You can find a Wings Etc anywhere, but what you cannot find everywhere is a team like the current team at Wings Etc, Sturgis. It has become one of my favorite places to go. While I have some favorite food items and go-to drinks I could recommend, the one thing you will find here that is extraordinary in comparison to other establishments is the team the have dedicated to delivering those food items and go-to drinks. That is what keeps me coming back. One of my first experiences at Wings, was with one of their bartenders, Alex. Alex is extraordinary at his craft and intentional with making sure everyone at his bar is taken care of. If it is your first time, you will feel like you have been coming there for years. And, if you are a regular, well you will be welcomed with that same appreciation and gratitude that you are filling one of his bar seats. One of my favorite things to do is let a bartender do what they do best, with Alex there is artistry involved with his creations behind the bar that do not disappoint. But, Alex delivers something else even more special in the current market, he delivers acknowledgement to the customers, he remains calm and efficient on the most stressful days/nights behind the bar and still ensures your experience and service do not disappoint. Not only do those characteristics shine through to the individuals he serves. He gives the same respect and leadership to the team he is working with. There is a mutual respect with the team that allows them to work together as servers and bartenders should to provide top notch service, in a time where everyone is running short staffed. With time, I have had the opportunity to get to know others on the Sturgis Wings Etc Team equally as well as Alex, and they are the reason I come back each time. The Sturgis location is a talented group of individuals who understand the importance of customer experience and deliver each time. Chels, Aly, Peter, Regina, Kayla, Tyler (and I am sure I am forgetting one or two) thank you for the hours you put in, the investment in delivering quality customer experience to those that dine in your establishment time and time again. I posted this on the Wings, Etc. website but feel this site will give a wider audience my thoughts. I go to the Sturgis, MI Wings, Etc. location a couple times a month and have discovered that you have one of the best servers I have encountered at any restaurant. Peter is a personable man, very attentive to the needs of his customers, going above and beyond the call of duty. For example, I always get a glass of ice water with my coffee so I can put a few cubes in the coffee such that I can drink it immediately. I asked for a spoon and explained why. Not only did he bring me a spoon, he brought a small bowl of ice so that I didn't even need to dip into the glass of water. There's a fine line between the obsequious bootlicker of a waiter who seems to reappear every 15 seconds to inquire about your needs to those who bring the food and then show up again only when summoned for the check. He resides in that small area in the middle where those two extremes are balanced perfectly. He's nice, always smiling, and seems to care about connecting with and pleasing the customer. In other words, he's your ideal employee. You have a treasure there, don't lose him if you can avoid that disaster. After my initial pleasure in dealing with Peter, I will continue to ask to be seated in his area every time. If he asks for a $1 raise, give him $2 so as not to lose him :) read more

Wow, don't go here! Went for dinner on Sunday and music was turned up a bit louder than usual. To my surprise the lyrics of the song played on the speakers across an entire public restaurant included words that start with 'N' and start with 'P' with descriptions of action between those nouns. Are you kidding me? At a volume louder than normal. In a public restaurant. Who is running this place, a bunch of 18 year olds? No class, won't ever go back. No wonder the place is empty. Luckily we did not have our children with us, as I am sure I would have IMMEDIATELY walked out if they had been there with me. Great place to throw a party! With the huge game room that has pool, darts, ski ball, basketball, air hockey, and more! I threw my daughters birthday party here and it was nothing shy of awesome:) the food options were great , no less wings and appetizers were the perfect finger foods for a bunch of 9 and 10 year olds.
