Culver's in Belmont gets 5 stars for very important reasons. We have never been to Culver's. We normally avoid fast food entirely. But, a good friend told us to go there at least once, So we did. We will likely be back again in the future. The #1 great thing was, the first thing we noticed, is a clean dining room. A clean counter. Plenty of light. Super clean place. Secondly, our cashier was a giant man, very young, He kind of greeted us like it was his first day at work and he was proud to be there. That guy knew everything about everything on the menu. He was kind and helpful and should probably get a raise. #3 We just had to sit down and wait for our food. Our table was clean. The floor was clean. The windows were clean. There were families sitting around enjoying a day out. I could see the constant flow of cars picking up their food from the drive-thru. Lots of cars. Evidently, Culver's prepares food to order, so it takes a minute, but it's totally worth it. #4 The food. My wife really enjoyed her Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was crispy, fresh, and great. She couldn't finish it, so I did. Her fries were fries. Nothing to love or hate there. Her strawberry milkshake was pretty good. I just got a Deluxe Single Burger, and it was about as great as you could have made it in a restaurant. I wish I'd ordered a double, because the hamburger patty was a bit thin, but I expected that. My onion rings were great. "Extra Crispy" according to my cashier's recommendation. #5 Price. We paid $23 and change for possibly the best fast food we've had in years. I thought my burger was a bit thin, but the price was reasonable for what I received. Regardless, it looked great. Fresh tomato and lettuce, nobody smashed it into a hockey puck. It was really nice to see that at a fast food place. If Culver's in Belmont NC keeps doing everything this way, we'll be back on those off days and power outages simply because it's the best burger place we've ever seen. Next time, I'll be trying their fish sandwich, because I was told it's really great. My wife will probably get another Crispy Chicken Sandwich because there's absolutely nothing bad about it. We stopped at Culver's for their consistently good custard, this time getting a custard milk shake. The service was great, the shake was not so much. If you're here for the custard, don't have them dilute it with milk and add Hershey's syrup. It takes the great flavor and makes it not so great. That said, the service was friendly and fast. The chicken tenders were hard & had no taste. After asking for a refund the so called manager stated they don't give refunds just because you don't like something. After spending $40 for 2 we will not ever go back & this was our first time going. Terrible food & awful customer service. read more

Expecting another fast food establishment but was pleasantly surprised with the food, service and cleanliness of the restaurant. The bacon burger and butter burger deluxe basket orders, Atlantic cod fish baskets and chicken sandwiches were all made fresh and cooked to order. The 5-10 minute wait for your food is worth it ( your food is delivered directly to your table) and you will not be disappointed. The burgers and sandwiches were delicious: hot, juicy and crispy and all were cooked to perfection. Kids meals even come with a free ice cream. The staff are welcoming, attentive and respectful something you don't see at many "fast food " establishments. Overall a great first time experience and one "fast food" establishment I will definitely revisit when I'm back in the Belmont area again. If you haven't visited Culver's yet I 'd highly recommend trying as you will not be disappointed. read more

Order: North Atlantic cod sandwich with crinkled fries and sweet tea I heard they make all their food "cook to order." They have you pull into a parking spot if you ordered via drive thru. I probably waited between 5-10 minutes before someone brought out the food. This was my first time trying Culver's so I wasn't sure what to expect. I had no previous impression of the place other than it's just another fast food chain. I was blown away! The fish sandwich is like no other. It's moist but crispy and super light. It was served with lettuce, cheese and tartar sauce. I don't like tartar sauce and had asked for it on the side (but they smeared it on there anyways) but I'm not upset about it. It added an additional flavor without that harsh horseradish taste (which is my experience with most tartar sauce). Overall good first impression. read more

Dear Culver's Corporate, I recently visited your location Belmont, North Carolina - USA; - My visit was @ 3PM on Saturday - 28 December 2024; - This location was extremely busy; - This was my 3rd Visit to a Culver's; - Prior to this - I have visited your Salisbury, NC location x 2; - I find it incredible, how the quality of food can vary from location to location. My visit was a total disappointment. Restroom was overcrowded and can't handle the large / unsophisticated crowd that frequents this location. Food was terrible; I attempted to send my Fries back; - in the pictures attached - you will see how undercooked they were. Fries are not supposed to be like that. Burger, also - was not cooked appropriately. Someone needs to take a look at this location; - You have tons of staff standing around, socializing and doing nothing. I'm not kidding! This location is incredibly disorganized. Seems like the "Inmates" are running the asylum for lack of better words; - Avoid this location at all costs. I'm humbly requesting a refund! read more

