Attended a work dinner here this evening and it was wonderful! Service was fantastic especially…read moresince we kept talking and not being ready for anything when they'd come over! They made recommendations on food choices and humored us when we all decided to get something different to share asking for extra plates. I ordered the pot pie and a side house salad and practically licked my plate and bowl they were so freaking good! Sadly I didn't get any pictures because I was trying to be respectful of the company I was in but the dishes were all picture perfect! Love that they have a parking lot with plenty of space and a great dining room that was easy to accommodate several large parties! Looking forward to my next visit when I move to the area soon!

They have an incredible Gluten Free selection, which is not why we went, but I noted that if you were GF, this would be your heaven-on-earth. As you may notice, the menu is on the pricier side compared to other joints in the neighborhood. I'm here to tell you, it's WORTH it! I had an absolutely delicious Pot Roast. Everyone in my group of 5 got something different but loved it just to same. Fun fact: there's a hidden speakeasy inside the restaurant you should try out before/ after/ in lieu of dinner in the main restaurant. This place is EXCELLENT! Can't wait to return now.

I'm thrilled to share that I finally stopped by Brick Store Pub last Friday! I've visited Downtown…read moreDecatur Square countless times and walked past this spot over and over but this time, I got lucky and made it in for a drink. Brick Store Pub is an incredible place. The staff are fantastic, personable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. They really know their craft and are happy to share recommendations on both drinks and food. The ambiance adds so much to the experience, I recommend you to come and relax on the patio or grab a seat at the bar. There's such a great vibe all around that makes you want to stay awhile. If you're in the area, definitely stop by, you'll enjoy every bit of the atmosphere that Brick Store has been giving all this time. I will be back!

Brick Store was literally not even 100 feet from where we went for dinner, Iberian Pig. We went upstairs to have a drink. The vibes are super cool inside this pub! In my opinion, this might be one of the best beer pubs that I have ever been to. The upstairs feels very rustic and almost like you're in a castle of some sort. In true fashion, of course I got a glass of Guinness. It was perfect! Our server was super friendly and very attentive. She even provided some suggestions based on what the others were looking for. Her name was Olivia! Brick Store also has a full food menu too, but we just came for drinks. The food menu is tradiitonal pub type food, so fish and chips, chicken pot pie, etc. It honestly looked really good! I will definitely be back here in the future!!

In fact, I'm ordering them via delivery today, yum!

Two at the bar one and two at the tables. The decor is dark and moody , as a pub should be. It has a bit of mystery with music playing on a jukebox that you can access through an app. There are bicycles mounted in the front windows showcasing a sporty vibe with Atlanta United scarves and jerseys mounted on the racks and walls near by. Seat yourself is the motto as you enter. We sat in two booth and tables closest to the bar. The pub lost its adult only feel as locals with young kids arrived and sat around us. The Army Navy game was playing in a few tvs so that helped to hold the sports bar mode. We received menus and find it a little hard to see without our phone flash lights. Yes, it's dark in here there are no over head lights. ( use your phone) After looking the menu over I tried the steak and fries cooked medium- pure perfection ;along with the Cesar salad was great. I don't need to tell the locals they should show up I believe they are mostly seated and dining already. The food and service are exceptional.

There is also patio seating which is also a special space where they have been known to host weddings. Vera our waitperson was fantastic from start to finish. She was welcoming, talked about the restaurant, made excellent suggestions on all facets of the menu, helped with the wine selection and food choices and checked on us often. She is the true definition of service!! We started with cocktails and appetizers along with a bread basket. Don't skip the house old fashioned if you like bourbon. I even tried a mocktail and that was also good. Our first try with black bread. It was dense but tasty. The pimento fritters were crispy outside, creamy inside and complemented by the tomatillo jam. Calamari was perfectly done. Nice and crispy. The Caesar salad was freshly made with homemade croutons. I could go on about all the entrees but I'll leave it at this. Perfection. Not a miss among them. From the perfectly seared scallops, the duck breast or the blackened grouper we were all members of the clean plate club. We ended the night was a couple of the desserts and again winner, winner. This restaurant has been in Decatur for over 20 years and deserves all the accolades.

The valet attendant was extremely nice! He asked if we had eaten there before, told us about the specials, and made several recommendations. Our waitress was pleasant but didn't offer any suggestions -- the valet attendant was nicer and actually did more than the waitress. We started with the $7 truffle french fries (happy hour portion, 4-7pm). They were enough for both of us. Crispy on the outside and soft in the center, but there was only a light dusting of cheese on the top layer of fries. It would be better if it were sprinkled throughout the entire pile. The grilled filet mignon ($52) was not good. It looked like ground hamburger shaped into an oval and had hardly any flavor at all. The lobster ravioli ($42) was just OK and was surrounded by a thin sauce. The flourless chocolate cake ($11) was delicious, and the espresso martini was also good. So the mains weren't great, but the dessert and drinks were. There's plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. The bathroom was clean. We made reservations, but they didn't seem necessary on a Thursday evening. Highlights: Valet service, dessert, espresso martini, happy hour fries Could be better: Main dishes (filet and lobster ravioli)
