Sports bar atmosphere, TV's everywhere, would be a fun place for March Madness or World Cup viewing, that kind of thing. Server was very friendly. My husband happened to order the "beer of the month" so two beers arrived. A happy surprise but we didn't see anything about this or know it was coming. He also ordered the Fish & Chips which comes with a large salad. It was good fish and a lot of food so he brought some home. I had the Avocado Club sandwich with Sweet potato fries. Also a lot! I literally live on Granny White Pike - but I stopped coming to this location - instead, I only visit the Cool Springs location - Don't get me wrong , I was excited when they first opened, since it's so much closer to my home. Anyone that knows me is aware that I like to sit, with my airpods on, and just chill. One night, two random drunk schmucks started bothering me. After an argument where one of them literally got up and started to approach me, like he was going to do something (would have been hilarious) - So, I just left. When I returned a few nights later, "Management wanted to have a talk with me to discuss the situation." They claimed to have "reviewed the tapes" and were going to talk to both parties. If these tapes exist, they would noticed me doing the same thing I always do - minding my own business, with my headphones on. And they would have also seen these random two beta-cucks bothering me, while I was just trying to chill, and have a beer. They would have seen one guy get out of his seat and start to approach me in an agressive manner. So, to management - Fk your life. I'll take my oversized tips elsewhere. Now this is what I'm talking about! Jonathan's Grille is such a cool spot where the local crowd actually hangs out, and the vibe is just great. Our waitress, Haley, was absolutely amazing so warm, inviting, and welcoming right from the start. It's an awesome place to watch sports, hang out, and have a cocktail or two... okay, maybe three! They also have excellent late-night snacks. We ordered the Margherita flatbread pizza and the egg rolls, and both were fantastic. The service was friendly and helpful, it's a large place with plenty of seating. The menu reminded me of cheesecake factory in the sense that there's a little bit of everything. There's pasta, sandwiches, egg roll appetizers, steak, something for everyone. I got the Steak Frites, it was $24 which I thought was reasonably priced. The steak was cooked medium rare and was very good. It came with a chimichurri sauce that I think could have been a little more flavorful. Went up there yesterday to watch the Buffalo Bills game. We had a blast! They had all the TVs clearly marked with team helmets were the games were on what. We had no problem finding game and our table in the corner. Buffalo Bills put on quite a show. Great game! Emily, our waitress was great along with the girls behind the bar. The energy we had had most of the staff joining us and cheering for the Bills. The food was incredible. Being from Buffalo I've heard how good their wings were so I had to try for myself. You could tell they were fresh fried and hadn't been frozen. I got the lemon pepper, buffalo dry rub, and they were spot on. Nice a crispy. 10/10 from this guy from Buffalo. Shrimp cocktail was on point! We'll get a little extra horseradish on the side to spice it up next time. And, the pizza roll was delicious to snack on too. This restaurant is brand new, open 2 weeks and packed. Lots of tv's around the bar. They have a lot on their menu, avg for today's prices. They do have drink specials,even on weekends. The last couple of times I was in Jonathan's the service was terrible. The server Abby took 20 minutes to wait on me one time and the next time she refused to wait on me. This girl is rude and complains about customers all the time. I told the owner about this and he has done nothing about it. They also claim to be a sports bar and invite you to come in and watch the big games. Well you better watch it, because if they get too busy and you have finished your meal, they will ask you to leave and forget about watching your game. We met my granddaughter here on our vacation. The food is very good, I will say that. Maybe just a tad bit pricey but worth it. HOWEVER, when we got our bill, it had a hospitality fee for $1.85 on both our bills. We asked the waitress what it was for. We were told it's basically like an insurance in case something happens, like the booth rips or something gets damaged. I'm like, " OH Hell no"!!! That is what you include in the price of the food. Was happy to have a new restaurant in Brentwood. Visited this location the other night. Expanded menu compared to similar places in area and prices were slightlay elevated. All was good until I get the check and notice an inconspicuous "hospitality fee" of roughly 3% just added onto the bill. I inquired and management stated it's for "back of house", not even for the service staff. To me, it's one thing to raise prices to cover inflated costs of doing business, but to blatantly put it on the bill with no prior communication and no decision to pay or not, I felt this was morally wrong and very poor business practices.
