This restaurant is exactly what the name sounds like. A lot of fried food and chicken wings and hamburgers and bar type food. The best thing about this restaurant is the location right on the water. We sat outside on the top deck and watched the boats go by and it was actually a beautiful evening so we had a really enjoyable time, sitting here and eating, our waitress kept coming back. She brought the bill out very early while we were eating and kept coming to check to see if we had paid which I thought was unusual because you don't normally pay for a male in the middle of eating. I got the chicken salad and I was able to get it with grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was very good. My friend got the. Ultimate nacho which on the menu says it's for four people and he just about finished it himself so either he was really hungry or it was not as big as they claim to me. Just a scoop of chili (tasted like Hormel) and a little sour cream and lettuce. No straws or silver ware brought to our table. We asked but it wasn't brought so we took it from a neighboring table that had left after no one coming to take their order after 20 minutes. We had a very disappointing trip here. It has been a while since we tried this restaurant, and will probably be a long while before I try it again. Drinks- unfortunately when ordering a flight, multiple re-picks is had to be made, as they were out of 2 beers chosen, but the waitress was not aware. Two of these beers tasted flat terrible (ciders). Later during dinner the waitress brought a few small tasters of the two poor tasting beers and said the bar tender had tried them and something was odd so they changed the kegs. We declined to try the new samples. No discount was given for this even though they indicated the beers did not taste right. My child dropped their drink cup and of course it broke (styrofoam) followed by a panic and they dropped their ranch cup on the floor. I picked up the ranch cup, and placed it onto the bowl of celery that was on the table, as no one wanted the celery. I worked on wiping up the ranch while the waitress assisted wiping up the soda. The waitress then took the celery bowl with the dirty ranch clup and dumped it on top of my plate of wings so she could use it for clean up. This was by far a pathetic move on her part. No refill was offered for the spilled drink. I rarely tip low, but this time it was only 10%- probably still high given she dumped something ON TO MY FOOD. Also, I would not recommend the "Nashville hot" flavor. It was very sweet, brown, and zero spice. Im not even convinced I received the right sauce, but the waitress said it was it. Perhaps it's best described as an alternative to Buffalo wild wings. There are TVs displaying sporting events although admittedly not as many as Buffalo wild wings. The menu is rather similar as they specialize in burgers ribs and wings. There are two levels And arcade games in the basement. There is also outdoor seating right next to the black river. There's also a microbrewery connected to the place The food is nothing to write home about but it's more than acceptable as well. Short day trip took us to Port Huron to watch the large ships move through the Saint Clair River to and from Lake Huron. The restaurant we chose was all about the view on the deck of the Saint Clair River and the Black River. First off, the server was very attentive and cheerful. I ordered the low cal dish preparing for Hawaiian trip. The salad had ample chicken, it tasted fine but I would have liked a more robust seasoning on it. I like strong flavors. The veggies where fresh, which was nice, included cucumbers, multi colored peppers, tomato and onion. Husband ordered the Philly Cheese steak and he said it was nicely prepared and tasty. He chose the tater tots for his side. It was a nice experience seated out on the deck watching the waterway below. The weather was perfect for dining outside. We were treated to the drawbridge rising up to allow a boat to go through. We ordered a mimosa and had to turn it back in because it was flat; they confirmed it was the end of the bottle. I went with a Long Island which was pretty good. The location and views are excellent. From the street not so much, but that's the Port Huron area. Good place to come by boat. Easy to get to. So I had mixed feelings coming here because before this place became wings it was a different restaurant that I really enjoyed but unfortunately the management and staff wasn't on par and I think that's what killed their business. Came here on Independence Day since they were the only people open in town and we were really hungry. I definitely did check out the menu before coming to make sure they had vegetarian options which they did have a beyond burger so definitely came in to check it out. Really enjoyed the vibe coming in since everyone's old friend lady and polite in a place looks like it's been updated. So the Beyond burger was amazing. The Mac & cheese was just OK nothing special about it. Felt like something cheaply made but maybe some like it but I didn't. The tater tots were basic tater tots but still good enjoy them for sure. I'll for sure be checking out this place more in the future with some friends because they do have a decent menu. read more
