It felt less like a customer experience and more like we were sitting in the middle of an internal staff meeting. We tried to tune it out, but given our proximity, that was difficult. The situation became particularly uncomfortable while we were eating. She began telling a story involving roaches and repeatedly referenced them several times. Hearing an extended discussion about roaches while eating was enough to ruin our appetites, and we ended up pushing our food aside. We mentioned our concern to our server, but we did not expect her to address the issue herself since the concern was with the owner. Customers come to relax, enjoy a meal, and watch a game, not hear restaurant business issues or discussions about pests while dining.
