One of my favorite places in Wichita, really good happy hour on Tuesday. Sat outside. It was great for people watching Patricia was our my server and even though I was the only person outside she was very attentive 10 out of 10 absolutely recommend and the tiramisu is a must for dessert so rich I could not even finish it. read more

The 2 stars is purely for the staff and manager - they were all very kind and accommodating even though I was less than pleased with the food. The manager did provide me with a 1/2 off appetizer coupon, however, I don't think I'll be back. First, the building is in a cute, interesting area. The inside is kinda blah but it didn't bother me. Now... the menu... it's like a condense Cheesecake Factory menu. From arancini to enchiladas to butter chicken... I think the lack of focus affected the quality of the food. The arancini were so salty they were inedible which was such a bummer because they are pure, classic arancini - it could've been great. I tasted the butter chicken and the spices were not cooked out, at all, however my guest was happy with it. She doesn't eat Indian food, ever, fyi I got the sea bass. The tomato sauce around the dish was SO salty and tasted like campbells soup. The fish and risotto were okay but tainted by the Red Sea surrounding them. Unfortunately there just wasn't any reason to go back. I'll keep checking back at their menu but from the reviews it seems it's mostly stayed the same for like over a decade. read more

My wife and I wanted to try something new, so we decided to give this place a shot. They have a huge selection of wines and cocktails that you can browse through their QR scan system, which was easy to use. Our waitress was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our wine questions. The bottle we chose paired perfectly with my medium-rare ribeye, which was cooked exactly as ordered. My wife had the lobster crab mac and cheese, and she said it was delicious. Her only takeaway was that it was so rich and filling that it might work better as a shareable side than a main entrée. Overall, we had a great date night. If it hadn't been so hot that evening, we definitely would have enjoyed sitting out on the patio. read more

Decided to pop in for brunch. The chicken and waffle was a 8/10. The waffle itself is sweet and doesn't need a lot of syrup but I still used a good amount. I normally don't use butter but it was like a honey/cinnamon butter and it was a good addition too! The chicken was tender and not overcooked. It's a Cajun spice but not spicy at all so if you're worried about spice, don't! The Deviled Eggs are a 8/10. Pomegranate and Pineapple Mimosas were a 7/10. My sister had the Blueberry French toast, Mango cheesecake and a Bloody Mary. She enjoyed all of it. Customer service was cool. Overall, an 8/10 experience. I'd return. read more

We celebrated Trizha's birthday here. The place wasn't busy on a snowy Monday night. We were greeted with happy faces as we entered. I asked for a table for 6 and our server Mariah led us to a perfectly set table. She immediately served us waters (Yay!) as she handed us the menus and giving us the happy hour specials. Chris and I have been here a couple of times before and it has never changed! It is still very intimate and cozy! I ordered the Grilled Salmon, Chris had the Beef Fajita bowl, Trizha had the Fish Tacos, Jack had the Dive Burger, Noah had the Chicken Piccata and Houston had Mac n Cheese. Everyone raved about their food. My salmon was grilled to perfection and paired well the orzo! Chris liked his Fajita bowl and said he'll order it again! Mariah was awesome! She was very attentive and thoughtful. She brought Trizha a bowl of ice cream with a fountain and made her birthday celebration a little more special. How fun! read more

We chose this restaurant because it was a good halfway point to meet our family. We saw there was a brunch "special" for $41 per person. They posted some special additions such as prime rib so we decided to give it a try. The buffet itself was just a step up from a free hotel breakfast with the addition of salad, tomato/cheese skewers and cake. My assumption was the prime rib would be a traditional hand carved piece of meat, nope. I thought it was odd when the server asked if we would like prime rib and she would bring it to the table. She even had the nerve to ask us how we wanted it and we said medium. What came out was a thin piece of tough overcooked what looked to be skirt steak. It was pathetic at best, an insult at worst. For 3 adults with tip our bill was $170. 3 buffets $41 each, $6 each for 2 cups of coffee, tax and a 3% service charge with no explanation. The service was fair but I don't blame the server as she had too many tables. I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't go back. Overpriced for substandard food. read more

