    New York Steak Special
    George A.

Had a late Saturday night at Wings in Richmond, B.C. Checked out their New York steak special with gravy--total flavor explosion! Those sriracha and lime wings were off the charts. Sipped on a super smooth Fiji beer lager. Can't wait to dive into more of their specials. The staff? Absolute legends, as per usual!

Soft opening of Wings Richmond today. The place is spacious and located near Ironwood Mall. It has the same specials as other Wings location. The owner took over the Original Joe's location in April and renovated the place, install all new equipment and trained all new staff for this location in 2 months. Pretty impressive, eh? Foodwise.... it tastes the same as other Wings at other branches and a wide selection of beer and alcohol. So happy that it is finally opened on Richmond.

    What a joke

I ordered the chicken quesadilla. The order I got m have been the kids meal because it was absolutely pathetic! I know costs have gone up everywhere but if you are going to jack up the price at least give the right size quesadilla.

Today was a special anniversary for us and we wanted to celebrate at a restaurant. We hadn't been to a dine-in for like 3 months and weren't sure if this place was open, but it was! YAY! We were welcomed by a masked server and asked to give a phone number and a name, which is totally understandable but an interesting experience due to coronavirus situation. This place is very spacious and they have booths where you are kind of isolated from each other, so it feels pretty safe in the midst of pandemic. The food was very good but came in big portions so we couldn't finish it. Good thing they gave us a nice little canvas takeout bag along with boxes. The servers both had a mask on and they were both super nice. :)

    $80 worth of food

Sorry Wings, not impressed. The wings are dry, and pulled pork sandwiches and fries look like a 7-11 microwave special. You need to do a much better job to get my future business. I feel a lot of scorn by you, as a customer. $80 dinner? Go elsewhere.

Decided to give them as they are close to home. Setting and seating is quite spacious, open window with lots of sunlight making this place quite family friendly. I went at an odd hour after an outing so the restaurant is quite. We were greeted fairly quickly as we walk it, and our server came shortly after. We ordered from the main menu, kids menu as well as happy hour menu to get a taste of everything. Kid menu - just under $10 with 1 entree, 1 side, drink and ice cream dessert. My little ordered Alfredo pasta, entree was good portion and hot. The pasta is garlicky with just right amount of sauce for my little. I suggest to ask for extra cheese for the pasta. For side, he order steamed veggie which have broccoli and carrot, nothing was added with steam veggie, my kid loves it just that way. Drink is just fountain variety. Wings!! - we ordered from happy hour which is $7 for wings and fries, 5 wings and a plate of fries seems a bit on the high end in price. All 4 orders of wings were big and juicy, it is served on top of fries which tasted very much like McCain's. I order both wet and dry. Sriracha honey, Korean sesame as well as honey garlic. They all taste similar (perhaps because they all have honey?). Dry wings I order maple bourbon, which we mainly only taste cinnamon. Also ordered nacho, decent size and I have to say their chips were very crispy and warm which is a plus, the cheese is stringy but there is no taste to the cheese, salad was blend as well. We also ordered beer and cookie ice cream cake, the cake was delicious. And beer was served cold, I do wish they served in frozen glass like BP thou, by mid meal my beer wasn't cold enough unfortunately.

Food 2/5 - The wings were all so dry (almost tasteless). There wasn't enough sauce or flavour. Once we asked for additional sauces, it made everything better. The burgers were very very dry as well. There were no sauce in them (we had to ask/add ketchup). Pricing 3/5 - we went on a Wednesday so we got the half off wings. The mini burgers were quite expensive considering they were nothing special - $12 for 3. Atmosphere/ service 5/5 - the restaurant is very nice and I can it see it being very popular during game nights. The service was great, a ton of staff. We didn't need to wait long at all for a seat or for our food. Overall I wouldn't come back again.

