The ultimate fried chicken sandwich. The chicken is fried perfectly and the Asian flavors make it so good. This is definitely a must try and might be a top chicken sandwich in La

my dog liked the chicken so much she was licking off the residue
Melody S.

The food was really good and very tasty. Chicken was crispy to perfection and I loved how you can easily take off the breading. I gave my dog some chicken she loved it only reason why it is not at five stars. I think it needed better sauce options.

We were so hungry for the wings we almost forgot to take a pic. Here is the last remaining wing.

With a day of playoff football we craved chicken wings so we decided to give Cluck Shack a try. We were not disappointed. The chicken wings are crunchy and not oily. The chicken itself didn't have much flavor but the sauces were great. Soy garlic was ok. We really liked sweet and spicy. The chicken sandwich was also tasty although I wouldn't consider it being one of the best sandwiches I ve ever had like some of these other reviews. The boneless chicken was actually pretty dry. Probably won't order it again. But overall I recommend CS and will be back.

What a great new neighborhood spot! My husband and I went last night after driving by for weeks and thank gkd we did. We absolutely loved our experience. we ordered the chicken sandwich and boneless wings with the sweet butter sauce. We definitely over ordered and took some wings home. The sandwich is the star of the show and I am still thinking about it. The fries were delish and I'm obsessed with the spicy mayo dipping sauce. They cook everything fresh so you do have to wait but that's what you get for good quality food. We will definitely return and are so happy to have this spot in the west valley!

The chicken sandwich here was so good! 10/10 easily. I also liked the fries, cabbage and Japanese drinks. I tried the soy garlic wings and the sweet spicy sauce on the side. The wings weren't my favorite, about an 8/10, but they were still pretty good. I will definitely try the butter flavor if I go back. I think I would prefer the wings tossed in the sweet and spicy sauce over the soy garlic. Pricing and service were pretty good as well. About 3 tables inside and maybe 2 outside for seating

I love local small businesses so I am disappointed to leave a less than ideal review. The honest feedback is that while the shop is super cute and the sandwiches are delicious, the bun to chicken ratio is simply too high; meaning there is hardly any meat in the sandwiches. The store is small so it's best to order take out and enjoy at home. I recommend checking them out, but I just don't think it's competitive given proximity to chick-fil-a and other restaurants near by.

This chicken sandwich was so crispy and juicy

No notes on the chicken sandwich. The fries were wonderful and crispy. Please was clean and the service was nice and quick and everything was fresh. The chicken sandwich was very crispy and had a good sweetness that mixed well with the cabbage and the sauce and the pickles. Definitely a worthy chicken sandwich. Try it out now

Piece of chicken was very well cooked and I must admit the bread was super buttery. But it lacked any real flavor, all I really tasted was a semi mayode coleslaw. The french fries were oily, and no salt for seasoning. I did like the fact that they were battered, but if only that had more flavor. My overall feeling is that they have great service and good quality food just lacks depth. Next time I'll try one of the dipping sauces.

Wowza I need this spot to stay open because it's the tastiest friend chicken sando around but also I don't want it to become so popular I can't just pop over and get fed. First visit so we ordered chicken sando, fries, and wings with two of the four flavors - Sweet Spicy & Sweet butter (not pictured). Hubby ordered a fun beer. Chicken Sandwich - 10/10 no notes Fries- hot, crispy, the kind with some flavor already on it. Chefs kiss :-* Chicken Wings - 8/10 can't wait to try the other two flavors.

Just wrapped up lunch with my boyfriend at the Cluck Shack, and am officially obsessed! This little spot on Ventura is truly a small gem for delicious wings at an unbeatable price. Parking is available in both the back lot + on the street so no worries about that (there's a narrow hallway that leads from the back lot to the front right next to the restaurant so you don't have to walk around the corner). The cashier was polite and friendly, and explained all the flavors + gave great recommendations. We ordered 12 wings with three different flavors, a side of coleslaw, and two drinks for less than $40 (I think the total was $36!) and the portions were so generous! We waited about 15 minutes for food and enjoyed our meal inside (not a HUGE amount of seating but plenty inside and out). The wings were absolutely delicious. My favorite was the Soy Garlic, and it was bursting with flavor (aka literally juice was spilling out with every bite), and even the saucy wings were crispy. The coleslaw was perfect - Asian style without heavy mayo + flavors, and gave the perfect amount of freshness we needed to balance out the wings. Not only do they have wings, but they also have a chicken sandwich for only $8.99, and if the wings were this good, I can only imagine how yum the sandwich is :) they also had dessert options too, but we were so full that we'll have to try those next time! We definitely recommend Cluck Shack, and will be back soon to enjoy more items!

French fries

The coleslaw is a must, the dressing on it was great. The service was quick and everything came out hot and fresh. Will definitely go back to try their other wing flavors! Great fry on everything. Very cute place, loved the aesthetic.

Underwhelming. Small thin fried chicken patty compared to the bun. $10 for that Japanese sando? No thanks. Better options around.

Beans and Limes is a part of my daily routine and being a regular, I have my own custom dish with them, they serve the most delicious enchiladas.. they are not on the menu but if you see this review and crave them then be sure to ask for "The Dana Special". The owner, Miguel, is a genuinely kind hearted man who told me he makes me my enchiladas the same way his mother used to make them for him. I'm a vegetarian so it can be tricky to find yummy and sustainable meals but Beans and Limes have delicious veggie options. I'm lucky enough to live a mile away but I would definitely drive hours for the food!