Culver's has been my fave fast food burger restaurant for the past 3-years! Good food with a good selection. Order at the counter or scan a code from your table and they'll deliver it to you, either way you order. Prices are reasonable. Cheese curds, steamed broccoli, a hefty fried fish sandwich, and plenty of ice cream choices are the non-typical selections compared to many ff burger joints. Typical casual fast food setting. I love the thin and crispy burgers and silky smooth custard that Culver's has to offer. I also love that although this would be considered a fast food chain, the quality and service is better than what seems to be the standard for such establishments. The prices are reasonable and the food is made fresh to order, what's not to love?? My only complaint would be the tables and floor could be a bit cleaner but it wasn't overly dirty. I was excited to have a new fast food option in the area, Culver's had been open a few weeks before I visited, and honestly. I am not impressed. I ordered the original burger and a fish (Cod) sandwich. Yes, both for me because that is what I wanted to try to judge the worthiness of this new to me fast food joint. Drive through process was exceptional! I wish the food had been as good. The burger looked like a pre frozen patty and the taste was the same. The fish sandwich was beautiful, but one bite had the batter falling right off of the fish. Needless to say, I did not finish either and will probably not return unless I have a strange craving for a mediocre fried cod sandwich, or to maybe try some frozen custard. read more

The concretes we got were awesome. Dairy Queen can take note for the Blizzards they say can be turned upside down (and they can't without running everywhere). The ice cream is mad creamy, and the mix-ins are plentiful. But the hot food was neither hot nor fresh. The cheese curds were a day old and reheated at best. And whatever that Wisconsin burger was on rye bread--nuh uh. That's a waste of $4. The taste and size are just pointless and non-existent. Won't be getting anything but ice cream here from now on unless it's free. read more

We've eaten at Culver's 3 times since they opened. Their burgers and shakes are excellent!

Stopped by the Belmont location on our way back from Charlotte. First visit to a Culver's. Cashier Emily took time to explain the burger options. Enough items to "have it your way ". The burger had a good char-grilled taste. Double burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, raw onions, pickles, and mustard. Grilled onions are also an option. Onion rings were better than a lot of others. Wife's chocolate Concrete with salted caramel was ok but would have been better vanilla. We got hooked on Concretes. (Custard) 30 years ago at Goodberrys in Raleigh. Culver's has an extensive menu with seafood (Cod, Walleye). Instead of ordering at the counter you can sit at a table, scan a code, and order online. Either way, someone will bring the order to your table. read more

I asked for something simple.. I asked for my concrete to be put in a pint container because I had other errands to run and I didn't want an open concrete just sitting in my car. I really don't think that's too much to ask. The sweet register girl was nice and she tried to help but the manager told me no. I don't know why you can't give customers "to go" containers for concretes. Heck, I would have even paid an up charge for the container if that's the issue. Bad business practices. I have been several times now & each time the service has been impeccable. We have gone inside and ate at a table. We've also done drive-through and taking it home. Everything has been delicious and orders have been correct with the exception of one. I had ordered a concrete mixer and it wasn't correct. I let them know and they fixed it immediately. We lost our local DairyQueen a while ago and this is better than they were so totally get the concrete mixer with your choice of items. The Atlantic cod is hand, battered and has a nice crispy coating on it. The cheese curds are a must try. My daughter loves the butter burgers and the corn dogs. And everyone that I've taken here all love the ice cream. read more

Since this place is close by, I have given it a couple of tries. Both times, I went for the hamburger carry out. First the walkup service at the counter leaves a lot to be desired. First time, I placed an order and gave them my first name. I stood back while others placed their order expecting someone to call my name when my order was ready. After a while, I saw a girl come from behind the counter and walk by with a bag heading toward the dining area. After several minutes she popped back up next to me and kinda got in my face and asked if I was "my name" . I indicated I was, so she hands me the bag and walks away. No apologies. No explanation. When I got home, literally 3 minutes away, the fries were already getting cold. After some time, i decided to give them a second chance. Same order as before. This time, they gave me a number. I stood back with the number held up watching multiple people order and multiple people walk away with their food. After it looked like nobody behind the counter was doing anything (like there was a lull) I walked up and asked one of them to check on my order. There was much confusion behind the counter and they finally found my order sitting on a shelf unwrapped. So they wrapped it and handed it to me with no explanation or apology. So I rate them a three on food quality, and a 1 on customer service. I won't go back even though it is very convenient. read more
