But the breading of the chicken or what's ever they were doing, was like they poured the salt in. I've ne ver tasted something so god damn salty in my life. I went there last night around 10:40 pm and the employees were already putting the tables down so that nobody could sit and eat. The cooks were screaming out loud to the people coming in " you can't eat here! Everything is to go" I believe it was very rude to treat customers that way if the closing time is 11pm. So this Wing Stop I have had several issues with in the past. This time they forgot my ranch and just threw my veggie sticks in the bag without a box. Kind of rough to give one star but I'm sick of giving them a pass. In the past they have mixed my wings with my girlfriend's wings, I like spicy, she can't handle it. So I finally understand why this place has 2.5 stars, once you have an issue with an order that's when service goes to hell (not that it was good to begin with) They messed up my order last time and I was stupid not to check. This Wingstop is extremely dirty and unorganized. I placed an order online and was given a 23 - 28 pick-up window, I arrived at the 25 minute mark and was told that my order would be ready shortly. After 10 minutes I was informed that the ticket was misplaced and they were in the process of making my order. Not a big deal yet it was the delivery that I received, no apology or empathy to either error. In my time waiting, tables got up and more folks funneled in the door and no one took the time to wipe down any tables or attempt to clean up the floor or restaurant. You would think you were in a DownTown location with high traffic, not this is the suburbs and the store was fully staffed yet employees were on their cell phones laughing about. Okay so the only problem I have with them is that their soda is always flat. I'm not sure why, and when you happen to mention something they get mad about it. I have had my Doordash people apologizing on their behalf because they know the soda is flat and I even had a lady explaining to me she expressed her concern for the soda to the employees, and they simply told her they had already changed it. I know this also from personal experience of picking it up, having to try it and tell them- no I'm sorry it's flat and having them get mad at me. I recommend you don't get drinks from here. Alright, so...my experience. I came to this location to pick up and order that was made in MY FULL NAME for my coworkers who paid for the order online. So I get there, wait in line, everything is good until I step up to be helped. I gave the ladies my name to pick up my order (I'm even wearing my name tag from work) and they said they need the card that was used to pay for the order (my coworkers paid online) in order to give me the food THAT IS IN MY NAME. Maybe they should tell you this information in advance after you've paid online and the order is processed. It was really annoying and doesn't warrant a bad review, BUT I'm not done. Being that I was just coming to pick up food, I didn't bring my phone or my wallet. I asked the ladies if I could use their phone to call my coworkers to get the card info that they "needed"...and instead of just saying yes, they questioned why I didn't have a phone. Ultimately, I was able to use their phone... Going on... once I finished my phone call and was ready to continue, the employees ignored me (while I was obviously ready and standing at the counter) to help customers who came after me. I'm not big on making scenes to get what I want, so I just waited. And finally, when I received my To-Go order in a bag the items were not even boxed. Fries stacked on chicken wings stacked on chicken wings...and no boxes. If I hadn't checked the bag before I left, I don't know what type of mess would have come from that. I asked for my items to be boxed, kind of expecting them to box my food for me, but no- they just handed me a box- a single box...for 3 orders... I don't think I've ever had wings from Wingstop taste like the ones I just got, and I got them WET. They are greasy and crunchy!!!!! These are so hard and over cooked that I feel like I'm literally going to break a tooth. Maybe they were left in too long because there were too many staff members in the kitchen when there's only room for two due to it being way too small in there. If it were an option I would give this location a negative 5 star rating. I can't believe how rude the cashier Crystal is. Crystal completely ruined my appetite for for night. Yikes! This will be a very detailed review into why I unfortunately had to give this place 1 star, which is generous, if Yelp would let me go lower, I would. We ordered online on a weeknight around 10PM. The location is open until 11. When we arrived there was a small group that got in the door just ahead of us and they didn't seem to have any idea what they wanted. Our order was ready and sitting on the counter. We had already paid online. There is one person running the register while 4 employees shuffle around in the back. As someone who has been a slave to these types of jobs, I am very understanding and patient with understaffing and poor staffing at peak times. While this was neither a peak time, nor could they have been understaffed based on how some of them were acting, it was super annoying to have to wait for the party ahead of us to finally decide what they want, go through all the questions about customizations and sides, pay, and then we could easily present our ID and