Really good reviews from a food truck?! There's no way. Curiosity got the best of me. We got 2 guacamole tacos (one chicken, one asada), one cheese taco (asada), and one regular large taco (chicken), with an order of esquite, and 2 Cokes. Order was placed with the DoorDash app (even though I was parked right next door) and waited less than 30 minutes for my order to be ready. I highly recommend the large hand-pressed guacamole tacos with asada. AMAZING. I would drive out here (about one hour) for these tacos, again. The esquites was good. More lime than I'm used to, but not bad actually. I liked it. Also, the green salsa? REALLY good. Add it to your taco! I get the hype. I look forward to coming back here and trying out other menu items.

We been coming for a while now after a walk around the lake. Plus it's a good reason to hydrate afterwards with a nice cold one. And what better way, happy hour. Anyways, it's a great place to just stop by, have a beer and some food and just lounge. If you're looking for sports, there's plenty of television inside with something on. We like to just enjoy the patio seating outside and Just watch the golfers on the putting green. Something mellow and quite relaxing. Positive note, they're pet friendly. If you come on Sunday, i guarantee theres always going to be some kind of sports on. The service has alway been great. All the staff are amazing and friendly. It's says a lot when you walk in and they know exactly what you want. Either I'm here too much or they know their regulars. It's a great way to unwind and just chill after a day of work or whatever. The golfers are all friendly as well. They're all here for the same reason. They use to have trivia night but I'm not sure if that still exists. Regardless, it's alway a great place. Had to make a reservation for 4 people for the Rams-Bears game, and we were sat right in the middle tables near the back, almost touching (and frequently bumped by other patrons) nearby, instead of the more spacious lounge-type 4 seaters that I wanted. The area is deafeningly noisy, stuffy, No A/C. As if a sports bar isn't loud enough, they have a DJ for what reason I don't know blasting music at every opportunity during timeouts and between games...yikes. Super packed inside, but outside seating is very bare and only 1 crappy TV in the corner. Absolute pandemonium inside, dogs, kids everywhere. Love both but just a bizarre scene. Food was passable, nothing more. The asada nachos we were told had beans but didnt come with it, and had a weird liquid white cheese melted and not enough of it to smother the chips. Very expensive too almost 30 bucks! Barely any pico, no guac. Wings are so-so meaty and hot but boring not seasoned. The garlic parm fries are not bad but a pool of oil on the bottom of the basket. The burger seemed to be the best item, I ate a chicken sandwich (fried) it was plain and boring as hell, but not bad. We couldn't make it past halftime it was just so insanely loud and uncomfortable from rubbing seats behind me, can't move vertically. Parking lot completely sold out sharing with the golf course, had to park a few hundred feet away in another small lot, and the icing on the cake as we left some weirdo woman approached the window startling us and asking for money handing out something. Bolted the fuck out, counted our blessings and...see you next lifetime. Did not feel safe walking back to the far-out lot, and another homeless person actually entered the bar and was walking around, barely holding it together to not show his genitals. There was a security guard near entrance, I guess the homeless man parachuted in cuz he got past him. Good grief.

For the win--literally!…read more After a few hours of shopping, my daughter, granddaughter, and I decided to grab dinner at For the Win. We were all craving burgers, and nothing hits like a fresh smash burger. I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon and all the toppings, plus a side of sweet potato fries and a cold brisk tea. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was super clean and had a festive vibe with Christmas music playing, which we loved. The staff were very welcoming, and the customer service was top-notch. We'll definitely be back to this location.

I had a pretty frustrating experience ordering from For The Win today, which completely defeated…read morethe purpose of ordering ahead. I placed an online order through their website, and it quoted about a 25-minute prep time with a ready window around 2:56 -3:06 PM. I planned accordingly and even arrived earlier so I could pick it up fresh and avoid waiting. However, just five minutes after placing the order, I received a text saying it was already ready. That immediately raised a red flag, because if you're paying $13+ for a double burger, you expect it to be made closer to your arrival time, not immediately. When I arrived, the burger was already cold. When I brought this up, the employee I spoke with repeatedly said "it's not my fault" and pointed to someone else, instead of taking any ownership or even acknowledging the issue. It was a really poor way to handle a simple customer concern. Eventually, after some back and forth, the burger was remade, but I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. And ironically, it took longer to make it this time than it did after I placed the online order. But then now I wa stuck waiting defeating the whole purpose of ordering ahead. A manager eventually came over and was polite, but by that point the experience had already been frustrating. They also threw away the original burger instead of offering to let me keep it, which felt wasteful. On top of that, when I asked for a couple cups of water for my daughter, I was told I'd need to purchase a bottle, which felt pretty tone-deaf given the situation and didn't even think to offer me any anything for the misunderstanding and having to wait extra time now... The bigger issue here is the lack of coordination and communication. If you're going to quote customers a pickup time, especially for hot food, the order should be made accordingly--not immediately after it's placed. Otherwise, you're guaranteeing that the food won't be fresh when the customer arrives. Between the timing issue, the lack of ownership from staff, and the overall handling of the situation, this was a disappointing experience. I usually like the food, but the service and process today really need improvement.