What a special evening! The ceviche & sangria were the perfect way to start. One of the best sangrias I've had in a long time. The waitress was attentive, even though we chose to sit outside. I have to eat gluten-free, & they have a nice selection. The sea bass over pesto risotto was delicious! We will definitely be making this a regular date night destination. read more

Stopped here for lunch and found it to be a very nice, very comfortable, very clean place. We ordered from the lunch menu I wanted the Lamb Burger cooked to medium doneness w/sweet potato fries. My wife wanted the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap w/house fries. The lamb burger was cooked to absolute perfection all the toppings complimented it very well everything on my plate was over the top delicious. My wife stated her chicken wrap was the tastiest one she has ever eaten. Which is saying something because that's her go to order for lunch if it's on the menu. The service also was impeccable attentive, very nice and very efficient & professional. We've already decided we are coming here for our upcoming Anniversary and will indulge in some adult beverages plus we're excited to see what's on the dinner menu! read more

We have ate here 4 times now. Our favorite appetizer is the Ceviche, but you must get Cholula sauce and put a few drops on each bite. For mains, the Veggie Enchiladas are great, and the Cajun chicken is solid. I've posted pics of lots of mains... there are still more to try! read more

Food was good the good but the spicy vodka rigatoni was not great good flavor but spicy takes over so that's all you can take and I handle spicy pretty well read more

I like the open table to reserve your place so you are not waiting to be seated. Great customer service. I do not remember our waiter name but she took her time to explain the menu. We started with hummus and chicken and it was okay. I have had better hummus. It was not tasty, I felt it was plain. I liked the cucumber and carrot combination. Salmon and rice is delicious. Beef steak in mushroom sauce was good. Great dinner date atmosphere. read more

Has a cute ambiance to it and also there was outside seating. It wasn't crowded but I suppose for ease sake they put all of the guestt in one section. My waitress was amazing. On top of everything. I ordered the deviled eggs and they were good. Not great but good. I also had the crab burger that was recommended to me by my waitress. It was good also. A little on the dry side but good. I'm not upset about it but I probably would not order it again. There are too many other things for me to try. This would be a really nice date place. All in all I truly enjoyed myself and I would go back. read more

I thought it was just great! I am from the Manhattan Wine Dive and I tried menu items that we don't have back in MHK. Coconut Shrimp and Salmon Dip were very good! My family and I tried this place for the first time and it was pretty good. The duck wontons were phenomenal, great texture and flavors. 10/10 recommend the dipping sauce. I ordered the crab, shrimp and lobster Mac and it was one of the best I've had. It was also $10 off for happy hour which played a small part, putting it at $17. My brother also really liked his ribeye. It was cooked and seasoned well. That being said, the pork chop was a bit on the tough/dry side which was pretty disappointing. Another down side was the service was a rather slow and not all that friendly. No one told us about happy hour, we read about it online. That being said I would return, in hopes the pork chop and the staff just had an off night. read more

The food was good. As well as the drinks. Ask the server for his recommendation, he like the chicken fajitas, which are my favorite. He asked if I would like rice, and I assume it came with it. When we got the bill, it was an extra $2.00. Wasn't it much about the money, but they didn't say it would cost extra. Love the deviled eggs. Probably be back in the future read more

All we had is the Wine so I can only rate the wine, the ambiance, & then customer service. All obviously 5 stars so kind of self explanatory there lol! They have a few TV's behind the bar, it is an absolute dive bar in every way! The bartender was quite knowledgeable about the wines, the list was extensive, and the ambiance was nice and intimate. I'm not in Wichita very often but I'll definitely be going back when we go back! See you soon, bye! read more

Thursday date night. We had high hopes for the Wine Dive but were left disappointed. I splurged on the Mac shrimp & lobster. At $28 I expected quite a bit of lobster and a bigger portion of mac & cheese. I didn't get ANY lobster. It was all shrimp. Tim ordered the crabcakes with risotto which strangely enough came with lobster pieces, lol. I'm wondering if he got my lobster in his dish ?!? Neither of us had any wine although it was happy hour. The service was good, our server was Erin. They were fairly busy and seemed to be a nice gathering place for younger people. We left underwhelmed and went to Spangles for mud slide desserts. read more

