I went to the Waterbury location because it is close to my job. Parking right in front. You can take out, eat inside, or eat outside at one of the tables. You can order online through the app or at the kiosk in front. Technology is amazing. I ordered with the staff. Very polite and friendly. The choice was tough for me. After bouncing back and forth I went with the dumplings. I figured anything I chose would be great. I was correct. The dumplings were what I expected and so much more thanks to the Mexican street corn that was added on top. I went with the waffle fries dusted with garlic Parmesan. Crispy and delicious, the garlic Parmesan put them over the top. Five stars! read more

I have not been here in a long time. They have redone the Waterbury location and it looks so good! Their wings are so saucy and so delicious! I used to come here often because I liked a specific sauce but they don't make it anymore. However the do have a huge variety of flavors and they do not disappoint. The wings aren't the biggest and I'm not a fan of tenders. I do plan on coming back to try the tenders and dumplings. A bit pricey but I recommend. read more

I had a take out from wing it on food truck. I went for Dirty Rub and Hot Buffalo. Hot Buffalo was really flavorful and moist. Dirty rub was flavorful and crispy. I loved both. These 2 were the spiciest items on the menu. But it was just the right amount of spices for me. May be the other sauces are bland. read more

I was looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat that wasn't crazy expensive but wasn't too poor of quality. This was it. The wings were delicious and the tenders, although oddly big, they were tasty. The sauces were all delicious. Door dash service was great. I have no complaints with my meal. So I wanted to see what the service would be like if I walked in. Much better customer service. I updated my Google review, but forgot to update here. Wings good. They were able to make 1 of their sauces spicier for me. Most importantly GET THE STREET CORN. Did I mention the it's nice & clean. At the time of day I went. There was no crowd inside, so the smallness didn't bother me. There is space to eat inside, but I took my order to go, so I can be messy in the comfort of my own home. ***3rd Update: I tried this place a 3rd time. Gave Uber Eats another try. My order came with everything it was supposed to. It took a lil longer to prepare than estimated. But it was Saturday night & probably busy. So no biggie. So, this review is based on a to-go order which I was not the one to pick up so I have no clue what the actual restaurant looks like. It's very convenient that you can order online. I ordered with my friends who've eaten wings many times so they knew what to do. You can get your wings extra crispy -- sign me up!! I like crispy outside. I decided to get the honey heat and six wings. We also got two orders of fries. We did waffle with chipotle seasoning and regular fries with buffalo seasoning. Food was ready on time and I asked for a side of ranch that was HUGE. My wings were awesome. Crispy outside and still juicy inside. I ate all 6 which I didn't think was possible. The fries also were done very well. I loved the seasonings. My friend got boneless wings and I imagined they'd be your typical fake breaded wings but they weren't. Wing it On is a great wing spot for bone-in or boneless wings. They offer a huge selection of flavors from mild, to spicy, to sweet, and everything in between. Normally I order the bone-in wings with shogun sauce (shogun has a sweet and spicy flavor similar to a sweet chili sauce or a spicy teriyaki). But this time I decided to try a different sauce. I got a 12 count bone-in wing and I got 1/2 of them sauced with shogun and I got the other 1/2 sauced with their Red, White, and Blue sauce. The Red, White, and Blue sauce is made with their mild hot sauce mixed with their blue cheese dip. I asked for my wings to be fried crispy and heavily sauced. I don't think anyone ever needs to say extra bc their already a step ahead of wing lovers Today I had to call Carlos the manager for some help & he was A1...all that happened was my 30pc 1/2 lemon pepper 1/2 sho-gun were put in the same bin a few of my lemon pepper were showered w. The delish sho-gun !! Problem is those seasoning do not mix well I brought em back & dinner was served !! I think Natasha was the chef both nites, i asked for flats & she's done a great job! Yes it's a whole 2.00 up charge but I don't like the drumsticks part of the wing!! Don't come for me!! I can't be alone that's y it's on the menu & drumsticks only is 1.00 up charge ! Decided to do a mobile order for Wing It On for Pickup. The service is VERY quick and when I arrived all I had to do was say was my name and Door Dash. Boom! Here's my order. Got home and opened up my wings. I ordered Shogun and my wife ordered Honey Blues. For those of you not familiar with Shogun its a teriyaki based sauce with chili's so its pretty spicy. Very delicious. Very happy. Honey Blues were great too. I decided to ordered their garlic parmesian fries. We were expecting fries shaken around with garlic and shredded or grated parmesian cheese. Not what we expected. They had minced garlic on them but they were covered in this white cream sauce. They were good but the smell was little overwhelming and they were very had to eat. It was like digging for gold to find the French fry. I'll be back but I will AVOID those fries. Also...no waffle fries on menu yet for Waterbury??? read more

I love this place. Prices are fair and the food is really good. My go to are the sandwiches - boy are they delicious. My fave: Sho-stopper- Perfectly fried and crispy buttermilk chicken slathered slathered in shogun sauce , cheddar cheese, bacon, red onion and ranch. Wing It On always has great food and great customer service. I have never had any issues. My only concern is that when I call to place an order I'm limited in the amount of flats I can order. I often want to order 24 flats but I think the limit is like 12. Folks may want to order more than 24. read more

There boneless wings and tenders need more crunch and battering, crunchy is where it's at, plsssss fix it! So 5 years after my initial review and I'm still in love with this place, potentially unhealthy levels of love. They recently added some new chicken sandwiches that are just absolutely WILD. The CBR-wich I just finished was one of the most enjoyable things I've ever put in my mouth, and if you knew my mouth you'd know that's saying a lot. I know that this is the "original" location and that they are currently and actively franchising, so if you see one pop up near you I'd make that happen quickly.
