We celebrated Trizha's birthday here. The place wasn't busy on a snowy Monday night. We were greeted with happy faces as we entered. I asked for a table for 6 and our server Mariah led us to a perfectly set table. She immediately served us waters (Yay!) as she handed us the menus and giving us the happy hour specials. Chris and I have been here a couple of times before and it has never changed! It is still very intimate and cozy! I ordered the Grilled Salmon, Chris had the Beef Fajita bowl, Trizha had the Fish Tacos, Jack had the Dive Burger, Noah had the Chicken Piccata and Houston had Mac n Cheese. Everyone raved about their food. My salmon was grilled to perfection and paired well the orzo! Chris liked his Fajita bowl and said he'll order it again! Mariah was awesome! Decided to pop in for brunch. The chicken and waffle was a 8/10. The waffle itself is sweet and doesn't need a lot of syrup but I still used a good amount. I normally don't use butter but it was like a honey/cinnamon butter and it was a good addition too! The chicken was tender and not overcooked. It's a Cajun spice but not spicy at all so if you're worried about spice, don't! The Deviled Eggs are a 8/10. Pomegranate and Pineapple Mimosas were a 7/10. My sister had the Blueberry French toast, Mango cheesecake and a Bloody Mary. She enjoyed all of it. Customer service was cool. Overall, an 8/10 experience. I'd return. read more

We chose this restaurant because it was a good halfway point to meet our family. We saw there was a brunch "special" for $41 per person. They posted some special additions such as prime rib so we decided to give it a try. The buffet itself was just a step up from a free hotel breakfast with the addition of salad, tomato/cheese skewers and cake. My assumption was the prime rib would be a traditional hand carved piece of meat, nope. I thought it was odd when the server asked if we would like prime rib and she would bring it to the table. She even had the nerve to ask us how we wanted it and we said medium. What came out was a thin piece of tough overcooked what looked to be skirt steak. It was pathetic at best, an insult at worst. For 3 adults with tip our bill was $170. 3 buffets $41 each, $6 each for 2 cups of coffee, tax and a 3% service charge with no explanation. The service was fair but I don't blame the server as she had too many tables. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't go back. Overpriced for substandard food. read more

Stopped here for lunch and found it to be a very nice,very comfortable,very clean place. We ordered from the lunch menu I wanted the Lamb Burger cooked to medium doneness w/sweet potato fries. My wife wanted the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap w/house fries. The lamb burger was cooked to absolute perfection all the toppings complimented it very well everything on my plate was over the top delicious. My wife stated her chicken wrap was the tastiest one she has ever eaten. Which is saying something because that's her go to order for lunch if it's on the menu. The service also was impeccable attentive,very nice and very efficient & professional. We've already decided we are coming here for our upcoming Anniversary and will indulge in some adult beverages plus we're excited to see what's on the dinner menu! read more

I like the open table to reserve your place so you are not waiting to be seated. Great customer service. I do not remember our waiter name but she took her time to explain the menu. We started with hummus and chicken and it was okay. I have had better hummus. It was not tasty, I felt it was plain. I liked the cucumber and carrot combination. Salmon and rice is delicious. Has a cute ambiance to it and also there was outside seating. It wasn't crowded but I suppose for ease sake they put all of the guestt in one section. My waitress was amazing. On top of everything. I ordered the deviled eggs and they were good. Not great but good. I also had the crab burger that was recommended to me by my waitress. It was good also. A little on the dry side but good. I'm not upset about it but I probably would not order it again. There are too many other things for me to try. This would be a really nice date place. I thought it was just great! I am from the Manhattan Wine Dive and I tried menu items that we don't have back in MHK. Coconut Shrimp and Salmon Dip were very good! My family and I tried this place for the first time and it was pretty good. The duck wontons were phenomenal, great texture and flavors. 10/10 recommend the dipping sauce. I ordered the crab, shrimp and lobster Mac and it was one of the best I've had. It was also $10 off for happy hour which played a small part, putting it at $17. My brother also really liked his ribeye. It was cooked and seasoned well. That being said, the pork chop was a bit on the tough/dry side which was pretty disappointing. Another down side was the service was a rather slow and not all that friendly. No one told us about happy hour, we read about it online. All we had is the Wine so I can only rate the wine, the ambiance, & then customer service. All obviously 5 stars so kind of self explanatory there lol! They have a few TV's behind the bar, it is an absolute dive bar in every way! The bartender was quite knowledgeable about the wines, the list was extensive, and the ambiance was nice and intimate. Tim ordered the crabcakes with risotto which strangely enough came with lobster pieces, lol. I'm wondering if he got my lobster in his dish ?!? Neither of us had any wine although it was happy hour. My wife & I went to Wichita for a long weekend getaway & on our 1st night, we went to Wine Dive. The restaurant and bar was very new/hip/classy. We ordered 5 appetizers for our meal: Duck Wontons (fantastic & not what you would think when you picture wontons), Stuffed Avocado (shockingly delicious), Ahi Tuna Nachos (pretty good), Deviled Eggs (I've eaten a lot of them in my day, but these were very unique & delightful), & Coconut Shrimp (they were good, but my wife enjoyed them more than I did). The cocktails were very tasty. The staff was on top of their game, and I have to give a shoutout to our waitress Donna. She was so cool and fun and made our evening even more enjoyable. Their grilled avocado was also really good! It was basically an avocado stuffed with smoked trout and cream cheese. *Check in on yelp to get a free starter (up to $10)! My friend got the Mahi Mahi entree and she really liked that too. Their cheesecake was okay. I'd probably skip it next time. However, I highly recommend getting some wine (it is Wine Dive after all). I ate here twice while in town. The first night, we had amazing service. The waitress was super attentive, knew the menu and was very personable. The food was excellent, especially the sea bass and fried oysters appetizer. The 2nd visit was over lunch. The manager on duty was not very friendly. Our waitress was nice. The lobster mac and cheese was good, as were the salads. The salads are very large in size. One could've fed three of us. It was my sister's birthday. They did bring out free ice cream, this is a step down from what they used to do. I did order two desserts to go with it once I found out it was just a scoop of ice cream. read more

I don't live in Wichita, but Wine Dive is always a place I love to have a meal when I'm in town! Reasons for visiting include: wine (duh), nice cocktails, wonderful happy hour, menu marked with allergen indicators, friendly staff, good location, consistently delicious food, and more. On my last visit, our waitress was SO wonderful, I'm kicking myself for bit remembering her name! We enjoyed lots of delicious food, but the standouts were the Duck Confit Nachos. Sure, new restaurants have popped up that we've tried that are newer, trendier, maybe better-- but we've been coming here for 7 years and as long as Wine Dive is around it'll hold a nostalgia that no other place has for us. That being said, the atmosphere is casual and the service is always friendly. At our most recent visit, we started with the queso fundido and the fried oysters. The queso I thought was on the oily side and not my favourite, but it came with a lot of veggies and bread to dip. I'd probably skip this in the future. The fried oysters were yummy. I particularly like the balsamic glaze drizzled on them. I ordered the duck confit for dinner - yum! The duck fell right off the bone and melted in your mouth. The skin was crisp and flavorful.
