Inside, the pub features over 20 big-screen TVs--which would have made it an energetic spot to catch the World Cup games earlier this summer--though the hard surfaces create a fairly loud atmosphere. Because the weather was nice, we opted for one of the seven sidewalk tables out front. Unfortunately, another diner was smoking marijuana nearby, which spoiled the outdoor setting. Be prepared to use your smartphone, as menus are accessed strictly via QR code. We experienced significant timing issues with the kitchen. We ordered boneless teriyaki wings to start before placing our main entrées. Surprisingly, my Cobb salad arrived first--10 minutes before the appetizer. My husband's meal didn't arrive for another 15 minutes after the wings. Quality-wise, the Cobb salad fell short. It used exclusively iceberg lettuce--a cheaper alternative to the typical blend of romaine, endive, and iceberg--and was served with Thousand Island dressing instead of a classic vinaigrette. However, my husband's turkey club was a hit, served with crispy, perfectly cooked tater tots. Ultimately, while it may appeal to others, it wasn't the right fit for us.

It's gots a couple pool tables in back area with tables to sit and hang as well and some seating at the bar and a few tables up front. There's a couple small bathrooms, which were clean. I had a couple beers, a Stella (tasted off) and an anti hero, got a bacon burger and onion rings. The burger is good and so are the onion rings, are they the best I've ever had? No, but very good for the value, burger is a decent size with good quality bacon and nice grilled onions with the basics, choice of cheese. The service was fine, the food was better, front bar is not the biggest and probably fills up fast. I'd go again.

I went in on a Thursday afternoon around 4:00 pm and was the only customer when I entered. I ordered a rib tips and hot link combo I also got an order of 6 wings, both orders came with fries and a couple slices of white bread and choice of bbq sauce (I got the hot bbq). Everything was up to par for me, but I think I should have got all the sauces because although I like hot and spicy, I was hoping for a little sweetness in the sauce so if I mixed them, it probably would have been the flavors I was looking and craving for. The fried wings were pretty good and the rib tips were as well. I wouldn't say it was the best barbecue I ever had but definitely a good spot if you are looking for some decent barbecue. I can see myself coming back if I'm driving by and when I'm craving some barbecue.

LOVIN', TOUCHIN', DIPPIN'…read more Wingstop knows the best countermeasure for a spicy bomb is a bucket of blue cheese dressing. Back when I used to work in Melrose Park, I'd frequent a Wingstop on North Ave. There, the quality of food was hit-and-miss, but that's not the case here on Archer Ave. The guys at this location mean business, cranking our orders way faster than the "16-21 minute" time frame assigned to the online order confirmation. My lunch has been made in 5 minutes flat. The chicken tender lunch combo ($6.50) is a solid deal: 3 juicy tenders in choice of sauce, regular size fry, and 20oz drink. Tenders were made fresh and fully coated in one of their limited-time sauces, sweet BBQ blaze. They have 70¢ boneless wings on Monday and Tuesday. Wingstop's cheese fries are amazing; they really slather on the cheese sauce which, for only 50¢ more, turns out to be a great value. You'll most likely want a tub of ranch or blue cheese ($1.50) to dip your chicken in. Cajun fried corn (5pc for $4.50) is another option. I've always believed that Wingstop's mango habanero is more tolerable than Buffalo Wild Wings' flavor of the same name. Whereas B-dubs really leans into the 'habanero' side of things, at Wingstop they're much more aligned with 'mango', so the result is more enjoyably sweet than unbearable heat, which I like. They have 12 sauces to pick from, including the OG lemon pepper, garlic parm, Hawaiian, Louisiana rub, spicy Korean BBQ, hot honey rub, classic buffalo, Cajun, and "atomic". I'd steer clear of that last one, unless you're accustomed to insanely spicy things and/or spending time feverishly moaning on the can. * TL;DR * I've come to realize that my past prejudice towards Wingstop is mostly unfounded--I've sung B-dubs' praises for so long I considered Wingstop to be the naturally inferior sibling. Well, this Wingstop in Chicago's Garfield Ridge neighborhood has me rethinking which team has the true MVT (most valuable tender). Their fries are way better than their closest competitor, with way better deals, too. By comparison, a "value bundle" of 6 boneless wings + fries at Buffalo Wild Wings is $9, and that doesn't include a drink. Defo coming back here for lunch and carryout orders.
