Crab cake
Nedra M.

I guess we're coming a regular. This time though I brought several friends with me. We celebrated a Galentine's Day. We had the most amazing time. And everything we ordered was top-notch. I'm happy to be able to say they get a FIVE from me. A couple of my friends had never been here before and they loved it. Of course I ordered the crab cake. This time it was Perfecto. All in all at good time was had by us ladies and I'll be back soon.

In town visiting family and decided to have a date night with my GF. As we walked in we noticed there was live music and a nice romantic ambiance, there wasn't too many people in the restaurant but as we sat for a little the place started to fill up. We ordered a variety of food and it was all delicious. We ordered the crab cake, Becky salad, filet mignon and a ribeye with burgundy mushrooms and lobster risotto. I would say the least of my favorite was the risotto.. just seemed like the lobster was a bit chewy and the risotto was a bit over. But overall it was a delicious experience. Our waitress was very nice and made our experience there that much better.

Meatball app and Gorgonzola pasta and filet. The pic doesn't do the pasta justice. There's a lot of sauce under the noodles.

I'm sad I didn't take any pictures! We were a party of 6. Ordered lots of food and everything we got was delicious! The popovers were perfect. The butter cake was amazing! I got the Gorgonzola pasta which had a creamy sauce with depth and the filets in it were the cherry on top. The bacon was sweet and spicy and I couldnt stop eating it. The caprese salad was the best I've ever had. Not kidding. I can't wait to eat my leftovers!

Tomahawk Wagyu Steak

I have eaten here a few times now, all in which a steak has always been ordered. As chronic steak eater, I am not impressed. During this visit we ordered the Tomahawk Wagyu steak that ran us $145, and there was no distinct difference from other bone-in styled steaks that we have ordered here. Least to say, the Wagyu Tomahawk is extremely underwhelming and not worth the money by any means. For the sides, I am also not impressed and think there is lots of room for improvement. I can say, the bead offered is absolutely fabulous every single visit and I'd be satisfied eating only that. The drinks have always been amazing, no complaints there. The restaurant as a whole is gorgeous with the most elegant touches and the service has always exceeded expectations. It is a shame that the food does not correspond with the rest of these aspects. Unfortunately, we will not be returning but if improvements are made to the steaks we would gladly give it another try!

Great way to start my new year off, decided to come here for happy hour while in town. While I was there my coworkers decided to eat here for dinner. The service of course was great, nice vibes. I went with my usual which is the fettuccine pasta with shrimp and filet mignon with Brussel sprouts. My co worker went with the ribeye and mash potatoes . 10/10 highly recommend, their HH menu is great as well

Uncooked small size King Salmon. With a water-down sangria rosé

It was a beautiful Resturant, but When My first plate came out. Salmon was not cooked at all., my sangria was completely watered down no flavor, salmon was to salty. If you want good quality food go to sienna steakhouse

Wagyu steak with loaded baked potato

I loved the roasted garlic clove and the crumpet! The baked potato could've had more toppings for $4 extra. I ordered the $90 Wagyu steak, I think it was good but I was expecting more fat and flavor, honestly I wasn't impressed for the price. But it was a fun experience for a first date. The bill was $300, but my date had 4 drinks, it's def worth trying if you want to feel extra fancy. The hostesses thought we didn't have reservations first, which was awkward, but all in all they were pretty friendly, and our server was nice too.

Complimentary butter cake for our anniversary.

This is some of the most amazing food I've had in Wichita. The service was wonderful even though they were understaffed!

Smoked old fashioned. Awesome start

Was in town for work and looking for a nice dinner. Had never been here before, looked like a nice high end steak house so we gave it a try. We were seated quickly. Inside is nice, really elegant, like a steak house should be. Dark inside with wine bottles all around. Our waiter was Tanner. He was awesome. Friendly, quick and very helpful with suggestions I ordered a smoked old fashioned while I reviewed the menu I started with the Hamachi Crudo. Not a usual steak house option but looked good on the menu pic. About the menu- you get an iPad, and it has the menu and allows you to click on the dishes for a closer look and description. Pretty cool. The dish was delicious. Perfect balance of flavors between the fish and spices. Great start! For my entree I chose the 12 oz KC Strip. It was a wonderful piece of meat. Very tender and cooked perfectly. I used to order medium rare, but seemed I got way undercooked meat all the time, so started ordering medium and it was slightly better, sometimes medium rare, sometimes medium and occasionally medium well. This place nailed it. Ordered med rare and got med rare. Great job by the kitchen. Seems weird to have to say that but unfortunately most places don't get it right For my sides, I had the Mashed potato and the Elote street corn. Both were great. Corn was amazing I added 2 Scallops to my steak and they were seared perfectly and very sweet. I was unsure about the wines, so I ordered one and Tanner said it was good but he had a similar one he thought was better. Brought me samples of both, and by golly he was right! So I ordered his recommendation and blissfully enjoyed my meal. Everything here was exceptional. Wish it was closer to where I live Red wine

