First time trying this place and we will definitely be back. It's a small little place but the perfect size for a dine in and carry out restaurant. We walked in and sat ourself. We were greeted immediately and were able to take out orders. Our server was Jenn. She was so friendly and extremely attentive. I was invited to meetup with a few friends to try Wing It. The service that we were given was really great! The owner was so nice and appreciative for everyone that dined in. While sharing the history of Wing It you could see the passion and pride that he has for his business during the conversation. We ordered 4 different types of wings and some corn nuggets. The wings are the BEST WINGS I've ever had. They were fresh, hot, tender and packed with flavor. Although, we went on All you can eat wing night it was pretty well maintained and it didn't add any wait time to our big order. Today was my first visit to "Wing It" in the Mandarin section of Jacksonville. Definitely will be back again soon! I arrived during a busy lunch time around noon. Staff was busy and were very attentive in welcoming me to sit and place my order right away. Shoutout to my server Heather and management for their friendly and professional hospitality! I ordered a 10 piece honey barbecue wing lunch special that included fries, sliced carrot and celery sticks. Was extra hungry so also treated myself to an order of fried pickle chips! The food was served fresh, hot and was all amazingly delicious! The dining area is comfortable along with its seating. Plenty of parking located in the shopping plaza. Came here with my friends for $.75 wing day absolutely love that concept. I got 10 wings all flats for only nine dollars! The service was decent, but the wings were better. They don't have a ton of sauce options either buffalo or garlic based sauces, which were both options I chose. I was definitely satisfied and enjoyed the experience. First time here and for the all you can eat wings! I didn't do the special but my boyfriend did and enjoyed every single plate lol. I myself order the buffalo and Cajun Ranch wings and they were so yummy. The appetizer sampler was also a great starter. This place is pretty packed due to the specials they offer but the staff tries their best to get you seated quick. Let's start with - we walked out after ordering. Should have walked out as soon as we walked in. It smelled like bad oil, our feet stuck to the floor and the tables were dirty. Two visible workers just sitting at the bar. We seated ourselves and a girl came over to ask for our drink order. Not unpleasant, but not pleasant either. We ordered drinks and mentioned we needed some time to look at the menu. A lady came back to take our order...At this point, our order doesn't matter, we didn't eat anything. Well, a bite of frozen fried mushrooms was taken, and spit out. And then we left. There was no one else in the restaurant, they had all the time in the world to get it right. The place was just gross. It's unfortunate, the other location was pretty good. I'd like to say give it a try but they really need to pull off a serious overhaul of staff, cleaning, and food in order to make it worthwhile. read more

One thing I'll admit about the visit was that the wings were pretty good. Unfortunately though, the service was some of the worst I've ever received. There were two servers (that sort of doubled as bartenders in the small space) and while the younger one seemed nice and cordial, the older one must've been trying to turn in an audition tape for the Wicked Witch of the West. She practically snapped at me, cutting me off, when I asked if this Wing It was related to the old one - where I had many great childhood memories and just... well, wanted to support if this was its new life. Throughout the experience, she was as short, mean, and nasty as could be, which was a real shame. The ambiance was... okay. There was what looked like a poker tournament going on, and absolutely nothing else. This new location is tiny compared to the last one, and it was a huge mess where the staff were blatantly standing around on their phones and ignoring people. There was no house music at all. Dunno if that was because they wanted to quiet the music down so the poker players could hear better, or because there just isn't any music going on, but it was uncanny, especially when the only background noise otherwise was listening to that angry old server complain to people. Won't be back despite all the childhood birthdays I had at the original location, and that's a shame that really hurts to admit. read more

So glad that Wing-It has reemerged like a Phoenix. I didn't realize how much I missed a proper chicken wing. The last three years have been quite miserable attempting to find wings that compare to here. Alas, the answer was A NEW Wing-It! This is a much smaller version and is rather simple. There are 4 booths and 3 6-person tables as well as abput 5 bar spots. The walls are white and empty, hopefully just for now. I'd really love to see some Bills mafia gear on the walls like the old Wing-It to give it some flair and energy. This place is very easy to miss, mainly because the sign on the building is still for a Columbian restaurant. Hopefully that gets remedied soon. The food is still just as incredible as always. The corn nuggets still taste great. The wings are still served in the same homemade sauces and are still properly served crispy and well cooked. read more

We had an appetizer, my wife had the wings which were good and I had the "smash burger" which was NOT smashed at all. Was so thrilled to see Wing It is back! We went on our lunch hour today and it did not go well. The order took 30 minutes to come out and it was wrong. When the correction came back, we had to get it to go because of how long it took. When my husband finally got to eat the now soggy lunch, it had pickles on it. The menu did not show pickles on it and so it ended up in the trash. The onion rings we great when we were there and the wing sauce is delicious. Very frustrated not to able to eat our lunch there as well as the screaming child that we got to listen to then entire time we were there. We were big fans of Wing It before and we will give them more time to get up and running before returning. read more

Glad Wing It is back in business! At first it was hard to find because there is not a large sign marking where it is. The sign is only on the window presently. Their new place is very small and would not accommodate a large group of people very well. There was a group of 8 people there when we got there but most tables were group setting for 4 people. We love their wings with the medium sauce, served with fries and raw carrots & celery w/dip. Service was prompt and friendly. It is a wonderful small business. Food is very reasonably priced. i always supported wing-it for years when my son played little league when they were at old st augustine rd. but i have to say i cant keep going to the new location! my son and his wife and i went to lunch and ordered (10) wings and fries eachat $17.95 ! that came to $1.65 per wing ! the fries were skimpy and the 3 glasses of tea were $3.99! each ! are you seriously charging $3.99 for tea? my bill came to $82 and change for lunch!!! i will be treating my sons family to outback next time! the wings were delicious as always but cant bust the budget at this place. please re-think your pricing/per value and bring back us ogs read more
