Just moved to the neighborhood and drive by almost every day and I'm so glad I finally stopped in today. Overall was very impressed and satisfied with the food quality, taste and customer service. As soon as I walked up I was greeted by Ross who was outside cooking. Food time was more than reasonable and was happy with my order. I went with the Tri-Tip/Baby Rack Rib combo with fries on the side and a Pulled Pork Sandwich with potato salad on the side. Rib meat was really good and fell right off the bone, tri-tip was tender and very flavorful and definitely loved the potato salad. My one and only critique is the pricing. For all that I listed above for me and my 10 year old boy was almost $70...I think the pricing could definitely use some work for the portions given. I will definitely be back but unfortunately not as frequent as I would like, due to the prices. This is our first experience ordering from American BBQ. We thought we would give them a try. We ordered quite a bit of food. I only have a few pictures. The first thing that turned me off is that the food was packaged in Styrofoam. Aside from the fact that Styrofoam is not good for the environment the food that is hot gets wet inside. We ordered garlic Parmesan cheese bread. $30 for 6 pieces. I'm not sure where the garlic and the cheese were it was more of a toast. We ordered garlic mashed potatoes. Do not order the baked beans as a side. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because they have ok bbq. If you order bbq sauce on side you won't get any. Tasteless bbq. Ribs have zero smoked flavor, they taste like overcooked oven roasted ribs with an unpleasant old fat smell. Full rack of ribs was a disappointment, my dog enjoyed them. Overall a little disappointing. We tried the rib tips, pork belly "burnt ends", hot links, cornbread, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. Everything tasted okay but the rib tips were very very tough. Also the pork belly had so much cartilage, it was my first time trying pork belly burnt ends instead of brisket burnt ends so maybe it's supposed to be like that but it felt like I was spitting out more cartilage than actual meat I was consuming. Plenty of parking and when you walk in you're greeted with friendly staff and the aroma of unbelievably delicious bbq! The restaurant is casual with cool western decor and spotlessly clean! Large screen TVs and we heard they have a karaoke night. I'm pretty sure if I showed up I'd be banned lol! The bbq pork ribs give southern ribs a run for their money and the peach cobbler (recommended by Mr. Bill) with a scoop of ice cream is nostalgic and something you cannot leave without getting! Terrible bbq let's start with the price $47 for a combo plate. I got the barbecue ribs half a slab and sausage links which are not made in house. I can tell they look like Bar S package links. Went to try their Big Texan Challenge (which is $95 to attempt as of writing this review, but you get your money's worth in food alone). During the gauntlet I got to sample their chicken, ribs, pulled pork, tri tip, hot links, BBQ beans, mashed potatoes, mac 'n cheese, and corn bread. They were all solid, but I was particularly impressed with the hot links and the chicken; they were so flavorful and juicy. Another thing worth noting is their spicy BBQ sauce: any respectful BBQ place must have a good BBQ recipe to call their own, and All American's spicy BBQ really stands out. It has a sweet and subtle spice, with a distinct hint of booze; I could drink the stuff. There is ample seating inside or outside, with a low noise level. Sit outside to enjoy the delicious smell of burning meat a few feet away from you. Service was quick and friendly, not only did they deliver our food quickly, but they stuck around during my near hour-long attempt at the challenge, offering conversation and encouragement, and even some tips after I tapped out at the end. Although I leave in defeat, I will certainly be back to All American BBQ, whether to try out some of their other dishes, or to have another crack at the Big Texan. read more

These slightly warm ribs looked like they had already been eaten there was so little meat on them. They looked like a meal that was left out and re-warmed several times. We decided to give our new local bbq place a try, yesterday and we were less than impressed. We ordered our food online directly through the restaurant for pickup. We ordered the tri-tip plate with a Caesar salad and beans, the tri-tip sandwich with coleslaw, a kid's hotdog meal (which comes with fries, no option to change the side), a hot link, and an order of garlic bread. TRI-TIP PLATE: the tri-tip was over-seasoned and spicy (too much dry rub), the BBQ sauce is SO GOOD - on the sweet side, which I love! It really helped balance the spicy dry rub for me. Now, I made the mistake of selecting a side salad AND beans... the meals include 2 sides OR 1 side salad. The owner contacted us to ask if we wanted to switch to something else, or pay for a side of beans. We were charged $6 for a side of beans (1/2 pint); I'm not sure if this would have been the same size included with my meal, but it was way more than I was wanting (or expecting). The beans were just ok, smoky, a bit watery, and not at all sweet, which is what I was hoping for. The side Caesar was fine, fresh lettuce, crunchy seasoned croutons, and grated Parmesan with a tart dressing. This meal ended up being $25.25 with the beans. TRI-TIP SANDWICH: the meat was tender, medium rare (as requested). We added extra meat ($4), cheese ($1), pickles, bbq sauce, and grilled onions which were great. It was on a French roll which tasted fresh. The coleslaw was overly peppery, not sweet, and needed salt. This meal was $22.25. KID'S HOTDOG: we ordered this cooked medium rare so it wouldn't be overdone. It included lots of fries, but I think it would be nice to offer other options for sides. My 3 year old son woke up at 3am VOMITING... I'm not sure if it's related, but it seemed coincidental. HOT LINK: good, but a little dry. Spicy and a bit sweet. Not $8 good. GARLIC BREAD: we ordered a 6 piece garlic bread... it was 6 halves of the French bread rolls (like the ones used for the sandwiches). The bread tasted fresh and had good flavor. I do think $14 is a bit much to charge for it, however. Parking: plenty of parking in the lot directly outside of the restaurant. Inside: newly renovated, but some of the tables for dining looked like a makeshift office with a computer & paperwork. We REALLY want this place to do well.
