This place has gotten a lot of love from the community, unfortunately I can't find it in me...this…read morehas to be an honest review. The wings were very subpar, sorry. They look meaty...they look delish...but the flavors were quite lacking. One...what is up with the chives and sesame seeds. They did ask me if I wanted them on there...I said sure. But I don't see how that adds anything to the flavor profile of the wing. Is it for texture? I have noticed it's more common in Mexico..so maybe they're bringing that practice over here? But offering it on every wing? Sesame seeds and chives do not go with every single wing flavor. Moving on... The wings were a good size...and well cooked. I think these are air fried...so the fry on the wing left a little more to be desired. I honestly don't remember the flavors I chose...but probably Iwiings and Buffalo... The one thing that really threw me off...and almost made me stop eating, was their ranch in the small cups. I wish I had not stirred the ranch that much to have recorded it better..so I was given 3 cups and each cup was the same. As I was dipping my wings into the small cup, I noticed the bottom of the cup was extremely watery, while the ranch at the top was very thick. It could be simply explained...dressings settle. But it made me wonder...do they water down their dressings? Or did the ranch settle? But then why did it settle toward the top...maybe they have the cups upside down, so it settled to the top because of that? But still ...it was very unsettling to see all of sudden this watery mess push up through the ranch...I tried to record it right but I had already mixed it too much. One of the few times I can say I was almost grossed out on a food item and stopped eating. Is it worth the love? Well they also sell ribs..but if your name is based on wings, I will grade you on wings. Even with their great discounts, unfortunately will not try this place again.

You know. This place never has bad food. Nor do I think I've ever had a major order error. But…read moretheir timing estimations are horrible. Ordered online, told 23-28 mins. Got to the restaurant at the 25min mark, I was told 5 more mins. I got my food after just under 50min. On another occasion (a few months ago now), Same thing: online order, arrived around 30 mins post order, told they need a few more minutes. I waited patiently, but after about 30 minutes, I realized that a bag had been sitting on their counter un touched for a while and I asked about my order. It turned out to be my order, but no one called it out, just put it there. So it was cold by the time I got home. Again, My problem is not with the food, it's with their timing estimates. I don't want to assume their timing is wrong and give them an extra 20 min before arriving then it be one of the few times it was right and now my food is cold.

I do not recommend this location it was a horrible experience will not return

I met a friend at Wing Barn inspired by the 50% off wings on Tuesdays…read more This Wing Barn is facing I-69C (Hwy. 281) and is just on the north side of the Academy store in the Shoppes at Rio Grande Valley shopping center at the Expressway and Trenton. The building is relatively new and is in great condition, well maintained. As you walk in you are met with a welcoming blast of cool air from the air conditioning (it was a very hot day!), and loud noise from the TV'S which line the walls like a sports bar. Basically, this is a sports bar that serves food, and specializes in chicken wings. There is an industrial modern vibe with the decor: corrugated metal and concrete. I would have preferred less noise interfering with my conversation with my friends. I had to cup my ear a few times, but we managed. Order your food at the counter, and they'll hand you glasses for soft drinks (or fresh brewed iced tea) and a number. They bring your order to your table. I got five "tongue twister" wings and five "razz chipotle". The tongue twister sauce is very tangy and salty - I decided to cut it with the sweet razz chipotle sauce which is quite sweet and a lot more raspberry than chipotle. I also probably could have cut the excess tang of the tongue twister with some fries. Next time I'll order something else, as I am sure I'd enjoy other sauces more - like the garlic Parmesan. I did appreciate fresh brewed iced tea, either sweetened or unsweetened. This is semi family friendly, definitely not a romantic date place, but a perfect place for guys to hang iut and watch a game.. The menu offers much more than wings. They also serve a number of burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, various tantalizing appetizers like fried mushrooms and bacon-wrapped Jalapeño poppers. I will most likely return, but order something different.

I live in Pharr so San Juan location is closer to me. I actually travel to the Edinburgh location…read more(I-69) because I've never had any issues. I order from this location every week. On 08/03/26, and I ordered their August special of 3 tenders, fries and drink (3), 10 boneless wings, and (2) bacon cheeseburger combos with fries and a drink . I got there to pick up my order and they had tiny cups the size that come in happy meals. The tenders were tiny and not worth it. The burger was burnt on the edges and tasted really bad. The bread wasn't toasted. It was very disappointing. They also do not invest in cup holders at this location and I always order 5-6 meals, which is a huge inconvenience. They have a lot of business at this location, therefore there's no excuse. I overlooked it in the past because their specials were a great value and tasted good.

Don't know why there are a lot of negative reviews on this place…read more To begin with the customer service is great got greeted and attended very will. Our waitress was very attentive as will. Came here with a couple of best friends to have drinks and to get something small to eat. To anyone that likes sports I suggest coming to this place it has TVs all around the place even in the patio outside. Moreover I ordered the traditional wings all flats since I don't like drums. With the sauce buffalo hot flavor you can also order them extra wet which is how I like them too. They were actually very tasty and delicious and also they were big wings which is a pretty big deal to me. They also give you a side which can be celery stick, ranch, or blue cheese. which I got the celery sticks since I dislike ranch and blue cheese. Furthermore our food didn't take a long arrive like other reviews say. And there was a lot of people at the restaurant. So I totally recommend to come try this place y'all won't regret it the food is amazing especially the wings .

We were so excited to try a new Korean chicken place and this was such a let down…read more The chicken is very plain and unseasoned. There is nothing Korean about it. It is chicken you can get from any other chicken place. It is freshly made, but that is the only positive I have for the chicken. We tried the strips which were dry and the wings. 2/5 We tried the soy garlic and red hot spicy sauces. The soy garlic was an okay processed sauce. The red hot smelled and tasted like it is ketchup based, so for me, gross! It was supposed to be really spicy and it was not. 1/5 The curly fries were hot, fresh, and seasoned well. 4/5 The mandu was store bought gyoza and it did not come with a dipping sauce as mandu usually does. 2/5 The lunch special was a good price but otherwise this is definitely overpriced.