receive our food. Surely one of the 4 people in the wide open back area could come up and done that for us. There also was no one behind us. That said, a total side note, but I've never touched a more disgusting door in my life. It was so sticky I think I lost a layer of skin. We got home with our food, 2 orders of 15 piece wings and two orders of fries. Neither box of wings was labeled or marked in any fashion. I don't need stickers like Buffalo Wild Wings, just a sharpie or some sort of mark to differentiate them would make total sense. The fries come with up to 2 seasonings and neither package of fries was marked. Aside from the fact that the fries are in a very open trey which leaves them completely cold and soggy in just a 5 minute drive home, I didn't taste any bit of either seasoning on my fries. It's ok tho, I threw most of them out since it was basically a rotten potato sliced up and left to mold over. My mind was already on the review by time I started the wings. Where's my ranch? Oh wait, they didn't give us ANY. When ordering online we saw there's a charge for extra ranch, just assumed they did give you some for free...nope. Now I'm not sure if that was error, laziness, or just really pathetic business. The wings - I first bit into a bbq which of course had a sauce for the flavor. The flavor was pretty good. The chicken, however, hit me weird. I couldn't figure out what it was. I moved to lemon pepper, which has a dry seasoning. I bit in and didn't taste even the slightest lemon or pepper. I did however get much of a mouth full of breading and almost no chicken. I was down to 3 stars at this point. I go back to the bbq, same thing, good sauce, something off with the chicken. I go back to lemon pepper, no lemon, no pepper, something very wrong with the "chicken" that came with all the breading. One more bbq, the same thing. I go back to lemon pepper and I bit in, it's almost 100% breading but then I get hit with some lemon pepper! LOTS of it! Yuuuuum, I would have thought if there was actually chicken involved. I put down that piece and went for the next lemon pepper in hopes of finding that magic combo of CHICKEN, lemon, and pepper. I bit in and grease literally splashes onto my face and I realize the chicken is literally SOAKED in grease. Like not your normal fried chicken, but they somehow lock in so much of the grease underneath the breading. I held it over my plate and squeezed the grease out. It was the most disgusting thing. I realized the "off" taste in the chicken was just the fact that it was drowned in grease and then stock-piled in breading. A side note, there was no lemon or pepper on that last piece. Why did I even order flavors? Unfortunately I had to give up, the garbage ate the remains. My roommate had given up long before me, but I truly do hate to waste food, I just made it as far as I humanly could. The sad thing is I saw the low yelp rating while we were ordering, but I ignored it as Buffalo Wild Wings and other chains often do have low ratings on Yelp regardless. The price seemed much more reasonable, but never again will I go there. Even if they saw this and wanted to refund my money and give me a gift card. I can't even think of a coworker or acquaintance I would detest enough to give the gift card to. She looks at the table and sees my order and says " I have no idea why they put these here" turns out my order was ready even before I came in. The other employees called different people's names constantly and neglected to call mine's I finally got my food which was actually ready 30 minutes before. The food was cold, the fries were soggy. The cashier didn't reassure me or offer to remake the order. I'm completely dissatisfied even though I used to eat here in the past. I'm very dissatisfied and feel that this isn't the way your supposed to treat customers. If you're a cashier and it's not busy, you should be able to remember my name and at least ask me if you see me sitting for 30 minutes. This is a shame because I have many friends that eat here and I have to let them know of how I was treated. Their best fried wings are the lemon pepper and Louisiana rub. Pair it with their super salty/sweet, crispy, and slightly browned fries. The last 3 times i went the woman at the register messed up an order, followed by a few bad explicit words. Very unprofessional. I see that they mess up on orders a lot and profanity, profanity everywhere (from employees that is). They took about 15 to 20 mins to get my order out. They almost never have ketchup! One time i asked the girl is she could bring out more ketchup, she replied with "there is still some more at the bottom". i said to her "you have a lot of customers so i think its best to bring a new ketchup bottle out. She gave me this look. i will most likely not be back. They only take trash of tables but it doesn't seem like they wipe them down. These employees work like they aren't getting paid to do their job. We finally tried Wing Stop.. Whooo Hoooo I orderd Teriyaki and BBQ wings He ordered Teryiaki and Garlic Parmesan boneless wings and a side of baked beans. both orders came with fryes. His opinion: says his wings were equal to the ones we buy at the grocery store, maybe a very slight bit better. Says his baked beans were the highlight as well as the fryes. My opinion: he had me try his Garlic/ Parm boneless wings and I really liked it! Yummy. As far as for mine... the grocery store Teriyaki wings I buy are so much meatier. Both flavors were good.
