We had spicy edamame, Korean wings, combo lo mein, & pork lo mein. Sry didn't bring my phone in. Portions r HUGE. So worth the money. Even great the next day. I HIGHLY recommend. You have to check this place out in McKinney, TX. Amazing food. We had seafood gumbo, a gourmet eggroll, and blue crab lo mein. All of it was outstanding, the best gumbo I've ever had and I order that almost anytime it's on the menu. Such great food and a fun atmosphere! The food was just horrible. And I got there just late enough for them to be cleaning while still open, so the place smelled of Fabuloso cleaning fluid, with a bunch a patrons still eating!. This is a great place to bring the family to! They accommodate large groups or bigger families very easily. Amazing customer service! They are polite, cheerful and very attentive your drink refills. I figured this was going to be just another hole in the wall wing place, but was pleasantly surprised by the open concept dining room, Texas country playing through the speakers, multiple TVs on the wall and the smell of a myriad of different flavors wafting through the air. Just when we decided on what to order, one of the owners greeted us and offered up an off menu dish of crawfish fried rice that was frankly, mouthwatering. Choose between fried rice (reminiscent of ShoGun,) Lo Mein, plump wings in a variety of yummy flavors and sandwiches that definitely could feed two people. The food was fresh, hot and just downright outstanding. The fact that it is located in our neighborhood, makes this our new go-to place! Hands down the best place to stop and eat in McKinney! Friendly staff and the owner or manager was right there helping the staff out. There were tvs and music playing, the atmosphere was feel good! This place rocks! The fried rice is out of this world delicious. They serve HUGE portions but don't skimp on the quality of ingredients. Everything we had was perfect. Even the chili sauce is made in house and explodes with flavor. The owner is super personable and knows his product. I don't think I saw him sit down the whole time we were their. This restaurant used to be called China Sun. It's changed hands. One of the new owners is named Sean. He seems like a very friendly and nice person. The food was off the charts good. I got the steak lo mein and my sister got the Buffalo wings and fried rice. There were some pickled vegetable sticks on my low mein plate that were delicious. Everything was delicious. I found the food to be a little on the salty side for me. The cost was $29.23 (tax, title and license, out the door.) Sans tip and we drank water. The store appeared to be impressively clean. You could see into the cooking area and it also appeared neat and clean too. The restaurant was not busy and they got our food out to us very quickly. Our waitress was sweet. The restaurant was easy to get into because there is a light right beside it that allows easy access. On highway 380, that's a big deal! We went at straight up 5:00 p.m. and had no difficulties at all. WinCo is right across the street from it. read more
