really don't give out 5 stars all too often, but this little place definitely deserves it. I found this place from a local instagram page, and i'm glad we ventured out here to check it out. This place is located next to an airstrip, towards the end when you enter into the gate. It's so cool to see planes take off and land while you enjoy a meal. We didn't go inside at all, and chose to sit outside. One suggestion for management of this place is to place fly traps outside, since there were a few flying around. We ended up getting the southern skillet and the hangar queen omelet. Both were extremely tasty and enough food to keep us full. The omelete comes with a small side and we opted to go with grits. Service was great, they came by to check in if we needed anything and were extremely friendly. PS: when you get to the gate, call the number listed to get the gate code. When you leave, it's automatic.

What a great atmosphere!! We came after our soccer game to celebrate our win. All the servers were fantastic and so friendly! The food was amazing!!! I didn't even get to take pics before we dug straight on in. The planes were also super cool but even without them it would still be a 10/10! The food and service is the reason to come to this place!!

Breakfast tacos with bacon and breakfast potatoes. Great coffee, too!!

Always friendly service and delicious food. It's fun to come and watch planes land and takeoff. The restaurant is always bright and clean. We love eating here and supporting our neighbor! The breakfast tacos are really good along with the salsa. The coffee is so good, too!!

What a fun spot on the runway! We stopped by on a Saturday morning just before 9am. I'm glad we did because it started to get busy right after we got there! The cafe is located literally on the runway and we got to see planes landing and taking off while eating. Our service was prompt and friendly and the food was surprisingly good! Get the pancake. It was the star of the show. I'm still dreaming about it.

Food was not bad. The meatloaf was tough and dry. Kids liked the pancakes. Chicken was super heavy breaded with the waffles. Great scenery with the small aircraft taking off and landing. It's worth a try if you're out that way.

What an absolutely amazing little cafe. My wife and I had a fabulous experience and we can't wait to go back. The people, the food, the atmosphere, it's all perfect. 1st, you're next to an active runway so there is entertainment almost the entire time. They have an awesome shaded patio where you can relax and take pictures of the aircraft. 2nd, the food was excellent. They are open for breakfast and lunch, Wednesday through Sunday, and on our 1st trip we went for breakfast. We'll definitely be back for that and I can't wait to try the lunch. I got the hungry hippy with jalapeños, and it was delicious. My wife got the 'First Class' and it was crazy good. The pancakes are bigger than your head, and they're so fluffy!! Truly the best pancakes in the area. The eggs were perfectly cooked and fluffy, and the bacon was also crazy good. I also particularly liked their coffee too, very smooth. 3rd, the people. All awesome. We were immediately greeted and told to sit wherever we wanted and we were served very quickly. The food came out hot and fresh and they refilled our waters and coffee constantly. I honestly can't wait to go back and I'll definitely be bringing more people because this is just such a unique experience. Everything on the menu looked awesome, I'm going to get the Hickory Smoked Chickity Wings next time! Definitely check them out!

Always new menu items to choose from. Gravy & biscuits ON POINT. Friendly & quick service - tell tale sign of a small business. You MUST try the southern Benedict & Hungry Hippy! Celebrated my mom's 68th birthday this morning, just her and me. Wing It made it extra special with bread pudding and warmed pecan sauce!!!

Listen this is one of the best places that I have found by accident. Let's start on food I had the Roasted potatoes with Gravy and scrambled eggs you can't forget the Cholula hit sauce on it gives it an extra kick. Then comes the Wings YALL the wings are smoked they are so tender and flavorful and yummy. I think they lasted a whole 5 minutes before they where gone oh the fries are season fries that you can't start eating add some secret sauce or ranch OMG. Then the Final plate now this one is my favorite plate of all time. The chicken and Waffle now the chicken is so nicely breaded and cooked to perfection. The waffle was thick and crispy and that is hard to do but it was done here. The butter just melted so perfectly throw the syrup on top and man let me tell you I almost asked for another one to go it was that good. Everything that I have had here is amazing worth the drive and definitely worth every penny. Now on to service from day one that we found this place they have treated us like family. Now the waiters and staff know us and are happy when we come. I have two kids a girl and boy and all the waiters love them. This is definitely one of our favorite places to go eat breakfast or lunch. I did mention they should do mimosas on Sundays they would make a killing. If you haven't been to this location please take time out our day and go it's a great place to eat and watch the planes come and go. All the pilots we have meet have been so nice and cool they even offered to take us for a ride but I'm To scared to get on small planes if not I would go. If you do go please be patient and tips the waiters good they do an amazing job. The cooks and management Ambiance Obviously the management is a good guy he's out there hustling and bringing out orders as well. The cooks in the back out in there busting out that food as fast as possible they are great at it. The food has great flavor no need to add extra anything like other places.

Press Café is such a cozy and beautiful place to enjoy breakfast!…read more I absolutely love the location. You can sit outside and enjoy the scenery while watching people walking, running, and riding their bikes along the trails. It's the perfect spot to grab breakfast after a workout! Parking can be a little difficult to find since so many people come to the area to exercise, but honestly, that's a small downside compared to everything else this place has to offer. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the bathrooms are nice and clean as well. They also allow pets in the outdoor seating area, which is a great bonus for pet owners! The food was amazing, and the portions and prices were very reasonable. I also love that they offer healthy options, so there's something for everyone. Overall, such a great place for breakfast, especially if you're looking for a cozy atmosphere, good food, and a nice outdoor setting. Definitely worth checking out!

I noticed my last Yelp review here was from three years ago, so we decided to wander back and give…read moreit another try. This visit, we split the quiche and the avocado toast. The quiche tasted great, but the portion was incredibly disappointing. At $22 for a single slice, it just didn't feel worth the price. We considered ordering another slice but decided against it. Even after sharing both dishes, we left still a little hungry. The portion sizes just didn't match the prices. We also ordered a mimosa carafe for $35, with mimosas 11+ a glass it just seemed to be the better option. We opted for the patio this time, and with the overcast morning, it made for a really pleasant experience. There was plenty of outdoor seating and nice views, which was definitely a highlight. The service was a bit odd. Our server seemed rushed and hovered over us at times, but then disappeared when we actually needed something. It felt inconsistent and made the experience less enjoyable. Overall, the food tasted good, and the outdoor seating is lovely, but the value just isn't there for me. Great atmosphere, but the pricing doesn't match the portion sizes.

Blue Mound Cafe Management,…read more I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the unacceptable service and pricing issues I experienced during my recent visit. As a customer for many years I had expected a much higher standard of hospitality. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. We waited 25 minutes for someone to take our food order. When the food finally arrived my order was missing items. Of handling the error with professionalism the staff openly complained nearby making my party. Me feel unwelcome and like a major inconvenience. To make things worse I was overcharged on my bill. I was charged $10.00 for a smoked sausage that is clearly listed online for $6.49. This has happened in the past, but when I'm told it'll be fixed they call it double charging. This level of unprofessionalism, poor customer service and incorrect pricing is completely unacceptable. After years of supporting Blue Mound Cafe I am now seriously reconsidering whether I will ever return. I hope this feedback leads to changes, in how your team treats customers.

When I leave, I usually take a full stack of pancakes home. At home, I melt some real butter, and put more melted butter on a pancake than it ought to have.
