My wife and I ate here just before going out of town. Not a great experience and not much customer service to recover. I had a salad that I'e ordered many times before. The salad was good however I do enjoy purchasing some nuclear sauce to go on top of my salad to mix in. I'm not sure how they fill up those little cups but almost every time I order one it is always half full. My drink... I always enjoy their Come machine because of all the options. I had my cup and tried to get "something" with zero sugar. Wasn't happening because all of the zero drinks were out of order. So I went back to the counter and asked if they had a working machine behind the counter and she said NO. They only had tea that was unsweetened. Not really what I wanted to hear. Not a great experience. I think they should have warned anyone before purchasing a drink that they were limited in options. Zaxbys can do better. read more

Took almost 30 mins to get a mobile order that was supposed to be ready before we even got there according to the app. Food was lukewarm by the time we got it. My drink was melted completely which is crazy considering they charge extra for the frozen lemonade. I paid for a large fry and I barely even got the regular size portion. Customer service is always mediocre especially if you go after the morning shift is gone. I'm always super nice and they are almost always funny acting. Unacceptable. Friendly staff but very slow. They prioritize the drive thru line. I went on a Saturday night around 9:15. There were 6 cars in line yet to order. So I decided to go inside. I ordered and proceeded to watch the car that was last in line get their food first. Not only that, 2-3 additional cars received their order before me. Fast, clean and quick and they make some damn good chicken. The staff was friendly and helpful because I have never eaten at this chain before. The chicken tenders were crispy and hot and so many dipping sauce choices. Their ZAX sauce is a spiced tomato ranch combo and it's great on everything. They would have gotten 5 stars but no WiFi!!!! I don't eat out often as I love to cook but how can you go wrong with a salad, right? I have always loved their salads and getting home late I decided on one for dinner, cobb salad with grilled chicken. I get home to discover I have a bowl half full of lettuce, some cheese and about 7/8 chucks of grilled chicken. I was so disgusted with it I put it in the fridge, ate some fruit and called it a night. If you're craving Zaby's make sure to avoid this one. I would have rather driven an additional 15 minutes to ensure I had a better experience than I did. I sat at the speaker box for 13 minutes before anyone took my order. I ordered a wings and things traditional, I inquired how much additional it would be to substitute the fries for the cheddar bites, I was told I don't know how to do that. I know for a FACT I have done this in the past. I'm then told it would take an additional 10 minutes for the traditional wings to be done. For the amount I paid tonight, I could have went to a sit down restaurant and probably still ate and left faster than I did going to the "drive through" here. read more

Zaxbys is absolutely amazing!!! They're fast and oh so delicious. I've never been to a zaxbys where customer service was bad and the wings are always delicious. They have an app where you can get free rewards, it isn't based on how much you spend there. I like that a lot. I've been to a good few fast food restaurants where they will refuse your order if there will be a wait for that item, which I think is absurd. Sometimes I do have to wait for traditional wings here but they always tell me how long the wait might be, they're always early bringing it out, and it is always worth the wait. If you haven't been to Zaxby's, please go. The wings are my favorite menu item. (Get them Nuclear!) Any of their sandwiches will also satisfy your cravings. You won't regret it. There is high turnover at this location, plus the frontline is not very pleasant. The young lady who was bagging the items was smiling AND more personable than the order-taker, who is frontline . I know- it's fast-food; however, it's premium fast food. Need more than one upfront during busy times, especially lunch crowd. read more

We love Zaxby's chicken. I don't believe I have ever gotten something I didn't love at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxing also. For sweet tea lovers, it's just right. And for me, the ice is a huge bonus (it's the small round ice). Just a nice, clean and reliable place for a quick bite. read more

I almost walked out when I saw the prices, but I was hungry and had already come from an appt. in Gastonia and didn't feel like looking for somewhere else. I wanted a salad. The person who took my order at lunch was extra nice. I'm sorry I didn't get his name. I got a salad and sweet tea. Ridiculous prices. The total was over $11. The sweet tea was really good and I like the type of ice they have. There wasn't much to the salad, but it was fresh and the packet Ranch dressing was good. I paid $2 more for a Cobb salad over the house salad because the fellow said it had bacon and egg on it. It had a little small amount of bacon bits and something that looked like it could be egg crumbs. One crouton. What looked like one cherry tomato sliced up. Maybe a half of a chicken breast chopped. I'd say a table spoon of shredded cheese and one piece of the thinnest white bread toast I've ever seen. I probably won't be back unless I am out and desperately thirsty, I may buy a tea. The food the other customers had looked good and they all seemed to eat it. The prices are just too high. If I hadn't been fasting in order to have bloodwork and extremely hungry, I would have gone to the grocery store and bought my own salad makings. Lesson learned. read more
