clean and get out. Terrible service. If you're open til Midnight you should be able to call in at least an hour before and place an order. Terrible. 12/30/24 11:19pm read more

How is this location still open? It's filthy, disorganized, did I say filthy? There's trash everywhere and I witnessed some very unsanitary actions by the workers. I wouldn't eat here, especially after watching a worker on the fryer wipe dripping sweat from his forehead, scratch his face, then prepare someone's food WITH NO GLOVES! After seeing this, I turned around, walked out the door and vowed to NEVER enter again. Yuck! read more

Update is over due. Wingstop as a whole has gone way down hill since the pandemic. Like almost all other "fast food" businesses their quality and service is awful. Food takes forever. Whether you order there or on line it's always cold. The wings are cooked frozen so the bones are cemented together and can't be pulled apart (flats people). Gets drier every time I go. So now, I order some thigh bites. Not sure what's in an order so I get a regular one. After all, cooking a chicken thigh until it's dry is almost impossible. Low and behold I received a large mound of less than 1" pieces of dry mealy chicken breast. Should have known. The once coveted chicken breast is now tenders and boneless wings (uh chickens only have 2 tenders..and chicken wings have bones) as well as boneless thighs. It's bad enough that I can't find whole wings in the store. I even understand why fresh wing parts are the most expensive part of the bird. But just because science has given the chicken a humongous breast that doesn't mean you can trick ne into eating it! Save your money read more

Ordered at this location for the first time online. It said 16-21 minutes after I placed my order that it would be ready for pick up. Sure enough, 20 minutes later I came in and my order was packaged up and ready to go. Pros: -online ordering is accurate -60 cents boneless wings on Mondays -the inside looked nice and clean. They should rename to Drumstop. You would think that if you ordered "wings" from Wingstop, you might get at least one in your order. I did not. The boneless "wings" I got were tiny, and poor quality. I got 2 small pieces of what it's supposed to look like, and thankfully they gave me more than just 2 of the tiny crisp things, but still. If i could give this hell hole a zero out of ten i would. i drove 20 mins to pick up these wings and it came with a FEATHER, a full bird feather in our food. god knows how they clean their chicken if they can't even buy chicken properly defeathered. as if this wasn't rancid enough, we called in and they told us to drive back another 20 mins to show them as proof. mind you they did not tell us any information about how to get a full refund besides bring the chicken (the feathered one we are calling about) in. we arrived with the chicken and feather in a box after having thrown away the rest of the chicken, and this rude cashier woman refused to give us a refund insisting she needed the whole order to issue any type of refund. we were NOT told this at all over the phone before driving 20 mins there and they still stood their ground refusing to give us a refund. this cheap, unprofessional distasteful behavior is embarrassing and everyone should take their business elsewhere. read more

My daughter ordered the 6piece combo with fries and a drink. The person who took her order Akshay told her it would be a 15-20 min wait. When she came back in to get her order she failed to check the bag (her bad). As we were just getting home she checked and realized the fries were not in the bag. She called Wingstop hoping to be able to go back and get them however when she called the employee who says they are also the manager was very rude and combative with her (call was on speaker so I listened). The employee / manager would not even acknowledge that it was possible they forgot the fries. After several minutes of going back and forth my daughter told them to keep the fries and that she won't be back. Do better with your future customers Wing Stop. read more

Never had a bad experience here until tonight:((( workers are very nice and the food is normally great but my gf and I ordered the new meltdown and crunch time wings. They looked nothing like all the TikTok's and advertisements. I'm not sure if this is just an unlucky order or if the workers tonight were maybe in a rush or undertrained. Overall very very sad looking wings. We expected the crunch time wings to be wet just like the lemon pepper and hot honey rub normally are but you could taste more plain wing than anything. Same with the Meltdown. Meltdown had no Cajun and I honestly couldn't spot a spec of garlic Parm. Sucks you can't get a refund for something since we already at some. read more

As soon as I walked in I noticed an employee holding fries and putting it into the bag with no gloves. I ordered online and asked for extra seasoning on my fries and they had NO seasoning. I asked for classic hot wings and my wings had NO sauce. My lemon pepper wings also had barely any seasoning and drowning in oil. And to top it off my sprite tasted like sink water for some reason. I rarely like to eat out cause of inflation but I didn't feel like cooking so I placed an order online. I was so disappointed that I spent $18 on a meal I couldn't even enjoy. I barely took a few bites and had to throw the rest out. read more

Avoid at all costs. My mobile order was missing half of the wings so we called to see what happened and they admitted that they gave the delivery driver only one of two bags. Instead of sending someone over with the rest of the food, they told us to drive over to pick up the food even though we paid for delivery, tipped, and this was their mistake. Why would I drive to their location after paying for delivery? I've called many times for a refund and the manager says they aren't authorized to give one and the owner will have to. Convenient for them, the owner is never there when I call and I've left my phone number for them to call me with a refund- I've received no call from anyone at their store. I've already contacted my credit card for a chargeback. read more

