I was in McAllen for a business meeting and saw Super Burgers reviews on Yelp. Tired of endless chain restaurants, this place seemed like it could be great. And it was! For me at least. I had street tacos with steak. They were excellent and the fixings were excellent also. Some of my table mates got burgers and said they were great except a little under seasoned. The sides and appetizers made up for anything lacking in my book. But probably as important as great tasting food, the entire staff was as nice and helpful as they could be. The restaurant is small and not at all fancy but the place exudes with pride of ownership and a desire to please their customers. This is a nice little hole in the wall. It's affordable...the menu is a schmorgasboard of things. You have tacos, hamburgers, wings to choose from...but everything you order tastes fresh and made to order. I had the pirata tacos...nice and tasty. My wife had espadas....toasted just right. And my son had the kiddie burger...with fries just like my momma made them. Service was okay... no real issue here, just a little too much hole in the wall. I must say that the service provided is TOP DRAWER, and if you want alterations and cleaning done the way it should be, COME HERE! Had the Mexican burger with a side of onion rings. The burger had great flavors from the avocado slices, ham, and grilled jalapeño. Perfect sized burger with a soft delicious bun. The onion rings were decent but the onions still tasted raw. A small business with good service. The price was around $16 in total. I can see myself going back here. read more

Honestly my favorite place for their Mexican burgers. My husband enjoys their papa never a miss with the food here and the service is fast. One issue they do have is the way they speak to their employees. Get a grip kitchen staff should not be yelling at the waitresses face. read more

Ok so finaly made it to this restaurant... after many of my coworkers saying great things i had to try it out. Ok so this first part is important to me and other that dont speak Spanish. I love little restaurants but always fear the hassle of going to them cause i dont speak spanish and sometimes they dont speak English. Make for a rough time and sometimes just easiest to just goto where i know i can order without a hassle.with that being said the waiter speaks good enough english to handle the interaction and did give me a stupid look when i said i dont speak spanish. Disclosure i am not judging them just is what it is. Ok so the food is great fajita tacos homemade corn tortillas made grill and fresh onion with cilantro. Had to test out the wings since I was there got lemon pepper chicken wings. Not gonna say the best weeks ever but i would 4sure eat them again if want some wings. Well although I will say it was hard to find a menu with a full description on their burgers but I was able to find one. Let's just say it was hard to choose from. Super burgers offer so many options. I went with the Mexican and the champi burger. Both were delicious and gave you that homemade taste both were so tasty. Burgers are loaded so if you're hungry and want a filling burger this is the best. Service was fast and friendly very attentive guys on the drive thru.
