I found this place through Groupon & what drove me to come here is bc I was excited to see that they had one of my fav pinot noir brand that isn't sold elsewhere except when I had visited the actual winery up in central coast area. This place also had many selections of old world wines which I absolutely love & not just new world wines. My husband & I was here yesterday in the late afternoon & luckily it wasn't crowded so we got seated right away. The ambiance is very small which seats only about 12 people but it felt cozy & chill vibe. The decor of the place was super cute. We had the 5 tastings & it was excellent! Sparkling wine posted on this review was so good. We got to meet the owners Angelica & Doug. They were so friendly & attentive. They took their time to answer any questions we had about their wines & they were detailed about it too which I appreciated. We took home 2 bottles of red & gifted 1 bottle for a friend & 1 for a family member. Doug recommended a bottle of white wine for us to take to hubby's cousin who's not a big wine drinker. He was confident that the cousin will like it. To our surprise, the cousin did end up liking it! Kuddos to you Doug & TY for the recommendation! We def look forward to coming back to try their other selection of wines. The price of their wines are fairly priced considering they are located by the beach.

Angelica was the sweetest! My sisters and I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon together celebrating a birthday over some wine and cheese and fun crafts! Lovely idea in the middle of Laguna!

Came here on a Groupon on a Sunday night. Aaron was our host and he was so sweet. He helped us find some crafts for Valentine's Day to complete and got us all set up. We started with a few white wines and decided to ask Aaron his favorites and let him pick our last 3 tastings. He chose a Merlot, Cab, and ended us on a sweet Muscat. All of this choices were great. He was a great host and fun to chat with, since we had the place to ourselves. We both completed our crafts and finished our wine and left having enjoyed our time and excited to come back again soon! Thanks Aaron for a fun Sunday girls night! ;)

Friendly, cozy, peaceful wine bar. They serve a wide variety of wines by the glass, bottle, or flight. We were staying across the street, so stopped in before dinner and happened to be happy hour, so had a glass of their happy hour red, which was a very nice South African blend -60% Pinotage (cross of Pino and Cinsault) and 40% Shiraz. They have some fun decor and games, and offer cheese boards, too. Worth a visit!

Saw a advertisement in the hotel I was staying at near by for a 2 for 1 and decided to give it a go. Nice and cozy! The host was very nice and educational about all the wine list. She was very prompt with pours on the tasting and I had a great time socializing with her. Sat outside in the nice breeze but loved the option of either or seating arrangements. Great find!

Angelica and Doug are some amazing wine tasting hosts with great insights and recommendations. the quaint little spot on the main road is not too busy to have a great convo or meet amazing people - which we did We left with some great new connections and three bottles of wine - so that tells you something lol! WE WILL BE BACK

Went to this little wine boutique in Laguna yesterday with my best friend for a wine and craft date. The location is right in the downtown area, so parking isn't the easiest to find if you ever visit here. The wine boutique has two table areas plus a loveseat with a small table placed in front of it. The crafts you can do range from painting wine glasses to picture frames to a wooden gnome. There is a slight pay difference depending on the craft you choose. The wine tasting deal we got is a flight of 5 tastings, 3 from their essential list and 2 from their premium list. It's a very small space so definitely an activity that would best suit a group of 4 or less, but there was a group of 6 at the larger table yesterday. Space became a little tight, but not overly uncomfortable. The married couple that assisted us were friendly and courteous. Overall, this is a cute date spot to go with a friend or significant other.

We had a lovely time visiting this wine bar. One of the cool things about this place is that it has two owners who are clearly very passionate about what they offer; wine and crafts. You can really feel this when you speak to them and it makes for a great customer experience! When we were in some other people were working on art and crafts, which is a great date idea or for a group of friends. While they created, we sampled a few wines and enjoyed chatting with the owners, who were very welcoming and friendly. We had some really interesting wines and learned a few tricks about wine tasting. I would definitely go back when in the area!

It's hidden in between the East and West food courts, making its entrance nondescript, that many of my classmates are surprised to hear that there's a pub on campus. Back then, it was always bustling with students during the day and packed during sports games in the evening. The stoner tots were always a must-order. They have a lot of good craft beers on tap. I've shared countless of pitchers of IPA or cider throughout my visits. It's definitely changed drastically since the pandemic. The atmosphere is lacking. Not packed at all. Hours are a little weird. In the past 2 years, each time I've visited, it's been emptier and emptier. There will only be 2 groups there besides my own. And I feel like I have to call every time I want to stop by because I'm not sure if it's open. Prices for pints and food are up (pints are a better deal always unless it's happy hour). The revamped food menu doesn't seem appealing either. The new staff isn't as friendly (maybe they don't employ students anymore?) There was a lady whose attitude was a bit condescending and off-putting. I'll still pop in whenever I'm on campus for nostalgic reasons, but it's not the same anymore.

Didn't try the food because I can't eat like I'm in my 20's any more. Great place to grab a drink if you find yourself going to UCI, though they are closed on the weekend. The establishment was named after Elias Jackson "Lucky" Baldwin - a prominent 19th century businessman who purchased over 40,000 acres of land in SoCal including Rancho Santa Anita, which became the foundation for Arcadia, Baldwin Park, & Baldwin Hills. He also built the opulent Baldwin Hotel & Theatre in San Francisco. I've been here in the past to watch Soccer matches with friends. The vibe is lively, especially during a match. That said, when I'm in a Pub I tend to go for Guinness or some kind of 1/2 & 1/2, and this time I chose Smithwick's with a Guinness topper. My bartender, Sarah, proffered a perfect poor, with a smile and a laugh, and I was ready for a good time. The menu is packed with traditional pub favorites plus other general sandwiches and salads, etc. I decided on their Reuben, which is built with Corned Beef, Swiss, Sauerkraut, both Russian AND Mustard, and it's served with fresh cut Fries. The sandwich was hearty and generously made, with flavorful corned beef boasting all the best of the pickling spices without too much salt -- the cook knows how to balance flavors. The sauerkraut and melty Swiss provided a rich, acidic contrast to the beef, an effect echoed by the blending of Russian with Brown Mustard. Then there was the bread -- an artisan rye with good flavor, appealing texture and just the right amount of fresh seeds to let you know this bread came from an oven not a bag. Fries were hand cut, as advertised, arriving hot and crispy with just the right dusting of salt -- a perfect match for the Reuben. This being Monday night, it was quiet on Colorado Blvd., and the restaurant had only a few people at dinner time. While this was a laid-back visit, I'm well aware the place can get busy and boisterous when people descend on their back-alley entrance, and it's hard to know which scenario would be better: the high energy pulse or the calm conversation. Best to come in multiple times for a proper scientific analysis (as well as several cold pints and a few very good meals).
