I came into the restaurant overwhelmed with these conflicting accounts on the quality of this place. I saw they had daily deals so that's definitely a plus, and the dessert panel looked tantalizing. I went with the Lonestar burger and had an order of fried Oreos. The burger was a bit pricey but was surprisingly excellent. The burger was cooked well, the contrast between the sweetness of the BBQ sauce and the savoriness of the jalapeños was an excellent combination of flavors. However. the fried Oreos, which is what I was most excited for, was an extreme let down. The batter was a bit over cooked and the ice cream did not help much with the dryness of the fried oreo. The fries were also soggy and bland. Overall, a pretty average experience. The menu options are really cool and I'm definitely going to give this place another try, might be better the next time. I do like wing barn bone in wings. The boneless wings are a whole other thing. I have kept the bone in wings for leftovers and they are fine. But be careful with the boneless wings. There's a reason why they are 50 cents each everyday. I bit into them and I thought maybe the first couple times I got a bad batch, but the texture reminds me of fish and the "chicken" is so white it looks fake. I usually tell myself that my order is always a suggestion, because no matter what flavor you get or bone in or boneless they always give me whatever the heck they want. It's always a surprise! Well I tried to reheat the boneless wings on the SAME day and I bit into a rubbery substance that was glued together and I couldn't even bite the wing because it was hard rubber.
