He used a drone to get great detail on the roof and was able to chat through all the things he noticed with us. Great value and great service. They ended up saving me from entering into a money pit of a home by discovering several issues that were going to cost me loads of money. As a first time home owner, they sat me down mid way through the inspection and pointed out some red flags and then asked if I still wanted to continue with the sewer scope. By foregoing the sewer scope it allowed me to save a bit on the inspection cost. I really did feel they were my advocate in this process. Very professional, organized, and detailed oriented. I would highly recommend and would use them again in the future as my search for a home continues.

We've worked with other inspection teams in the past, but Joe is by far the best and we would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I recommend them to all my clients and I chose them to inspect the home I purchased for myself this year. The biggest thing they ever found for a client of mine was undisclosed major fire damage in the crawl space. David was inspecting the furnace which was under the house and surprisingly found burned beams underneath the house. We were able to negotiate with the sellers and have all the burnt framing removed and replaced at no cost. Another time, they discovered a hole in the home's main drain line using their sewer cam. This saved my client thousands of dollars in damages later. Old goat is worth every dollar and they don't rush inspections unlike other companies I've dealt with.

In every case he proved to be competent and thorough in his work. I like the way he spends time immediately after the inspection reviewing the findings both orally and using the many pictures he took. In all cases he was positive and truthful revealing an accurate and credible assessment of the house in question. His comprehensive digital report was delivered that evening or the next day. In all cases he took the time to make sure the client understood where all the critical components were located (gas shutoff, water shutoff etc.). He also offers the option to come back and update the report for any repairs that were made for a modest fee. For sellers, he provided the needed information we used to ensure any future transactions would not be hampered by last minute surprises from buyer inspections and lender appraisals. For buyers, he provided an accurate assessment of the property's condition avoiding any future surprises after the sale as well as expert guidance from which they could successfully navigate the home inspection contingency addendum process to determine what they are looking at and what, if any, requests of the seller they would make. Lastly, one of his unique traits is positive and friendly manner in which he conducts himself. Buying and selling a home is a very emotional and anxious time and his natural, easy going manner helps make the experience much less stressful. He is someone I can recommend with confidence.