We entered the store around noontime on a cloudy weekend. The areas was mostly filled with high school teenagers and young couples. We ordered the original hot wings because this was our first time to visit and some fries (regular). I got a little confused with how the menu was written because it displayed combos for lunch and dinner, so I wasn't sure how to order single orders. Plus, I typically don't order a drink because we prefer drinking water. Regardless, we decided to order the combo with the chicken (two flavors), fries, and a drink - which ended up me asking for a bottle of water. I was pleased with the original hot because it was a mix of hot and sour. It was not so spicy that I was constantly drinking water on every bite. The fries were good too; crispy on the edges and not so salty. I did notice that there were no trashcans in the restaurant, so I wasn't sure what to do after I ate. Previous customers before me also didn't know, so they left their eaten food on the table. I wasn't able to see the sign on where to drop off the used trays, so I would like to see that clearer. Overall, I liked the first visit. It would be a quick lunch time snack because of a light quantity in ratio of price. I might visit again to try the bone-in chicken. read more

I 100% acknowledged that this wingstop was 2 stars before I even went in. I haven't eaten in wingstop in over 2 years because it's always just a problem with the order or the fries are hella soggy or the wings are boneless instead of bone-in. I went last night & I ordered 20 wings all bone-less cause I was in a rush. No LIE 5th wing in of that honey bbq dry rub, I felt like I was gonna puke and fatigue out and for real all night at work I thought an elephant was spraying out my whole a** (shout out to dude wipes). I made it through, but I had to fasho mentally prepare myself to get through it and not call out. 100% solidified me as a wingstop HATER & as a bonafide 2 star restaurant. Do not bring your lady here unless you're trying break up or want to find out if she's just bs'n talking about she KNOWS what good food is. Air fry your own wings and smoke them. Cheaper healthier and you won't feel like a bong is smoking you for being hungry. not sorry at all wasted $20 forre read more

I ordered garlic parmesan and lemon garlic pepper. The food was great. I ordered online and my order was made efficiently. Seemed like high school students were mainly dining in. Wingstop is a staple. Not sure why all the bad reviews. Yes it's a chain. But it is what it is. It's affordable and good for the family every couple months. Of course not the best wings in the world, but it's also $40 to feed 4 people. read more

I ordered online I was expecting 16 wings when I opened my order there was only 10. I called to get a refund I was told by the person on the phone to bring my card in person in order to get my refund. Once I got there I was told I had to wait for the manager. The manager then proceeds to tell me I need to bring the food yet on the phone I asked if I needed to bring the food and they said only the card was needed. I wasted $26 for 10 wings this absolutely unacceptable. At first they refused to give me refund because I did not have the food with me yet I was told to bring my card. They finally budged and said I would get a refund in two-three days yet two weeks later I have not received my refund. First of all the ambiance was appalling and the service from the workers were very rude. There was no one in the establishment, I was first in line to order and did not get my food until 30 mins. Wings were subpar. The fries were way over salted. Their definition of spicy is laughable. You can order the hottest wings... Trust me they are definitely not spicy. This is not a spot to sit down and eat either. They removed all the tables and chairs. You can't even use the restroom - it's for employees only. Came to this wingstop when I was in the area and craving it one day. I've been to this location a few times over the years and it's usually as typical as the other wingstop restaurants.. I always order the same thing 10 Piece Combo: Cajun bone in & Atomic boneless with Fries, drink and two ranch dressings. The restaurant is fairly small, it was clean and tables were blocked off with the appropriate social distancing markings on the floors.. when I arrived there were a few people waiting for their orders ahead of me.. I placed my order and waited.. when I received my order the woman repeated back to me, but once I got to my car and opened the bag I had all boneless wings.. I took it back inside they fixed it, the cashier apologized, told me to keep the boneless wings & asked if I wanted more fries and another beverage. My latest experience with this location was good. read more

Food: Wings tasted fine. Service: The worst service I've ever encountered. I was scoffed at for asking for my drink because they forgot to give me one. The worst part was that there were two young black girls who were ignored the entire time by the staff. Nonetheless, everyone will receive below average customer service. read more

People can sure get all high and mighty when they review a fast food chicken wing place. "The table was dirty!" "I had to wait ten minutes for my food." "The girl at the register was so Ruuude!" "There are stinky homeless dudes at the mall." Jeez, people, a fried chicken joint at the mall ain't exactly the Ritz, so what the heck are you expecting? Our family likes it just fine for gorging on wings and fries. The employees are friendly and the food is attentively prepared. You get whatever whack sauce or dry rub you order, and the food looks like it could have come out of the corporate training manual. What the freaking else could you want from a fast food wing shop at the mall? Another thing we like - on display there is a document with the corporate name of the owners: "Two Singhs Have Wings." Indeed, they do! read more