I have been here a bunch of times mostly for the wings Wednesday deals but I usually order the wings with another dish. Sometimes I can't eat all the food so I take it home. But my last visit I had a server that as nice as she was, seemed to irk me a bit that I couldn't place. I had some bones on a plate with some shrimp tails and she just came over and took my plate and emptied them in the bucket. Sure that's something I would normally do but she just decided to do it for me. Ok maybe she was trying to be helpful but when we asked for some boxes to take the leftovers home, she said that normally we can't take home wings and have to eat them all. Now that bothered me. When she said that management and corporate said it's not allowed, that really ticked me off. Seriously??? I can get chicken wings elsewhere and food that is better elsewhere and if I can't eat it all. That's ok. I can take it home. It's leftovers, isn't it?! I told her then why would I bother to go eat there if that was the case and we've eaten there a bunch of times before. Brought my family there, friends and colleagues. She did mention that some people would order a bunch and then decide to take them home but we just ordered three sets. One for me plus pasta and two for my friend but he couldn't finish them all. Just the fact that I was told that, made me decide that it's not worth it to go there anymore. Is it really worth it anymore, trying to bring them business. The owners seemed really nice but what happened that day? Hmmmmm sorry guys. No more. And feathers in my wings don't help. Now if you know me as a Yelper. I'm always trying to write something good for the community. I think maybe I just got irked in the wrong way. So my limited lunch and dinner budget dollars is going elsewhere now.

Korean sesame wings and east meet west favorite

September, 25, 2019 2 of us went there for special wings night. We had tried their... East meet west wings.... with 2 pepper logo, but it's not spicy and tasteless Red hot Nashville wings.. can tell a lot of chilli powder on top.. but tasteless Korean sesame wings.... not much sesame on it, tasteless again We still not full yet, but I gave up, I just asked the waitress for recommendations.. which wings got strong favorite? She recommended us to try Saigon sriracha honey wings... they put more sriracha on wings, but finally can taste spicy and honey, the manager gave us extra sauce for it.. it's good They got 10 pieces of wings per order. 2 beer and 2 tasteless ice tea Mocha mud pie... their menu definition said that, got almond on it... I thought this mocha mud pie just like the keg or boathouse, why not give it a try? Beside it just only $8.50. But I was so disappointed, while they gave me.. look like they bought it from supermarket or DQ.. cannot find any almond on top?! Their services are good and friendly, they gave us extra napkins without ask for it, our server came every 5 minutes and said, " is everything ok? How you like the wings , drinks or dessert?"

    These 8 wings cost $16

It's so good, I don't want others to know about this restaurant, but that's not fair to the excellent staff and restaurant. It does breakfasts and lunch/dinner. 4 of us went to lunch. The Ladies shared the calamari appetizer (good portion, with a nice sauce, don't worry about the jalapeño peppers) and the guys had the potato skins with bacon (10+ pieces, none of that 4 or 6 pieces) Lunch was Mussels (a huge plate of shells once SWMBO finished), my love had the seafood salad sandwich (with a Caesar salad which we took home). ETB had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and I had the cheeseburger with bacon added (and fries). Portions are very, very generous. Prices are "current" environment ( not high, not cheap eg. The cheeseburger with bacon and fries $22). Scenery is interesting as it's the Harbour Air terminal right on the Fraser river at YVR Airport South. Parking at the site is small but across the road is 3 hour parking that's free.

The restaurant dining area is fairly typical looking - similar to Cactus Club, Joey's and Browns. Nice enough and well kept, but nothing outstanding. We tried the following items from the Happy Hour menu: - Smashed Avocado Dip: OK. The dip itself was much spicier than expected, so my wife couldn't eat it. The tortilla chips were good, but found the taro chips not so good. - Miso Tuna Crispy Rice: Good. My favourite dishes of the night. Like a regular sushi, but using crispy rice gives it nicer texture and flavour. - Steak Frites: OK. Steak was the right doneness, but not the best quality. Fries were average, and greens were limp.
