Went for 65 cent Wing Wednesday and honestly, it was pretty good. Ordered out. Food was done super quick, way sooner than their estimate. It was alright. Didn't blow my mind but the boneless wings were cooked well and the hot buffalo was spicy enough and the garlic buffalo was great. The fries were fried well but was swimming in butter and Parmesan shaker cheese. Would probably order Cajun or normal fries next time. The Caesar salad was pretty good too. Fantastic selection! Boneless wings are super MEATY! Not your over-breaded typical "Adult Chicken Nuggets" you might find at your big chain wings places. An abundance of sauces to choose from. Tried the Barbicide last time and was thrilled with the heat and flavor balance. Especially since I don't usually select bbq as a flavor. Meh. I had high hopes that this place would be a nice (and much needed) addition to the local options. Our first visit was promising. I met the owner's wife (she was very nice) and the staff was friendly, so I was really excited to come back. Sadly, every other visit has been a major letdown. There's no way around it - the food just isn't very good. The wings aren't bad, but everything else is underwhelming. Add the fact that they've messed up our order every single time (majorly annoying in the COVID take-out world where you don't know the order is wrong until you're home and it's too late). Super disappointed on my first order. Got fried shrimp to go. I live about 5 min away. Got them home and the shrimp has breading, but not actually on the shrimp. My family and myself have been coming here for years; I always get the WTG Burger and garbage fries and ALWAYS ask for no jalapenos since i am allergic; and every time they put jalapenos on. I was not rude nor disrespectful (as all customers say; yet this time it's true i promise) :) and had my 10year old little girl with me. The "Owner" as he called himself - Barrett Nix - raised his voice several times at us. (wearing black shirt and brown shorts 04/03/2023 @ 5:45pm). He walked up holding our order and started "venting" to me how they are short staffed and that this order comes with jalapenos,... i asked him to slow down since this was not about HIM yet about our orders always being incorrect. He didn't appreciate me stating out the fact that these constant mistakes on a simple request are getting old,... He raised his voice telling me he doesn't appreciate my posture,... (what now? Standing is not allowed anymore?) and that i could leave. I requested a refund and left the untouched food on the table at which point he stated the food is in my hands now and no refund! I was going to call my CC company to dispute yet i did take the food in the end so will just eat the cost; literally in this case. He then once again raised his voice telling myself and my little girl to leave,... i am still in disbelief this just happened. Just a thought here: Would it be so challenging to just say we do not allow changes to our orders,...? Please read my review on Yelp, Facebook, and Nolensville FB. This behavior is insane and not acceptable; if you are not able to communicate with people properly, talk respectfully, or are willing to allow changes to your menu you should not be in the business of a restaurant or be an 'OWNER" of anything. Caveat: I am from Buffalo, NY (a/k/a the Chicken Wing Capital of the World). I cooked wings at a bar in Buffalo for a lot of years and have cooked and eaten more wings than I care to count. So you could say I am something of an expert on chicken wings, boneless wings and the sauces used. I took a lot of pride in my wings and the sauces that I created and made. 'Quality Control' (QC) was first and foremost for me. Wings aren't hard to cook so if you screw them up or the order there are issues in the kitchen. In Buffalo if you screw up enough orders or cook poor food you'll be shuttering your doors sooner than later. I've eaten wings at all of the famous places in Buffalo (and some not so famous but amazing): Anchor Bar, Duff's, La Nova (my favorite wing in the world is their BBQ wing, see Barstool Sports episode where they visit La Nova), Bozana's, Bella Pizza, Abbott Pizza, Santora's, Curly's, Nino's, Pasquales, Touch of Italy, etc. Ask anyone in the 716 and they will have a favorite wing place and they are fiercely loyal to that place. I know people who drive 20-30 minutes to get wings from their favorite place...now that's loyalty. First visit here on a takeout order. Let's start with the positives: the staff was super friendly and helpful, the boneless wings were juicy and had good flavor, the wing sauces were really good, the celery was fresh, the fries are great and the place was open and clean. Sadly, there were negatives. I asked for extra tartar sauce for the fish dinner (twice) and that was missed, asked for blue cheese in all of my boneless wing orders and got ranch dressing. For the record I loathe ranch dressing on any type of wing with all of my being (it should be outlawed in the culinary world). The coleslaw was bad as in not edible and was spit out and thrown away immediately. And lastly there was a bone in one of my wife's catfish filets. Now while the last thing may be a supplier issue but WTG sold it, so they own it. I would go back there for a 2nd chance to try their bone-in chicken wings and tenders but I will have to double check the bag before I leave to make sure I have what I ordered is in there, not something I normally like to do or should have to do. Suggestion for WTG, maybe use a different colored lid or cup for the ranch and blue cheese to differentiate them? It's so simple it makes sense, right? Come on folks let's get those orders right, sure you're new but QC keeps you above the pack in the growing Nolensville food scene. And you know that sooner or later another wing place will appear to compete and you will have to be on the top of your game. Your food and getting orders correctly builds a loyal customer base that doesn't want to try anywhere else for their wing fix. read more

Where to start? The owners you will not meet a nicer hometown Nolensville family, they also give back to the community and support the local schools, police, and fire! Their food is not just wings, both the steak and chicken Philly steak sandwiches are the best in middle TN, I am from the Philly area too. They also have great wraps and salads too!
