This is a local favorite. Their wings are awesome. Everything's pretty cheap. The place on the inside is totally busted looking but that's kind of the appeal at the same time. Parking is pretty easy. The staff there are awesome and the service is good. read more

Great wing place hidden in little ole York SC. Used to be called Wing King. We were regulars on Thursday's when they did music bingo. Just got out of the habit of going. Went on National Wing Day to celebrate! We got a bone in and boneless. I got the all drums, crispy, Smoking Hot Wings. And yes, they are smoking hot... lots of spice... not for the faint hearted. I wish they weren't so "sloppy". Too much sauce. But wow are they good! Wifey got the Parmesan and loved them. Boys got smoking hot and Cajun I believe. All good. Fries are crinkle cut kind but seasoned well and tasty. Heinz ketchup in them there red squeeze bottles. Thumbs up on that! They have Copper on draft. Will be back much sooner than later. read more

What a disaster of a potentially amazing restaurant!!! Is anyone in charge at this location in York SC?? Anyone?? I stopped in the other day with three friends, mid-afternoon. Plenty of open tables and about three waiters / waitresses, plus at least two runners and at least one bartender. We had to seek someone out to ask about seating and were told we could sit anywhere. So we sat. Then we sat some more. Then we decided to go find some menus after about 15 minutes. The menus were grease covered with food inside and stuck to the pages. Gross, but we picked out what we wanted so we could order when our server finally showed up. In the meantime, another table was having a difficult time. We overheard they had a super long delay on the food and when it finally showed up it was both cold and undercooked. Complaints to their server were met with angry glares from the server who ran back and forth to the kitchen with their food. All of us sitting at the table tried to politely catch her eye unsuccessfully on her multiple trips past us. So, we sat some more. And then a little more. When we hit the 30 minute mark with not even a "hello", "we're so crushed right now" (which they weren't), or "I'll be right with you", we decided to leave and go down the road to Hoof and Barrel, where we dropped $325 on food and drinks watching the games and having a great time. I hate wasting time at a restaurant, but I have to believe that if anyone cares about Wing King, they could make A LOT of money. There are not many restaurants in York and it's a real shame. Get your act together guys, people want to give you money for what you have: food and service! Do it well, do it fast and at a minimum respect your customers. I haven't lived in York in almost 6 years, but every time I come home to visit family, it's a must-go-to restaurant we visit. I will say service has always been hit-or-miss but the food is consistently good. My experience the yesterday, 04/22/24, was the best one I can remember in the last 10 years. Service was great, it was like a ghost town in there, the food was ok, very greasy, got the wings, sauce was great chicken a little too dry, my child loved the nachos and queso. Prices were a little high for what we got. $14.50 for 10 wings, $19.95 for 15 wings. It was an alright experience, I would give 3 stars but our waitress was great always checking on us. read more

Disgusting! I did not get what I ordered. Evidently, they don't like To-Go orders as my food was WAY undercooked and the raw fries were supposed to be medium but were very greasy, soggy, wet, and cold. My med well burger was almost raw. Never again! read more

The service was horrible. Waitress was in the kitchen on her phone the whole time. Only came to our table once while we were there.

Food was not good. Table was so sticky that my clothes stuck to it. It was just a nasty experience all the way around.

We stopped for lunch while at Summerfest. The food and service were great. Will definitely go again when we are in the area.

Absolutely love their food! I had the fried mushrooms and lemon pepper wings I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area!

The chicken fingers were chewy, fries were ice cold, we were given soaking wet plates to eat on, but that wasn't even the worst part. The entire time we were eating all we could hear was the waitresses complaining and making fun of the younger waitress working. Talking about how bad they want to quit and how they hated working there.. All the old women think they are the best thing since sliced bread but they're the rudest people on earth. Owner needs to get his/her staff in check before they run even more customers out the door. read more

Smelled so bad that I thought I was going to throw up. The bathrooms smelled so bad that the dining area smelled of urine. NASTY!!!!

Food is always good, one of our favorites in down town York. They have a reputation for bad waitresses, and tonight we had a young girl, half red half black hair, very rude and rolled her eyes at my family for asking for a to-go box. Thankfully she wasn't our main waitress! read more