Our first time to eat here. We loved it and will definitely be back! Food was fresh, prepared well and the way we asked and was served promptly. We had their Sunday brunch. Service was friendly and engaging. The restaurant was clean and welcoming with adequate staffing.

Calamari

We stopped in to 6S steakhouse for my mother's birthday. We had a party of 6, with a reservation, and were seated immediately. There were a fair number of patrons, primarily couples. The hostess and waiter were pleasant. We ordered calamari, shrimp and lebeh as appetizers- all were competently prepared and presented. For entrees we ordered the tomahawk pork chop, filet mignon, ribeye with various sides of fingerling potatoes, sweet potato fries, and baked potatoes. Everything was nice. Not spectacular. Competent. Nice. Won't embarrass you if you take anyone to visit, May not be a once in a life time experience.

Our private booth and Crème Brûlée!!

This is the second year we've celebrated our anniversary here. The appetizers alone are worth the trip, I have the Crab cake, they're perfect heavily loaded with sweet crab!! Husband had shrimp cocktail which was perfectly cooked and presented. Our steaks are always prepared as requested and so well seasoned! Our Server Dolo was kind and engaged with our celebration, she checked us often and was professional but personable! We got our own private curtained booth, so cozy. The lighting was good and there was live music. We had the best time!

The manager did provide me with a 1/2 off appetizer coupon, however, I don't think I'll be back. First, the building is in a cute, interesting area. The inside is kinda blah but it didn't bother me. Now... the menu... it's like a condense Cheesecake Factory menu. From arancini to enchiladas to butter chicken... I think the lack of focus affected the quality of the food. The arancini were so salty they were inedible which was such a bummer because they are pure, classic arancini - it could've been great. I tasted the butter chicken and the spices were not cooked out, at all, however my guest was happy with it. She doesn't eat Indian food, ever, fyi I got the sea bass. The tomato sauce around the dish was SO salty and tasted like campbells soup. The fish and risotto were okay but tainted by the Red Sea surrounding them. Unfortunately there just wasn't any reason to go back. I'll keep checking back at their menu but from the reviews it seems it's mostly stayed the same for like over a decade.

Review - 8/4/26 Late…read moreand overdue review. Let me start by saying all of my previous experiences have been great. From the food to the customer service. Unfortunately, this visit could have been better. Went in for Happy Hour. Sat at the High-Top Tables in the bar area. I waited from about 5:19p-5:26p before someone came to the table, even to simply say "someone will be right with you." At this time, it wasn't yet busy. Secondly, the food was simply okay. They were out of both the Chicken Chile Nachos and Prime Rib Sliders. I ordered the Beef Sliders (5/10) and Roasted Garlic Parmesan Fries. My friend ordered The Roasted Garlic Parmesan Fries. Crispy Cauliflower and Steak Tacos. I took literally one bite from the taco and noticed that it was cooked to medium or medium well. There was a lot of visible pink in the meat. We understand if that is the way that it is cooked but a heads up would be nice just in case someone prefers their meat to be well done. My friend asked for her tacos to be cooked well done. An employee in a red shirt (not our waitress I assume she was from the kitchen), brought out a plate with two tacos. The order of tacos comes in three. I mentioned to her that I only took a bite out of the taco from her original set of tacos she received and showed her, to ask if she could get her third taco. Also, it is worth mentioning they literally took the original order of tacos back and cooked the meat longer as opposed to just making a new order of tacos all together. You could also see the visible blood on the plate from where the meat was placed on it. I didn't understand any of this. Our waitress could have had better customer service as she would be slow to come back to the table and simply wasn't that attentive. The best thing I had were the fries and the drinks (Double Black Diamond Martini and Lemon Drop Martini). Overall, this wasn't the best experience with Firebirds. I'd give it a 6/10.
