Tasted as fresh as if the chef fished them out of the water only an hour earlier. I'm from Florida and fussy about my fish tacos. I rate these as excellent. The meal wasn't as pricey as anticipated for the ambiance and view and food. On a separate note, we were visiting the lighthouse and asked about the restaurant and the woman at the gift shop recommended it and said the thing that she liked about the restaurant the best was every single item on the menu featured something from Michigan. Perhaps it is just the taste of the people in the area...they like what they like. The Entrees on the menu were somewhat diverse and it looks like they are trying to upscale a little.