My wife & I went to Wichita for a long weekend getaway & on our 1st night, we went to Wine Dive. The restaurant and bar was very new/hip/classy. We ordered 5 appetizers for our meal: Duck Wontons (fantastic & not what you would think when you picture wontons), Stuffed Avocado (shockingly delicious), Ahi Tuna Nachos (pretty good), Deviled Eggs (I've eaten a lot of them in my day, but these were very unique & delightful), & Coconut Shrimp (they were good, but my wife enjoyed them more than I did). The cocktails were very tasty. The staff was on top of their game, and I have to give a shoutout to our waitress Donna. She was so cool and fun and made our evening even more enjoyable. Thanks Donna! read more

All the seafood here was so yummy! I especially loved the lobster, shrimp, crab mac & cheese! The sauce was so creamy and delicious. My friend really liked it as well. Their grilled avocado was also really good! It was basically an avocado stuffed with smoked trout and cream cheese. *Check in on yelp to get a free starter (up to $10)! My friend got the Mahi Mahi entree and she really liked that too. Their cheesecake was okay. I'd probably skip it next time. However, I highly recommend getting some wine (it is Wine Dive after all). They have an extensive list of wines to choose from. We got the sparkling moscato and it was delicious! I'll definitely come back to try other things! read more

I ate here twice while in town. The first night, we had amazing service. The waitress was super attentive, knew the menu and was very personable. The food was excellent, especially the sea bass and fried oysters appetizer. The 2nd visit was over lunch. The manager on duty was not very friendly. Our waitress was nice. The lobster mac and cheese was good, as were the salads. The salads are very large in size. One could've fed three of us. It was my sister's birthday. They did bring out free ice cream, this is a step down from what they used to do. I did order two desserts to go with it once I found out it was just a scoop of ice cream. read more

I don't live in Wichita, but Wine Dive is always a place I love to have a meal when I'm in town! Reasons for visiting include: wine (duh), nice cocktails, wonderful happy hour, menu marked with allergen indicators, friendly staff, good location, consistently delicious food, and more. On my last visit, our waitress was SO wonderful, I'm kicking myself for bit remembering her name! We enjoyed lots of delicious food, but the standouts were the Duck Confit Nachos. Don't like to post negative reviews, but the food here was worse than an Italian chain with no flavor and the bruschetta was soggy. The server was rude after we asked to move to a different area because we were placed next to a huge loud table. This anniversary dinner was reserved for over a month and was not the experience we were hoping for. The server was rude and did not come back to the table after initial ordering and took a long time to get the check. It wasn't busy either. read more

This is mine and my husband's favorite spot when we're back in Wichita for a weekend. Sure, new restaurants have popped up that we've tried that are newer, trendier, maybe better-- but we've been coming here for 7 years and as long as Wine Dive is around it'll hold a nostalgia that no other place has for us. That being said, the atmosphere is casual and the service is always friendly. At our most recent visit, we started with the queso fundido and the fried oysters. The queso I thought was on the oily side and not my favourite, but it came with a lot of veggies and bread to dip. I'd probably skip this in the future. The fried oysters were yummy. I particularly like the balsamic glaze drizzled on them. I ordered the duck confit for dinner - yum! The duck fell right off the bone and melted in your mouth. The skin was crisp and flavorful. I highly recommend it! read more

Nice after work place to relax after a long work day. Drinks are good and great food. Nice waitress.

I'd like to first address the service. Our waitress was the best server I've had to take care of us in a long time. I'd come back just for that... but the food was great too. The pork chops came out picture perfect... I should've taken a photo, but I really don't like being on my phone at a nice restaurant. I had the carrot cake for dessert, which is my favorite dessert, so of course I loved it. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try, so I will definitely have to come back here! read more
