When we arrived at the house, the seller didn't have the power or heat on, so Jay recommended we reschedule so he could do a thorough inspection. Once all the power and heat was turned on, Jay went above and beyond going through all the parts of the house. He pointed out everything they needed to repaired and gave rough estimates and referrals throughout the house. The thing that really stood out though was that Jay was straightforward and honest in his assessment. I work on a lot of houses, so all the figures he gave for estimates were pretty much in line with what I would expect. Not too high, like he was selling me on a repair I didn't need. But also not underselling the cost of what needed to get done. To me, there's nothing more valuable then getting accurate information. Don't try and overinflate or udnerflate what costs will be. Just say it like it is and let me decide how to proceed. I will absolutely be using 4 Seasons for future Home Inspection work and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a home assessed.

Titan conducted an inspection for the seller of the home I was interested in purchasing. Titan said…read morehome was in good shape, furnace was 0k and roof nearing end of life expectancy. Per report, roof was still OK, not needing new roof immediately. Titan never got onto roof, only used a drone. Thankfully, I got my own inspection with a different company before deciding to purchase home. My inspector, who did get on roof, discovered extensive damage to roof to include water leaking into attic in several places. This inspector noted that roof needs replacement immediately. This damage was never listed on Titan report. Also, furnace was not Ok. It had not been inspected for 2 years and needed to be replaced. In addition, Titan report never mentioned water under house and some repairs needed there. While Titan used pictures and report looked good, I would have bought a house that needed thousands of dollars in repairs had I relied on their report.

Beware, a home inspection from Bishop Property Inspections may not be what you are expecting…read more They do not check everything in the home. Problems we had that were not listed on his report: Wrinkles in the carpet and the carpet was loose at the edge in the main walk way, causing a trip hazard. It is also loose at the backdoor. A kitchen cabinet doesn't close completely. We have to hire an electrician to fix the ceiling light fixture. Water from the downspout drains right at the garage foundation and puddles there. A living room window has a broken seal on the double-paned window causing condensation inside. He didn't check the attic for roof leaks, but that was because of the blown-in insulation. We could have negotiated with the seller of the home had we been aware of these issues, but because they were not listed on the home report we are now stuck paying for them ourselves. After contacting them about these issues he confirmed he does not check these items and he is not responsible for our loss. I sure wish I knew that before our realtor recommended him.
