Honestly when we first found Wings Time in Lynwood, we were a little skeptical just because of the area and the way the spot looked from the outside. But we love wings, so we figured why not give it a shot. Safe to say we were completely wrong because this place is honestly amazing. The wings here are seriously some of the best around. They say they're Atlanta style and even though I've never been to Atlanta myself, if this is what Atlanta wings taste like then I'm all in. The wings had a perfect crunch, the sauces were on point, and the lemon pepper wings were probably some of the best I've had in a long time. The customer service was great too. Everyone there was cool, welcoming, and the place always seems to have good deals going on. You can tell they care about the food and the people coming in. Ever since our old wing spot North of Ortiz closed down, we've been trying to find a new go-to wing place and honestly this became it. It's sad when your favorite food spots disappear, but I'm glad we found this place because now whenever we're craving wings, this is where we go. The service straight amazing super kind and chill guy greets you very hospitable and genuine. Took my service animal in without issues recommended I get #13 and not gonna lie it looked and tasted amazing I ate the shrimp fried rice alone and got some plain wings to split with my pup and she approved. The place is very clean and neat and thankfully they serve cook products there's a 7-11 next door if you're picky. Rice was good but half portion for higher price , okra delicious, fish tasted good, but was a bit dry, overcooked, batter was super crispy and fell off the fish. I have always had a great experience here, but today was horrible. I called my order in and the worker was extremely rude and attempted to hang up the phone multiple times before I even finished my order. When I went to pick up my order and paid, he told me my card did not go through. He showed me the POS that said "Approved Out of Paper." I tried to explain that it says it's approved but there is no paper that's why a receipt isn't coming out. He proceeded to grab my card out of my hand and ran my credit card THREE more times. It wasn't until I pulled up my bank account app to show him he charged my card FOUR times that he stopped. He started getting mad as if it was my fault that he charged me 4 times. I was so over at this point so I grabbed my food and left. When I got home and opened my order later, it was completely wrong. So not only did he charge me 4 times, he took my order down wrong and charged me for the cost of my original order when what he gave me actually would have cost $4 less on each charge. Came here on a Wednesday, it wasn't busy so I was hoping wings would be made to order. I decided to the #11, 10 wings, fries and a drink for $15.35. It was $16.92 with taxes. Not bad.. I got spicy garlic and lemon pepper with a Dr. Pepper, man these wings and fries were hot and fresh! To my surprise the spicy garlic kind of tasted similar to buffalo but with more of an acidic kick. Not too bad. Lemon pepper was lemon peppering! It had a good amount of dry rub! Some pieces did get a bit more seasoning than others. Which was ok, nothing that a little dusting off and ranch won't help. The ranch is typic Green Valley Ranch dressing/packets, which is fine. But I love me some buttermilk ranch! Think this place will succeed, as long as it keeps its wings freshly made. The prices are better than wingstop, and they offer more than wings. Like fish, pastrami sandwiches and that's already a bonus! I will come back to try the other flavors. Wish I could try them all in one visit! read more
