I met a friend at Wing Barn inspired by the 50% off wings on Tuesdays. This Wing Barn is facing I-69C (Hwy. 281) and is just on the north side of the Academy store in the Shoppes at Rio Grande Valley shopping center at the Expressway and Trenton. The building is relatively new and is in great condition, well maintained. As you walk in you are met with a welcoming blast of cool air from the air conditioning (it was a very hot day!), and loud noise from the TV'S which line the walls like a sports bar. Basically, this is a sports bar that serves food, and specializes in chicken wings. There is an industrial modern vibe with the decor: corrugated metal and concrete. I would have preferred less noise interfering with my conversation with my friends. I had to cup my ear a few times, but we managed. Order your food at the counter, and they'll hand you glasses for soft drinks (or fresh brewed iced tea) and a number. They bring your order to your table. I got five "tongue twister" wings and five "razz chipotle". The tongue twister sauce is very tangy and salty - I decided to cut it with the sweet razz chipotle sauce which is quite sweet and a lot more raspberry than chipotle. I also probably could have cut the excess tang of the tongue twister with some fries. Next time I'll order something else, as I am sure I'd enjoy other sauces more - like the garlic Parmesan. I did appreciate fresh brewed iced tea, either sweetened or unsweetened. This is semi family friendly, definitely not a romantic date place, but a perfect place for guys to hang iut and watch a game.. The menu offers much more than wings. They also serve a number of burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, various tantalizing appetizers like fried mushrooms and bacon-wrapped Jalapeño poppers. I will most likely return, but order something different. read more

I live in Pharr so San Juan location is closer to me. I actually travel to the Edinburgh location (I-69) because I've never had any issues. I order from this location every week. On 08/03/26, and I ordered their August special of 3 tenders, fries and drink (3), 10 boneless wings, and (2) bacon cheeseburger combos with fries and a drink . I got there to pick up my order and they had tiny cups the size that come in happy meals. The tenders were tiny and not worth it. The burger was burnt on the edges and tasted really bad. The bread wasn't toasted. It was very disappointing. They also do not invest in cup holders at this location and I always order 5-6 meals, which is a huge inconvenience. They have a lot of business at this location, therefore there's no excuse. I overlooked it in the past because their specials were a great value and tasted good. read more

When we got to the counter the guy who was there didn't seem to know what he was doing but got through the order. Don't have my hopes up due to reviews on here. However the stuffed mushrooms were delivered timely and were tasty. The fried pickles weren't as good and were just ok. When the wings were taken to our table it was on time and they were good size and a mixture of drums and flats. Flavor was regular buffalo and ranch buffalo. They were tasty and finger licking good. Also had the avocado burger w bacon. Have to say I was disappointed in it. Was merely fine. Nothing great. Had all the ingredients but just there. Not bad but not good. Tea was really good. read more

Wing Barn - Our meal all in one place. 8 piece classic wing combo & Avocado Burger Combo - Chicken Wings Near Me - Edinburg, Texas

The service was horrible!! It took over an hour to get my 10 wings. All the to go orders we're going first before the ones that were actually sitting down at the restaurant to eat. When we asked the server who gets priority, she said the ones dining in. That was not the case that day. Will never return. read more

Placed an order through the phone and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. Showed up 15 minutes later and waited an additional 10 minutes. Also got home and was disappointed to see SMALL and DRY wings with little to no meat in the bone. I usually stick to boneless but was wanting to try the traditional and it was a BIG MISTAKE. read more

Service is bad, bad customer service... go somewhere else. The employees do not know how to do there job and manger no where to be found.

Wing Barn never disappoints. The wings are always hot, crispy, and full of flavor. Their ranch is easily some of the best around, and the fries come out fresh every time. The service is fast and friendly, even on busy days. If you're craving wings, this is definitely one of the best spots to go. read more

Food was great! The tenders were delicious! A little saucy but it's packed with flavor!! The Place gives off very Barn-Like Ambiance to it and it's suits it well read more

Something ain't right!! Ending up throwing up when I got back home. Never again eating at this chain. I had the burger combo that comes with 5 boneless wings. read more

My friends were hyping this place up quite a bit so my expectations were set a little high. Then I checked the reviews on this place and they were largely negative. I came into the restaurant overwhelmed with these conflicting accounts on the quality of this place. I saw they had daily deals so that's definitely a plus, and the dessert panel looked tantalizing. I went with the Lonestar burger and had an order of fried Oreos. The burger was a bit pricey but was surprisingly excellent. The burger was cooked well, the contrast between the sweetness of the BBQ sauce and the savoriness of the jalapeños was an excellent combination of flavors. However. the fried Oreos, which is what I was most excited for, was an extreme let down. The batter was a bit over cooked and the ice cream did not help much with the dryness of the fried oreo. The fries were also soggy and bland. Overall, a pretty average experience. The menu options are really cool and I'm definitely going to give this place another try, might be better the next time. Highs: burger Lows: deep fried oreo, fries 3.5/5 read more

The service was great and the food was fresh. Ranch is made in house and I can taste the difference!

