Wow! This staff is the epitome of ineptitude! The young lady that takes the orders is very bad at customer service. She hasn't got a clue about how to use common sense with her job. We came in and ordered a 20 piece of wings and some fries. While sitting there I saw them mishandle about 3 orders. There was a person who ordered online 3 hours before and it still wasn't ready! They called out an order for someone who wasn't there (or so we thought) and just sat it there to get cold. Well that was my order and she had called out the wrong name. A little common sense would have led her to just say hey didn't you order a 20 piece with fries? But noooo.. it just sat there until 20 more minutes go by and we ask where the hell our order is and she says, i don't know. is this it? And on top of all that, the wings weren't even very good. Figured I'd try Wing Stop for the first time today on my lunch hour. I used the don't wait in line, call ahead for pick up feature on the website. I ordered online and scheduled my pickup for an hour later. 8 min before it's time for me to pick up my order, as I'm en route to their location, they call me and say they're out of mild sauce and garlic parm sauce which are both what I ordered...I just told them to refund my order as nothing else on the menu appealed to me. I was never offered anything to compensate for the inconvenience on my lunch hour. I was told it would take 7 business days for a refund to appear on my card. They technically close at midnight, but they deny you service if you arrive and attempt to make an order about 30 minutes before close. I get that the order may be a little late, but lock the doors and put a sign up saying no orders after 11:30pm. Or change your close time. Robyn (Manager) and the whole staff were super friendly and fun to joke around with while I was waiting for my order. I observed happy workers which generally means happy food . Wingstop has amazing tasting wings. I always get the Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan. The Lemon Pepper isn't too salty or sour; the flavors that go into it are a good balance. The Garlic Parmesan may be too dry for some folks who aren't too into dry rubs. I know people have reviewed that about the poor customer service, but truthfully, I haven't had a single issue with their customer service. First off, these are mainly young kids working there with probably little to no working experience. Customer service takes years to master and some grow folks still haven't learned it -_- Second, for me, the food always come out hot and fresh. When it's hot and fresh like that, it's going to take some time to cook it, especially if the crowd is heavy. My biggest issue with this place is that the last couple times I've ordered from here... some side is always out! Now, I'm not sure if that's a good problem or bad problem to have. Wingstop is my number one go to for wings! This location is in Duluth near the Super H Mart. Parking is limited as the restaurant sits in a mini strip mall but there is parking around the back as well. The food is always made fresh. I tend to order the mango habanero wings with ranch dressing. They have THE BEST RANCH. I honestly can buy that stuff by the bottle. Soo delicious. Wing Stop gets 3* this time around, with hopes it will improve. The food: Wings were pretty solid, the default is just the right amount of crispy on the outside, nice and moist on the inside, very well executed for chain wings. Smaller wings, 8-9 different sauces and rubs (the Korean BBQ wasn't available because a seasonal flavor was being offered). Blue cheese dip tasted great. I was a high fan of the original hot wings and the Louisiana dry rub. The mango habanero packed a nice heat but was a bit syrupy for my tastes (not holding that against them) and the Brazilian seasonal flavor just tasted like pure salt flavor to me. Bonus: they do sell beer, which is a plus for any wing shop in my book. Service: Staff was friendly enough for a wing shop. No big turn offs as I've seen in reviews. After I ordered, they started cleaning up and putting the chairs up (ordered at 11:19, closes at midnight). I wasn't expecting to eat in my car and probably would have gone down the street if I'd known I wouldn't be able to eat in when ordering. The staff did a great job of accommodating my order, reminding each other to make sure I got my drink and blue cheese dips. The wings themselves took 25 minutes to come out after I ordered, so don't come here when you're in a rush. Cleanliness: From what I saw, the place looked quite clean. Storage and surfaces were great even as they were working. Only issues I saw was little use of gloves as others have reported, and not having their health score posted where I could see it (92 as of May 2015 according to Internet searches). My visit here was not good at all. I placed my order en route, so I didn't expect it to be ready when I got there. But, I waited 30 minutes after I got there. After about 15 minutes waiting, they decided to drop our food. It was just the absolute worst. My wings seemed like they were not cooked thoroughly and my fries were over cooked. Many reasons why I gave this 1 star... 1. Came in to place my order at 8:45 (Sunday night) and waited for 45 mins before my order was ready. For the life of me, I don't understand why it would take 45 minutes + to get wing orders!!! I have never had experience this at any other wing places before. It seemed to me and other costumers that the workers there were moving very slow, sometime they were just standing around doing nothing. Closer to the time my order was ready, two other workers came to help (maybe it was the manager or somebody higher in position) and so the current workers started to actually work which sped up the wait time. Wings? Good. Service? Okay. I feel like I'm not allowed to complain, because I used the check-in deal to get some free boneless wings. However, the service was slow, and the food wasn't good enough to justify the wait. We got in on a Saturday evening and ordered a traditional six-piece meal (mango habanero and original hot flavors with a side of fries and a drink) and the complimentary garlic parmesan five-piece boneless wings. I'm assuming they were busy with online and call-in to-go orders, because the place was nearly empty, and it took at least 20 minutes to get our wings. In the end, the wings were pretty good, so I wasn't too upset. The traditional bone-in wings are crispy and tasty. I think my favorite flavor so far is the mango habanero. A good combination of sweet and spicy. The original was just okay, and the garlic parmesan boneless wings were a bit too salty for me (but what else should I have really expected from getting garlic parmesan wings). And who needs a classic side of fresh carrots and celery when you can have fries? They were well-seasoned, and probably my second favorite part of the meal. Overall, an okay experience. BEWARE! Placed on order online last night... received order number. Lazy employees decided to shut down early and closed the system down so my order was never received. I originally tried to order by phone and they would not answer... assuming they were busy I used the app and placed the order. Received an order number. The app does not allow a section for special instructions ie: sauce on the side, hold the salt etc... so on my way to the location I tried to call the entrie time and still no answer... yet I have an order number and a pick up time. I'm very picky about wings, but wing stop is definitely near the top when it comes to my favorite places for wings. My reason is because they make crispy wings! I hate wings that are soggy or baked. Whenever I order extra crispy/well done wings, they make it crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! I've only been here maybe three times, but I'll definitely make this my regular stop. Lemon pepper and Louisiana dry rub are my favorite. The only things I don't like are that they don't cook online orders that are over $30 unless you pay first (even though there's no option to enter your credit card info) and their fries aren't that good. They need to give an option to pay online or thru the app because I don't usually like giving my info over the phone. I think the fries are just my preference. Stopped here for lunch today, mostly because my girlfriend has many times how great WingStop was and we just happened to see this location. It's a pretty small place with only about 7 or 8 tables to eat there. It was very clean and bright, and made me happy to eat there. The menu is pretty simple, like most wing places. I don't need anything crazy at a wing place. The staff was very friendly and helpful (she even let my try the potato salad because I was thinking about it as my side). With more than 10 sauces, you have plenty of flavors to choose from. And with 10 wings you can pick 2 sauces, which is nice because you can't try different sauces. Both my sauces were delicious. One of the real standout differences was the chicken. It was very moist and juicy, but with a nice crispy skin. That's hard to find. Another big difference is that they aren't cheap. Specifically, what I find most often is not enough sauce on my wing and not enough dressing to dip it in. No... I don't want to pay 25 cents or 50 cents. WingStop delivers a nice wet wing, with a large dipping sauce on the side. I seriously doubt you will need to ask for extra bleu cheese or ranch.
