    Tater tots

The food was definitely fresh and delicious. I wouldn't say I was blown away but it was still fantastic. I would say skip on the tater tots, the roe just gets lost in the tater tot grease. They were nice to experience but nothing to rave about. After seeing the feta dip, I'd try that next time! Their drinks were also phenomenal. Service was okay, they did mess up and somehow our order was never submitted. They comped 3/4 of our drinks and gave us delicious cookies on the house. We couldn't be upset after they did their best to make up for it AND it was date night so it gave us more time together. I recommend experiencing this place at least once!

Ordered the Feta Dip, Lamb Orecchiette, a citrus dessert and, several mock-tails. Staff is attentive and friendly, the food is a bit of a wait but it is worth it. The environment is usually quite busy yet not crowded. You can see the staff prepare all the food from your seat most of the time. Amazing experience and a good place to go for special occasions.

The charcuterie plate was unexpected but in a good way since I didn't expect non-typical cheeses and meats like brie cheese. This restaurant elevates dishes to a whole new level since it has the level of culinary expertise that is usually only seen in bigger cities like Chicago or even KC, and it uses local Kansas ingredients which is a standout. The restaurant is also nicely decorated in the inside and in some spots I can actually watch the chefs cook food which was pretty neat. The campo lindo smoked chicken was pretty good. Unlike most restaurants, they actually make desserts in-house, so i ended up getting the carrot cake which was an elevate take on the usual carrot cake with sorbet and a different shape. Overall, I might come back for special occasions despite the steep price point.

Bright and refreshing vodka based summer cocktail with hints of cucumber, mint, and melon.

My first visit to Lottē felt more like a welcome home. The entire crew was extremely friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about their craft; a chic interior design was upscale cool and inviting using natural tones and warm lighting with a bangin' playlist bumping through the speakers. My server, Merci, was a delight - she set me up at the Chef's Table and explained that their seasonal menu had just changed the day prior, so all of their offerings were fresh and seasonal, and locally sourced! On a quick work trip, I was initially looking for a solid meal after a long week, but was surprised by the refreshing punch packed in every aspect of my dining experience. I was up close to the action in their open concept kitchen, getting to see and smell all of the dishes going out to different tables, but the most memorable part of the Chef's Table seat was witnessing the detail that goes into each plating. As I enjoyed my refreshing cocktail and amuse bouche, provided by the head Chef after a quick hello donning his fly Lottē SnapBack (that they offer for purchase!), I got to watch the magic happen and form on each plate that left the pass. Each dish was well balanced and had a wide palette of flavors that complimented one another while unlocking a new pairing that revitalized my appreciation for simple ingredients! Fresh heirloom tomatoes with stone fruit and chili seasoned peanuts? Spectacular. Their dishes aren't pretentious, they give respect and showcase the beauty of using seasonal ingredients for maximum enjoyment while elevating the presentation. Thank you for having me, Lottē team, I can't wait to come back!

Traveling for work and wanted a nice place to sit at the bar & order a good meal. This place hit on all cylinders. I sat at the bar with a full view of the chefs working, the staff is very attentive and the food is magnificent. I ordered the Paloma Noir as a drink, it may be seasonal but it was delicious and just perfect. But the star of the show is the Lamb Orecchiette, truly one of the best meals I've had in awhile. When I tell you I could have licked the bowl I'm not joking. It was that good.

Lamb orecchiette best dish I've had in a long time!!!! Divine. Forgot to take a pic. Service Ambiance We sat at the chefs table and loved it.

This is the best restaurant in Wichita. I was able to sit right in front of the kitchen and watched the Chef's work their magic. Small team but super tight knit. Food was excellent and very creative. Will definitely be back in a few months and this spot is a must visit when in Wichita. Reasonably priced and portions are fairly large.