Not bad for a first timer. Excellent customer service but we kept telling the servers to bring the dessert out since it seems they forgot about it; and the food was good. read more

I do like wing barn bone in wings. The boneless wings are a whole other thing. I have kept the bone in wings for leftovers and they are fine. But be careful with the boneless wings. There's a reason why they are 50 cents each everyday. I bit into them and I thought maybe the first couple times I got a bad batch, but the texture reminds me of fish and the "chicken" is so white it looks fake. I usually tell myself that my order is always a suggestion, because no matter what flavor you get or bone in or boneless they always give me whatever the heck they want. It's always a surprise! Well I tried to reheat the boneless wings on the SAME day and I bit into a rubbery substance that was glued together and I couldn't even bite the wing because it was hard rubber. Maybe they are trying to cut costs or there's a shortage of chicken no clue but if you don't believe me order some boneless wings and see for yourself. read more

tried getting food from here and they cancelled my order and did not give me my money back fuck this place

The 10 wings were delicious but the Tots were severely undercooked, and celery and carrots were forgotten. I ordered take out. I could not have been more disappointed. Dine in might be better but there are other options. The order wasn't complicated but clearly was too difficult to fill properly. read more

Good food, good service. We had the ranch cheeseburger and the buffalo ranch wings. The burger had great flavor with extra crispy bacon which I love. We also ordered the fried pickles. The half portion was very small but okay for two people. I didn't care for them but my husband did. I thought they had old oil taste. We also ordered the loaded french fries, which were topped with cheese, bacon and jalapeños. It was very good. Highly recommend ordering them. read more

I went into the Wing Barn on a Wednesday around 6. It was pretty slow in there. I Ordered a 12 wing combo with an order of fried mushrooms as an appetizer To go. I ended up waiting 30 minutes on my order and I didn't even receive any fries with my order. Food tasted good but it just shouldn't take that long to cook wings and then to forget the fries completely kinda sucks. read more

Normally a loyal Wingstop customer, I decided to give them a chance very bad first time experience. I spent $16.00 today for a 10 piece combo and a drink and received very small undersized wings. I immediately brought this to the attention of the waitress and she admitted the wings came in undersized. After her admitting, I asked the waitress if she could rectify the situation to perhaps bring us new wings or additional wings. She said there is nothing she can do, I did not even receive an apology. The staff here, seem to not know the meaning of customer service. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Terrible service. My order was completely wrong. My burger was missing a patty, my wings did not have sauce, and my drinks were half-filled. I got charged 30$ for food that wasn't even 10$ worth. Order taker was a girl named Samantha S. Who was very inexperienced. read more

I've been here before and enjoyed each time. I had to order online and requested curbside pickup and was given a time of 45 minutes to get my order prepped and ready. I took a chance and got there early. The young lady that answered was in a hurry to get me off the phone and brought my order out. She forgot my drink snd returned with one, but it was wrong. So I get back to my worksite to eat and it was ice cold! So that means it was ready waaaay before I arrived and it sat somewhere for a while. Pretty bummed because I hadn't eaten all day and had to settle for cold wings and fries. You failed today, wing barn! read more

With all these changes because of COVID-19 you would expect that restaurants would have their A game when it comes to curbside... not wing barn! First of all, you cannot call the number and place an order as the mailbox is full! Secondly, you go online and waste time entering all your order to find out that it cannot be processed as the transaction keeps giving you an error. I've tried 3 different credit/debit cards with no luck. This is unacceptable. I hope they read this review and up their game if they expect to survive during this pandemic. read more

The food was not as good as it should be. They forgot the jalapeños with the Texas fries, the girl never brought them that took my order so I had to ask another girl if she could please get them for us. The girls were quiet, but gave us rude stares, every time that they would pass. and as we were getting ready to leave cleaning the table to not give them a hassle we kindly asked for a plate to go , and that same girl gave us a dirty look. read more

You might say our experience was less than satisfactory. We went there cause our regular place had at least a 30 minute wait we were were not in the mood to wait so long so we decided to give this a place a chance. We decided to dine in. First off all had to wait at least 15 minutes before the cashier could help us. There was nobody else to hep us out. Since she was on the phone taking an order. Which I didn't have a problem with that , my problem was that there was no one else to help us out. No manager in sight. When I asked her she said that the help she had were acting as servers also. We placed our order and went to sit down. It took them 45 minutes for them to get our order out. We say people that came i way after we got there that had their order 5 minutes after they sat down. When we finally got our order it was like warm to say the least. Frys were cold an unappealing. (We should have waited at our regular place). First and last time we will visit that place. We went Saturday 13 in the evening. read more
