The lady at the cash register was polite and welcoming. I tried the chapli kabob with roasted potatoes and salad. While the meat was cooked amazingly well, the dish lacked seasoning. The portions are more than enough for one person and good for the price! Service is awesome! Restaurant is not crazy busy so you can hear your friends and stay as much as you like! Nicely decorated for taking photo! Oh! I forget to mention their tea and rollet cake! Try it ! You won't be disappointed! Definitely it'll be our place from now on! We went again and our guest enjoyed a lot ! I wanted to update my review after our dinner tonight. We ordered the Soltani and shish kebab, and OMG!!! They were absolutely THE BEST kebabs we've had in the DFW area! so incredibly tender, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. We also enjoyed tea and Swiss rolls after dinner, which was the perfect ending to our meal. A special thank you to Mr. Omid for making our anniversary dinner even more memorable by lighting a candle for us. Such a thoughtful gesture! We left very happy and will definitely be back. !

Stopped by Kasra Persian Restaurant for lunch and had a solid overall experience…read more I went with the koobideh plate, which came with a very generous portion of both rice and meat. The koobideh itself was good, definitely tasty, but more in the "solid" range rather than something that really stands out compared to other spots I've tried. I also had the mast o khiar. Super fresh, really flavorful, and a big portion. I like to eat it with the bread and alongside the koobideh, which might not be traditional but I love it. I also tried the tahdig gheymeh that my friend ordered. First time having it and I'm glad I did. The rice had a nice crunch and the stew was flavorful. Not sure I'd order it normally, but worth trying. The restaurant was pretty quiet during lunch, just one other table, so service was quick and smooth. I left full and satisfied. Overall, a good spot with generous portions and solid flavors. Not the absolute best Persian food I've had, but still a place I'd come back to when I'm in the area.

You MUST try the Karahi- (Goat or Chicken - can't go wrong at all ) it's REALLY really good!!! Pair that with the soft, fluffy, Afghani naan with the sesame seeds- oof! TooOoooo Good!! Their grilled items were amazing as well- perfectly charred (not burnt) and surprisingly not too spicy as well. The service was great - quick and friendly! They also cater for parties small or large and overall their prices were pretty reasonable! I can totally see this be a regular pick up spot for us!

I recently stopped by Shahrzad Mediterranean Market & Grill in Richardson, and I have to commend…read morethem on one thing: portion sizes. Being a buffet, the food is plenty. You can pile your plate high enough to feed a small medieval village, which is good, because you're going to need all those calories to recover from the sheer emotional confusion of the experience. The portions are endless, but the flavor profile has apparently been locked in a witness protection program, because it is nowhere to be found. I ate a mountain of food that tasted politely like nothing, as if the spices took an extended vacation and forgot to notify the kitchen. To make matters worse, I scooped up some Baghali Polo, which visually looked so authentic and picturesque that it belonged in a travel magazine. Unfortunately, eating it felt less like enjoying a traditional Persian meal and more like stepping on a tactical minefield. One second you're having a pleasant texture, and the next you are crunching down unexpectedly on hard, undercooked rice bits that threaten to violently separate your molars from your jaw. The only redeeming grace of the entire operation is that the owner is genuinely one of the nicest, most welcoming human beings on the planet. He greeted me with such warmth that I couldn't even bring myself to look angry, forcing me to sit there at the all-you-can-eat bar chewing my acoustic-hazard rice with a pained, polite smile while questioning every choice that led me to that table.