Food: 5/5 The food was great. Like everything we ordered was well appointed and flavorful. I would go back again because the food was very tasty but it is a bit pricy. Service: 4/5 The service was good but the server was eccentric and that made it slightly less enjoyable. I didn't think it was possible for the server to stay too long at the table or stop by too much but this server was not just overly friendly but it verges on just plain weird and made it hard to enjoy the meal with our group and have conversations because they interrupted us so many times and tarried too long. Ambiance: 4/5 The location is weird and was hard to find as the building is a converted office I think? The interior was dim, making the menu difficult to read and while it did create a more intimate atmosphere it also made ordering annoying. The design of the space felt like an ungainly mash up of two or three different genres. It felt like it was trying to be cottage core, brutalist and art Nouveau all at once. Despite this, the music was calming, the chairs were comfy, and the place was clean. (The design was definitely a choice, and maybe some others would really like it.)

Business dinner in Wichita. I typically don't stay downtown as it's not the best after dark. Lotte has a good vibe and service. The food is good as well, but some dishes outshine others. At times the dinner service seemed rushed as dishes seemed to come out of the kitchen a few minutes after ordering.

Dockum has both great cocktails, and great entertainment. I really like the atmosphere here every single time. It's dim, it's romantic, it's lively. Our waitress every time has been the same girl and she's fabulous and attentive. Her name is Elvia, shoutout to her! We have our favorite drinks here, but always try something new each time. Never had a bad drink here. Our favorites are: The Last Word, Dizzy Dame, Cinder and Smoke. You can't go wrong with anything you order honestly. We could sit here for a few hours. It's also a speakeasy. It's under ground, you have to knock to get in. Overall it's just a cool vibe for something downtown in Wichita. It is my favorite spot to go. If you are in town visiting or a local, I recommend this place 1000%.

When our waitress came by, we told her it was our first visit and that we needed a little time with the menu. We ordered drinks, but they came out at odd times--two arrived quickly, while the other two took noticeably longer. My husband ordered a Bijou, which is a unique cocktail, and it seemed to take a while for the bar to figure out how to make it. Still, the drinks were good once they arrived. For food, we tried the burnt ends and the JoJos. The JoJos were excellent--crispy and flavorful--but the burnt ends were disappointing, served a bit cold and lacking in flavor. Things really unraveled with our second round of drinks. Service slowed to a crawl, and we eventually learned that our waitress had been sent home by the manager even though the bar was packed on a Friday night. A young server, only two weeks into the job, was left to take over, and unfortunately, he had no idea what he was doing. Another waitress stopped by to help but admitted she usually works upstairs in the restaurant and didn't know the cocktail menu either. The shift in service quality from the first round of drinks to the second was very jarring. There was live music, but the sound system wasn't great, so it didn't add much to the atmosphere. We did order desserts from the upstairs restaurant, which were a nice finish, but by the end of the night it was clear the staff was overwhelmed. As we left, we even saw the manager outside looking exhausted, which made us feel bad for the whole team. Overall, while the drinks were solid and the JoJos worth trying, the experience was inconsistent and stressful. Maybe we just got caught up in an off night of drama, but I wouldn't recommend Dockum for more than one drink.

We try to check out a new place during each trip and wound up back at river city brewery. However! There was great live music coming from across the parking lot. My partner is a cigar smoker but it was my first time. We opted for the Havana Honey, which was a smaller cigar. Our server got us all set up and that choice was pretty good! I now see the hype. They have a large drink menu but I stuck with a Michelob Ultra. We came back the next day and Sundays was $1 off drafts so we did the same thing again. The live music was great. Mort's has live music EVERY DAY! I love bars with live music and the fact that they have it every day is a reason we went back the next day. Less positive: Door cover charge (this could have been because of the live band? Not sure if there's always a cover) $10 each, not terrible. They have drinks online that look great, but none of the bartenders knew how to make them and they seemed confused when we showed them the online menu we were ordering from. There are no menus anywhere but online. We did find food menus but no drink menus so that's why we pulled the online one. For a cocktail lounge, I assume they have mixed drinks they create beyond your traditional cocktails. So it was a bummer no one knew the menu. So we just ordered traditional cocktails. Our bartender was great all night and our drinks tasted good and the bill was low. The live band was great and there was a dance floor for some two step. Everyone seemed to be having fun and we really enjoyed our time here. We are going to come back when there isn't a live band to see how it is and if there is no cover, so I'll update my review then.
